  1. Individually, none of these charges are a big deal. It seems way worse when it is a list. Four hand guns? In Texas, that would be called a good start. But, it is nice balance so far. Reciprocity rules used to be quite daunting, but have been getting much easier to understand. Vape pen? Oh my, crime of the century. Now, driving under the influence is a problem, but I don't think that was one of the charges. Registration expired, another major crime. When I moved to State College, all I had for almost two years was a worn out paper saying I had a valid SC drives license, which I had lost at some point prior. When I finally went to get a PA drivers license at some rural outpost (early 80's), Officer Friend didn't take kindly to me not having done it earlier. He then gave me my exam orally. He asked me crazy questions off the top of his head like maximum weight for a class C commercial license. I failed and he handed me a book to study for the next attempt. Learned my lesson, but I didn't do any jail time. I hope it turns into a nothing burger.

  4. Went back and saw some of Taz's matches. He does sometimes muscle-athleticism his way to some scores, but there is artistry to his game. Impressed that Baranowski wrestled him that tough. Never managed to score, but you could tell that he's still a high level grappler and a formidable human. Poland might not even have a 1,000 active wrestlers across all age groups. For them to produce a 97 kg wrestler like that and have a couple of other quality guys is commendable in an age of America, Dagestan and the likes.

  7. Putting this on the college forum because there are very few posts on the women’s forum, and since HWC wrestlers rarely wrestle internationally (kidding, kinda) it probably didn’t deserve to be on the international board. I had noticed awhile back that a lot of Iowa’s women’s wrestlers when they wrestled in non-college events technically competed under the “Iowa Women’s Wrestling Club,” not HWC. However I believe Kennedy Blades is part of HWC? Is she the only woman on HWC? And If they’re going to have Blades on HWC, why the separation at all? Does this have to do with the Park Merry situation?

  8. Sioredas (current Cal Poly HC) was the coach when GCU shuttered the sport. HC before him was the one the school let go.

  13. You mean a locked gym bag correct? In fact he had everything in a locked car so really it was the police officer's fault for making him unlock his vehicle. NASCAR drivers go 200+ mph so this eliminates all speed limit laws correct?

  20. I thought Carr got screwed in the semis in a # of ways. - What was with the caution 1 with the pushout? Carr was in no position to dictate where he or his opponent went . He simply got driven out of bounds…hence a pushout. To give a caution 1 there ? - Then came the chest wrap. Carr stops his momentum, never touches his butt to ground and exposed Japan: Head official awards 2 for Carr 0 Japan (correct call) white paddled, Japan 2pts Carr gets nothing ..horrible . So Carr goes down 6-0 when the score really should have been 3-2 Japan. Carr gets two takedowns and on BOTH, Official blows action dead early as Carr is locking up a lace both times. Carr is on top and attempts what looks to be a trap arm tilt/gut, and exposes himself but ends up back on top. Rules say that when attempting a gut, it’s a point for the bottom guy if he’s able to hold you on your back for five seconds while you’re attempting a gut. Clearly that wasn’t the case but they just gave Japan two points for an exposure and then current one point for reversal. 8-5 now and then Carr with another takedpwn 8-7 he is down with 9 sec left. Carr gets in again and again and is taking him down as time expires..not in time. Challenge brick.. nice to see that his corner knows what that brick is for .. too little too late on that…loses challenge so final 9-7. Carr was the better wrestler I thought. I think for him to only lose by 1 (well before lost challenge) was unreal considering all the shinanigans going on with calls not in his favor.

  22. None of the individual allegations would bother me in isolation but... Loaded handgun: fine, should probably be properly registered but I can overlook that Expired tags: Don't care - but know that your tags are expired and behave accordingly Weed stuff: Don't care but while driving is stupid Three extra handguns in the car: If he's specifically on his drive to move, sure but probably lock them away. Any other case this one is weird. All of the above: That's a bit shady. If this were a guy named Pat Downey or AJ Ferrari everybody would be skewering him. He's very likeable and historically is a good dude but this is a bad look.

  29. You make a lot of assumptions to get to "no big deal," e.g., "additional unloaded guns out of reach"; "lightweight on the weed," etc. I don't know where you are from and while you may have had three or more at some point in time, that is NOT typical behavior. The whole thing smells bad and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he gets a little time for the whole kerfuffle.

  30. Its a felony but the permit in Ohio may lead to a plea deal. unless the THC possession voids the Ohio permit. Theres a drug use question on almost all permit forms.

  31. Is this your standard Ohio State going away gift bag? "before denying consent to search the OSU bag. He admitted it contained additional firearms, and police seized the vehicle and obtained a search warrant, court records say. The bag was then found to contain three handguns: an FN 9mm, Walther .380-caliber and Glock 27 .40-caliber, according to the court records."

  49. I definitely notice that the above listings were past & established wrestlers consisting that 1-2 punch in the lineups. But can I put forth a potential 1-2-3 punch in next season's LEHIGH lineup? Sheldon Seymour (6th/125) @ 125 Ryan Crookham (3rd/133) @ 133 and Luke Stanich (5th/125) @ 141 It's been awhile since LEHIGH had such a potential start (IF the dual starts at 125) in a dual like they do now.
