I would like to add Ty Watters to that list for 23/24 - NCAA 4th as a True Frosh at WVU

I am not replying to you but to some of the other posters on here. That particular mask blocks particles 3 micron and larger. They are useless against Covid. The Covid 19 virus is .07 microns. The N95 mask which no one gave us to wear blocks particles .3 microns and larger. Better but still not very effective. Remember the covid 19 is .07 microns. the hair on your head is 70 microns in diameter to give you an idea how small the covid 19 is. Then you have all the gaps around the mask because it is a poor fit on your face. But if makes you feel better to wear a mask ,wear it.

Interesting that the AD said nothing was reported. ADs either at least occasionally visit or they don't. Neither answer is a good one for something like this.

There are World championships in the fall of this year for non-Olympic weights. Some of these guys should consider trying to make the US team and bring home a medal. That is going to be Vito's approach at 61KG. The US has a bunch of good wrestlers in the 79KG weight area. Hall should go there. He's too small for 86KG, and Borroughs will be done at that point, too so it wouldn't present an RTC issue at Penn since they both train there. If Brooks loses at OTT, he would fit well at 92KG. At 70 KG, Mesenbrink, Shapiro, and others (e.g. Pantaleo) would have a shot at Senior medals. Downey should leave a freshly washed singlet on the match if leaving shoes isn't his style:

Although i agree that he might not be a big upgrade for what they have on their roster and he (Flynn) doesn't portend to be a big point scorer at ncaas. Michigan, on the other hand, has absolutely no one at 125. they have Caden Horwath (who beat Braeden Davis in hs last year) but he only went 2-6 this season.

AJ Ferrari was Smiths last individual national champion in 2021. Before that it was Dean Heil in 2017. Kids today still know John Smith. He won the Olympics in the 1992 that was 32 years ago. Dan Gable won the Olympics in 1972. College and high school wrestlers still know who was in 2004. And even if they have forgotten it doesn't appear to have negatively affect his ability to recruit. OSU secured 12 top 25 recruits over the past 5 recruiting classes which is the second best behind only PSU (13) and a significant advantage over Ohio State (9), Iowa (8), Michigan (7), and Cornell (6).

I always listen to him and usually I brush it off because usually there is something semi substantial going in the psu guys favor but they've wrestled twice in the last 13months and it has not been remotely close and one guy has been training exclusively freestyle, So I just found this one particularly egregious.

For some reason im more confident with Alirez over Lee as opposed to Alirez over Yianni. Not just because of past results but I think Lee is more susceptible to his swing single to lace. Yianni has a little more "freestyle funk" that can get him out of sticky situations.

If it wasn't for the "i'm gonna end his career" tripe, I'd say I was almost certain he knew he was going 86 the whole time, and even considering that I think he might have known but just wanted to shoot off his mouth, putting out misinformation (downstairs drilling) is not uncommon. Star is taking the appropriate amount of criticism because of his past comments, but its necessary to point out that he could have easily just put it all off on his knee and stayed home. He isn't scared of losing.

I think if you peruse the results of each wrestler in comparison you will see a difference. Agree - Cruz was a big time recruit, but even with a change of scenery to Iowa, he hasn't had great results.
