Funny how people point to a few false accusations to support their world view but never reference the *many* sexual assaults that do occur. Says a lot about them.4 points

I'm far more worried about programs at FBS institutions than FCS or non-football D-1's (UALR doesn't sponsor football, which is why they left the Sun Belt for the OVC). You have to go back to 2016 (Grand Canyon) for the last time a non-FBS D-1 program was dropped. Not-so-fun fact that nobody pitching a new program will mention (hopefully): no AD that has started wrestling at a Division I institution in the last 10 years has been around to see that program's first home dual (this is a streak that will continue with Morgan State).2 points

He's also very capable of He's also very capable of (a) undermining the well-being and chemistry of a team; (b) directing lots of unnecessary energy to his narcissistic needs; (c) besmirching the reputation of another school and program; (d) committing more crimes; (e) embarrassing the sport of wrestling; (f) losing to Aaron Brooks at 197; (g) becoming even more of a joke himself. If you will sell your own "soul" for a chance at one guy winning a title, then it suggests your sense of "dignity" is pretty low and isn't worth much.2 points

What a shame he was drinking and driving after what he already put everyone else through.2 points

Whatever the circumstwnces, I still don't want this self fellating turd biscuit anywhere near the Iowa Hawkeyes.2 points

C’mon this is a garbage post. AJ is innocent until proven guilty, but so is his accuser and yet you’re basically accusing her of filling false charges. Lots of cases get dropped for lack of evidence or various other reasons other than the charges being fabricated. The “thirst for attention” claim doesn’t really make sense since I’m pretty sure most people (including myself) have no idea who she is, and the “attention” is the exact reason given for dropping the charges.2 points

Arkansas State had a program back before there were the divisions (D1, D2, & D3). They had Dr. Harold Nichols as their coach. He left ASU and went back to Iowa, to be the head coach at Iowa State.1 point

Friday evening, the Cornell Big Red received a verbal commitment from one of the top wrestlers in the Class of 2025 Alessio Perentin (Delbarton, NJ). Currently, Perentin is ranked ninth overall in the Class of 2025 and third in MatScouts latest rankings at 165 lbs. Perentin is a two-time New Jersey state placewinner, taking fourth as a freshman and winning the 2023 tournament at 157 lbs for the perennial power Delbarton. Outside of New Jersey’s borders, Perentin has won the 2022 Beast of the East and finished seventh at the Super 32. In 2021 and 2022, Perentin made the medal stand at Fargo’s 16U freestyle tournament (2nd, 7th). With Perentin’s verbal commitment, Mike Grey’s team now has three commits from the Class of 2025, joining #71 Elijah Diakomihalis (NY) and #145 Jake Conroy (PA). Perentin projects at the 174 lb weight class which is good because the other two prospects project higher in weight. While there are a handful of returners at the weight class behind All-American Chris Foca, there isn’t a clear-cut successor ready to step in for him. A verbal from Perentin also continues the relationship between the Big Red and Delbarton. Cornell has a highly ranked wrestler from the Class of 2023 (Simon Ruiz), 2024 (Lou Cerchio), and now 2025 (Perentin) all whom attended Delbarton; which is the school Mike Grey attended. The Ivy League schools all have been after Delbarton kids of late. For more recruiting information, check out InterMat’s College Commitment Page .1 point

So what about the accounts listing him at 197? "By all accounts" is simply not true at this point1 point

He's a punter, so probably not. If he played QB it would be a different story. Look at Deshaun Watson for example....after everything happened the Browns gave him a guaranteed $250 million contract.1 point

Report ~month ago, defense was able to get access to her phone for evidence. Does mean AJ didn't do it or that she is a false accuser. But might mean she didn't want to be drug thru the mud with any and everything the defense might try to use on her phone.1 point

FISA court had no choice but to keep issuing warrants. The FBI and DOJ was generating hundreds of indictments from them. Ultimately those led to hundreds of convictions and lords knows how many decades of jail terms. More if Trump hadn't pardoned his associates.1 point

I hear Steele has a supplemental pee dossier with a cut and paste option on the named taker of the golden shower. Maybe the Trumpies can buy that on discount and get the FBI to lie and get FISA judges to authorize spying on Americans for purely political reasons. Nah. The FBI, FISA court, and all of our federal Justice Department personnel have too much integrity to do anything like that.1 point

Given these circumstances and his prior actions at Ok state that nobody denies (irresponsible use of guns and almost killing somebody with his driving), the idea of bringing him onto a college campus once again is a very scary prospect. Any coach that makes that decision should be held accountable if he were to behave as history tells us he likely will.1 point

Should be easy enough to make up lies, exaggerations, half truths and out of context comments on that dude. Unfortunately, it won't work on MAGA as they always require rock solid, incontrovertible proof before believing anything. Interesting reason he resonates with MAGA, so could be entertaining. Hopefully the DNC funds him.1 point

This happened to me when I was on a jury. Guy knifed a girl. Girl did not show up to testify. Mistrial so the guy got off. My take: Based on the evidence presented to the point of the mistrial, I would have said innocent. But I tell you this guy was the meanest looking person I have ever seen in my life. He was guilty of something. The fact that she didn't show up to testify tells me his buddies got to her. Bad dude for sure. Anyway, I was an alternate so I didn't really have to do much and when it was a mistrial, we were all let go. But again, based on the testimony that had been presented by the defense, I would have voted not guilty. It was an unusual case in that the defense went first because the prosecution's star witness was a no show. Defense rested and the star witness was still a no show. Mistrial. mspart1 point

I thought he was focusing on his doctoral dissertation at a clown college after Bellator cut him last year? Even if he registers there is no chance he shows up to OTT. But I do miss needling his dad who welched on a bet and would not make a donation to a women's & children's shelter because he is a scumbag human being on par with Trev Alberts.1 point

The first and still the best wrestling web-comic is “The Adventures of Jombo™.” For months now, this strip has entertained dozens of people across the country. And the new issue is out! Oh, what will Jombo™ do next? Today we deal with the latest twist and turn in the Ferrari case: A continuance in his trial until October. You know what wrestlers call it when a lawyer continues a case until a later date, don’t you?1 point
