Former Boise State wrestler Andrew Hochstrasser as an assistant wrestling coach. Hochstrasser was a teammate of Utah Valley's head wrestling coach when they were both competing for Boise State and he was also a three-time NCAA qualifier and a two-time NCAA All-American (2nd in 2011 and 4th in 2009). https://gouvu.com/sports/wrestling/roster/coaches/andrew-hochstrasser/24113 points

I think arresting criminals and putting them in the pokey would increases public safety. When you have less police that happens less. When you have prosecutors that do not press charges after an arrest, that happens less. When you have judges that let dangerous criminals go without bail or very low bail (has kamala famously has supported with money), public safety suffers. Everything about this causes public safety to suffer. mspart3 points

Donald and Kamala will say the things that liberals and conservatives want to hear. You will hear what you want to hear and dismiss unconsciously what you do not. The media will spin their spin. You will soak up this media and harden your existing bias. Their attacks on each other do not matter. Policy matters. Do you support ensuring everyone has the same outcomes? (Kamala does) Do you support making all illegal aliens as American citizens? (Kamala does) Do you support elections that includes non citizen voting? (Kamala does) Do you support freedom to choose abortion for the entire duration of the pregnancy? (Kamala does) Do you support defunding police? (Kamala does) Do you support foreign interference in other's affairs -- war, etc.? (Kamala does) Do you support higher taxes to increase subsidies for loan forgiveness and higher benefit payout for illegal aliens and citizens? (Kamala does) Do you support teaching critical race theory in schools? (Kamala does) Do you support censoring speech? (Kamala does) Do you support banning guns? (Kamala does) Do you support biological males beating up females in boxing? (Kamala does) It doesn't matter that Kamala couldn't win a debate against her Democratic peers in 2020. It doesn't matter that Kamala was a DEI VP selection and is now a DEI potential president nominee. The rumors of how she gained early career opportunities do not matter. Her cackling annoying laugh is what it is. She cannot communicate clearly without a projector... She hasn't accomplished her VP assignments... None of this matters. What matters is that her policies are anti American and bad for current citizens. It doesn't matter that Trump is an asshole, etc. etc.. Trump policies are better.3 points

Was just kinda making a point in generalizing. His example had B) making 25,000 with two kids, and your response of having needs met they didn’t work for. My point just being that teachers are just one example of low paying professions, (yes some places are still starting out around 25-30k) but they sure do work their asses off.2 points

When you think police does not add to public safety, then lessening their budget should have no effect on public safety. That is her position. All you have to do is look at those jurisdictions that have reduced police budgets to see how their public safety has suffered. mspart2 points

I'm not hiding or running from anything. I'm just pointing out where you excoriated everyone for hurtful posts and then you do it with apparent impunity. You posted it. Why try to change the subject? mspart2 points

She quite literally said that equity is where everyone ends up at the same place. https://www.cato.org/blog/kamala-harris-pursuit-equity This is a Harris quote from the video going around again. So there’s a big difference between equality and equity. Equality suggests, “oh everyone should get the same amount.” The problem with that, not everybody’s starting out from the same place. So if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here, we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me. It’s about giving people the resources and the support they need, so that everyone can be on equal footing, and then compete on equal footing. Equitable treatment means we all end up in the same place. mspart2 points

They lost 2x state champ Nakoa Fouret (brother of Kekana at Oregon State) who is now at Clackamas. THey also gained Jake Castagneto who I believe was originally committed to NDSU, Hudson Rogers who was originally an Oregon State commit, Talen Eck who I believe was also committed elsewhere and NJCAA runner up Bridger Ricks from Western Wyoming. Hall has done a good job in a short time of getting a few guys into the room. The next recruiting cycle should be a good one for him. There is some good talent coming up in Utah.1 point

I agree with teachers and them not making that much money, and it is a thankless job. But I would have to imagine teachers all in all make a good living if they live within their means. I know a lot of teachers through coaching, family and friends who are...and they all make a pretty darn good living. Then again, we live in the burbs/smaller town district where there is probably more money for teachers then let's say the inner cities. Guess my point is that teachers are hard workers, smart and will do what it takes to make ends meet.1 point

True, and when it gets too burdensome, those people are voted out and a correction takes place. That is the way it works. I assume you have no problem with that since that is democracy. We are facing that today with the Presidential race. Remove current regime (Kamala represents the current regime) or try something that worked better before. That is the choice we have. That is democracy. mspart1 point

There are things to criticize with any coaching staff outside of State College, but you invalidate your own criticism when your starting place is "they can't coach." It's a ridiculous statement that doesn't even really merit a rebuttal, but because you've annoyed me I'll do it anyway. The "getting off bottom" criticism had some merit a few years ago but has largely been corrected. I think that can definitely be attributed to a lack of focus on that area historically which was definitely worthy of examination. Front head or head under I don't know where you're getting that. There are a number of wrestlers in their lineup that score frequently from both positions. Mat returns I'm assuming you just threw in their because you needed a third example and you picked it out of a hat. Tomasello went 1-3-3-3 with losses to Gilman, Clark, and Lee at NCAA's. Wrestled a great tournament his freshman year but was lucky to have Moisey in the finals. Martin had an all-time run as a true freshman to win it from the 11 seed, but only faced the 6 seed and three unseeded opponents until he knocked off an over-zealous Nickal in that final. He improved every single year thereafter. Bo Jordan was hampered massively in the back half of his career by injuries, and dealt with an unplanned launch into fatherhood while still in college. Your criticism is lazy, and if you really want to criticize Ohio State you're not even picking the right examples. You also completely ignore the many many positive examples that support an argument that not only can TR and staff coach, but they can coach quite well.1 point
