  1. Sounds like you have a Very Peculiar Need to watch an event and given Flo's questionable business practices it causes us fans to Vent Profusely Needlessly. It's too bad they don't offer an easier way to View Particular Noteworthy events.

  3. I really like Marsteller's draw here. He has a lot to prove, but the one guy I don't see him beating has to see Usmanov of Russia... I love that... I am taking Marsteller to make the finals over Usmanov.

  4. I started off in a few spots like "wtf" but overall, well done. #Cheers I enjoyed it Thanks and I forgot to include DNP + DNQ for the expats at 86 and 97. Hopefully Amine can keep proving me wrong. I’m also pulling for Snyder’s Day 1 gas tank > Russian Tank this time around. I hope the brute cardio can overcome the technical edge.

  14. Bleise went to Army... good that they are at least keeping the position. Roster is looking a little thin. Only 1 at a couple weights. Hoping they survive the realignment or whatever happens.

  17. Not for this. The numbers are randomly given to every athlete. Then they separate by weight. They then put the Top 8 seeded gents in to their respective positions. After that they figure out how many first round byes are needed per weight, depending on total entries (97 KG for example has 35 wrestlers, so there needs to be 13 first round byes). They give the seeded wrestlers, in order the byes first (so 1-8) then randomly drawing in the other five (5) byes - making sure to separate them (so you aren't going to have four of those five being in the bottom and one on top, for example) for a total of 13 byes (for 97 KG specifically) in the first round. After that all the unseeded wrestlers are ordered from lowest number to highest number and just put in that way. #1 would go in the first available slot, from the top down. If the next number was 56 they would go in the second slot. If then next number was 57 they would go in the third slot.

  19. As I recall- the numbering displays mat assignments. Something like under 100 Mat A, 100s B 200s C 300s D. The Mat letters might be rotated differently but I believe it's something like that.

  21. Perfect for Snyder actually considering his limited chances. Goleij will lose to Sad but may tire him out in the process with the pushing and forward pressure. Especially if Sad is out of shape as some are saying.

  35. Retail theft is a HUGE problem. What's crazy is that some try to represent this as a sort of weird R vs D topic... when it really isn't. It's a giant problem for all, regardless of politics. It's like car-jacking - these are really big, really bad problems. That we need to get together to solve instead of wasting our efforts bickering over laying blame. I don't see anything constructive, at all, in trying to make this an R vs D topic. I would think you'd all feel the same.

  39. Have known Tanner Sloan since he was in Kindergarten (he and my bro had an “intense” rivalry from K-6th grade and met for the first of many times in the semis at state in Kindergarten…. He was one of my favorite guys in that class on and off the mat… fun wrestling style and nicest kid in the world off the mat. Great at football as well as 4H in his day as well! Easily one of my fave current NCAA wrestlers. In 2019 I interviewed probably 300 or so college/HS kids at random events that I covered for an old publication called The Predicament that I contributed for from 2007-2019… Out of everyone I’ve ever interviewed, Rocky Elam stands out as one of the most well-spoken, polite and appreciative wrestlers I’ve ever encountered. Have been a fan of his since!
