Yes, we all know that you never take precautionary measures when it comes to security. Just wait until an attack happens to do something. Thanks for the reminder.3 points

You can't read can you. I gave you an answer and that's not good enough for you or you just can't read past the first few words. mspart2 points

Willfully ignorant. Civilians are killed in every war and UB. Quit pretending they are not. You make it sound like the IDF is targeting civilians. They are not. That is verified. I gave you a list of numbers of civilians killed in war and you disregarded it. That's on you. It happens, it is war. Lots of people die both soldier and civilian. Its what happens. They shouldn't be targeted but to win a war, people have to die. That is the definition of war. It ain't pretty. mspart2 points

How about a group of uninvited people stand in the entryway to your house? They are there only to tell you how much they hate you. They don't do it politely. After you acknowlege they hate you they refuse to leave. They impede your ability to go to your yard. You have friends coming over to eat dinner but they can't get in your house. You call the police to ask them to remove the uninvited haters from your house. Yes, this is horrible. Trespassing is a crime. A felony if someone the leftists don't like thinks about it in New York.2 points

Doesn’t matter if they willingly joined Hamas or not. And I’ll answer it again since your comprehension skills are that of a four year old. There are people too stupid and/or too lazy to use protection while having sex and then end up with an unintended pregnancy. They know full well that they can just get an abortion which therefore means they used it as contraception. Again almost half of all abortions are “repeat” abortions so before you tell me that it doesn’t happen why don’t you prove that it hasn’t. You won’t because you can’t.2 points

Isabella Lorenzana (Queens) vs. Caroline Biegel (DePaul Catholic, NJ) Lorenzana will compete against Biegel in a matchup of two 2024 NHSCA All-Americans. Biegel and Lorenzana took sixth and seventh place, respectively, at NHSCA but did not wrestle each other. Lorenzana is also 2024 16U Folkstyle All-American and New York freestyle state champion. Biegel, who took eighth place at the 2024 U.S. Open, is also a 2024 New Jersey freestyle state champion and three-time state medalist. Evin Gursoy (Brooklyn) vs. Dunia Sibomana-Rodriguez (Long Beach, NY) Gursoy, a two-time NHSCA All-American and 2024 New York state champion in folkstyle and freestyle, will face Sibomana-Rodriguez, a 2022 New York state champion and 2024 NHSCA All-American. Sibomana-Rodriguez also earned All-America honors at the 2022 USA Wrestling U15 and 2024 U17 age-group levels in freestyle. Oumar Tounkara (Bronx) vs. Grey Burnett (Perrysburg, OH) Tounkara, a 2023 National Preps All-American and New York Greco-Roman state champion and 2024 NHSCA national champion, will face 2023 U16 freestyle national champion and 2024 Ohio state champion Burnett. Both wrestlers are ranked in the top 10 of their respective weight classes by FloWrestling, with Tounkara at No. 9 at 106 pounds and Burnett at No. 5 at 113 pounds. Andrew Alirez (Northern Colorado) vs. Jesse Mendez (Ohio State) NCAA national champions will compete in a freestyle wrestling match to headline the event. Alirez and Mendez have won the 141-pound national title the past two years, Alirez in 2023 and Mendez in 2024. https://us.givergy.com/2024BeatTheStreetsBenefit/?controller=additionalInfo&action=page&number=12 points

he has somehow managed to become a tweener which is hilarious to say. I dont think he is athletic enough for 197 or to be competitive at the top of heavy now. ultimately the size advantage at 197 is probably his best bet. A carter vs Cass match makes me laugh to think about.2 points

Just stay on the couch and do nothing. Because they want Hamas to do what they did.2 points

I kind of wouldn't mind seeing Olympic wrestling was held as a dual-style team event, like the World Cup, with Worlds happening every year for individual titles*. That way, countries could have rosters with multiple wrestlers competing at a weight or at multiple weights, and it might restore ten weight classes to the Olympics since it would be faster(?) with fewer medals overall. Dunno if it would help expand the sport globally, though. * or maybe flip it so that worlds are team events every year and the Olympics are individual tournaments, idk2 points

