Loved it all Truzz. HOLDING CENTER, love that you mentioned that, I'm sure Ono as a partner has helped advance his FS game as well. Blaze looks the part of a world contender, but like you, hoping Jax gets it figured out . Bo has as good a shot as anyone we could send at 65kg, Woods has looked pretty bad in RAF, whoever he ended up facing here, I was hoping he'd be dethroned, and the excitement behind what Bassett brings to the table is enough for me. Not sure Chance should be stock up, I've thought he was the best we could throw out there at 79kg and I'm confident he'll get it done against Haines. You made some great other observations, but I gotta reference the Dake one. You're right, he looked GREAT, I was over here going "Damnit is he good again?" because I'd like Zahid to go crush the field again, but I think the version of Dake we just saw beats him. Vito and Suriano being too small was expected, I know the dream is olympics but would've liked to see them just stay down and attempt to qualify for Worlds. No clue on Carr, he's definitely our best guy hope to see him snap out of it. Oh and I expect whatever happens at Final X to be definitive between Lee and Lightening Luke, Either LL takes the approach of "you're not scary anymore" Or Lee comes out with 2 dominant victories, I don't think there's any place for 2-3 close matches.

Feel like I'm going to make a youtube video breakdown of my "feels" for worlds this year, contenders, pretenders, and people you should know. Seems like a fun project to take up my some of my summer. And I hate the bullet point, "Only known guys" approach, most of the outlets take. Hopefully it's received well.

And as far as Mamedov losing. I always wonder what the training environments become for these people leaving Russia. Seems like the depth of practice room competition would be difficult to replicate. I wish I knew more about this sport

Brackets/draws are out on UWW, some really interesting clusters of talent at a few weights. Mamedov vs Tevanyan second round is fun As is Salkazanov starting with the Veliev (Belgium) vs Bizhoev winner (Bizhoev 9x out of 10). I wish I knew more about this sport

Sujeet has always been the truth, but he just never stays on the gas. He should medal, but I just can't see him putting together a full tournament. Also Zhamalov's at 79kg just isn't the same guy. He's a tough out, but he can be "gotten" great result though for Japan..... Excited for worlds this year! I wish I knew more about this sport

Yeah he's going in men's, full on trying to beat the best. I have a few friends doing the old timers and I think that'd be a lot of fun, but I'm too old to be checking to see if I could still make a world team (I never was within 1000 miles of being that good) ... He's like 28 so maybe this will change his view. I'm doing my first BJJ event May 16th (I've gone to about 6 practices ever so pray for me .... This was a JH kid challenging me to try it ) But maybe I'll enter Vets in 2027, it does seem like fun. I bet you crushed MSPART!

My coworker entered....respect...... He's delusional but respect Excited for some fun matchups

I forgot you guys would be on here having a time..... I watched it with my wife, and gave her attention and explained things to a non-wrestler the entire evening, when I could've been on here talking noise..... next time brothers, next time!

Awesome!

This is wild , I love this match even at 0-0

Please just Tech Davino so the hype train can go nuclear

I can't see Davino losing by any more than 2, but hope he gets majored

The least action packed 125 final of all time, craziest the Heavies had so much more action

Unfortunately he never tried a move

My message to my group chat was "If yall aren't familiar with McGowan, he stalls his way into a close match, and then with 40 seconds left or so, he'll give a great effort to win or lose it"

What have I missed ? haahahhahahha

I hope McGowan does anything here

Im so sorry guys I didnt realize we were bashing anyone, I was just pumped for the matches! Who's the bad guy and why do I dislike him? Somebody tell me!

He's just not a beast from neutral, he's a thoroughbred folkstyle guy, but he will definitely add to our depth

That scramble just slandered my soul

I love this competitiveness but I also wish we could watch Ferrari lose to Trumble And of course I want to see Yonger win 1 . BUT...... again... just watching Trumble, AJ would've struggled

I got Bastida, but Trumble could do anything, who knows

Come on CM..... you gotta shock the world!!!!

I'm not always a fan of stalling but when it's my guy.... LETS GOOOOOO

I feel like Barr is Ivan Drago, and Merrill is an Asian Rocky