Recent results (Carroll at 92 KG this last weekend against comparable competition) suggest that it would be competitive. There are reasons to think it would not be competitive, though, based on results. Carroll over Cassioppi 6-6 on criteria. Carroll over Shumate 16-6 in 4M21S. Shumate over Glazer 11-0 in 1M55S.1 point

I agree 100%, as a Long Islander it is sad to see what has become of Hofstra Wrestling. Hofstra is so bad that me and my buddy actually have Rutgers wrestling season tickets and that is like 2.5 hours away. If Hofstra hired a guy like Coleman Scott and keep some of the top Long Island/Upstate wrestlers plus Jersey & PA there is no doubt that they could be back to being a top 20 program again1 point

Jax has spent a ton of time in Stilly, TON of time. He and Daton are pretty tight, there were rumors for awhile he was going to end up at Stillwater highschool. Obviously, things change, but Stillwater will be in the conversation.1 point

Easy there, slugger. You paint a picture of innocent Palestinians who aren't dissenters for fear of their lives. That's convenient. YET: How many Palestinians have been posting online (anonymously) calling for Hamas demise? None. How many of the protesters at US Universities (who aren't subject to the Hamas terror group) have been calling for Hamas demise? None. How many news services (who aren't subject to the Hamas terror group) have been reporting Palestinians calling for Hamas demise. None. Palestinians (and those that support them) have every opportunity to separate them from the terrorist Hamas that govern them without weapons and without any risk. Yet they don't. (You included.) The facts tell the story. You're full of shit. Disclaimer: I don't know you and you may be smarter than I give you credit for. But, if so, you certainly haven't shown it here.1 point

I'd definitely watch Olympic breakdancing if it were on the tube. I don't see why the hand-wringing. Meanwhile, the sports that should be eliminated are the ones that wouldn't exist at all, but for the Olympics. I'm looking at you, synchronized swimming and modern pentathalon.1 point

Yeah, we worked from home and then were told to work in office 4 days a week. We get to work from home 1 day a week. I resisted at first with the same comments braves is making. I have been out for 2 months working from home for the last 3 weeks. I can't go into the office so it is good to have this opportunity. But I am ready to go back in, I just need someone to take me as I can't drive anymore for awhile. I like working in the office. More and better connections with coworkers. But being at home once a week is nice too. mspart1 point

At least BMX racing is an actual sport. The fastest person wins; I dont have much problem with that. Its all the flippy-dippy, synchronized stuff where one competes for style points while wearing make-up, costumes, and a smile that have no place in the Olympics. Just because something takes incredible athletic ability does not make it a sport. Have you ever watched the best tap dancers in the world? They are seriously badass. Still, tap dancing aint a sport.1 point

And I stand by what I said. War is hell. Support terrorists and you have to deal with the blow back. Now show where (other than your biased interpretation) that I said it’s ok.1 point

the silence out of Hofstra is scary...Wouldn't you want to hire someone asap for recruiting...This is the same school who had a very good Football team led by former NY Jets HC Joe Gardi and they shut down a 72 year Program in 2009 out of nowhere...Dennis P. brought a very good Team/Program down into the basement ... Hofstra went from a good fan base and team to no fans and bad...Its too bad because Long Island and nearby PA and Jersey can feed Program and have a great team with right coach...Wasn't that long ago Tom Ryan had Hofstra in top 20 and good fan base....I really hope they dont drop Program...I'll say it again IF Hofstra is serious about Program they would hire Coleman Scott1 point

I dont think we won't know the total cost for quite some time, might take 5 decades or more. What is going to be the impact on productivity, earnings etc. on all these kids K thru college who weren't allowed to be in a proper learning environment and all those who now prefer work from home, remote etc. We really don't know.1 point

Patrick Kennedy is a Big Ten Champ and U23 World Team Member, but will not start at Iowa. I was expecting him to hit the portal, but it feels like that is not happening this year. We act like it is a forgone conclusion that Gabe Arnold is the starter - maybe we should reconsider that assumption.1 point
