I might do something like... Tier 1 - Penn State (1) Tier 2 - EMPTY Tier 3 - Lehigh (15) Tier 4 - Penn (21), Pitt (19) Tier 5 - Drexel (32), Lock Haven(38), Bucknel (35) Tier 6 - Edinboro(51) Tier 7 - Franklin & Marshal (72), Clarion (74) Tier 8 - EMPTY Tier 9 - Bloomsburg (79) To me, if you're a tier above or below, someone, you should expect a good dual. There isn't a team coming close to Penn State. This would have been for this last year.6 points

It's really more about how he carries himself. Will constantly pull out the "I'm not a journalist" card when he's proven wrong, but will proudly show off every time a major media outlet quotes him in an article about wrestling. Will egg Iowa on and on but will be up in arms if you point out what he is doing is some weak trolling bait. Claims to be "trying to do right by the kids," but will cry up a storm when a parent tells him not to make posts about her son. Hell, he's even started referring to Dean Peterson as "our last 125lber" because the kid expressed not being happy with how he was sharing his transfer to Iowa and sharing their text messages to anyone who questioned the validity of his statements. To put it bluntly, he is a parasite who feeds off the groundwork of others (whether it be wrestlers, coaches or journalists) in order to appear like a "prominent figure" in this small community because he couldn't do it on the mat.5 points

Today is the next hearing in the proposed House Settlement. If approved: Damages - the settlement allows for $2.8 billion in damages to be paid to former athletes from 2016 to present. 95% of that will go to football, men's basketball, and women's basketball. Only 5% is earmarked for Olympic and non-revenue sports. This is funded by the NCAA insurance and withholding revenue from the men's basketball tournament. Effectively the Power 5 will pay 40% and other conferences will pay 60%. There may be some legal action over that split. Direct payments to athletes - initially capped at $20.5 million, there is no minimum. To pay athletes schools must opt in to the settlement. Power 5 schools are required to opt in, everyone else is optional. Roster limits - will replace scholarship limits for schools opting in. For wrestling the limit is 30. If subject to a roster limit, schools can give out as many scholarships as they choose/can fund. NIL - national guidelines will be put in place mandating reporting to a clearinghouse and approval of any deals greater than $600 to ensure they reflect fair market value. Enforcement - the Power 5 schools will create an enforcement mechanism, meaning it will no longer be up to the NCAA. The NCAA will only be in charge of eligibility rules, playing and administrative rules, and running championships. Deloitte has been contracted to make fair value assessments of proposed deals.4 points

Senior year in HS. Wrestling at 185. District meet. My teammate (placed 2nd at state the following year) wrestling at 167 gets a guy up in the air on a takedown and slams him (accidentally) to the mat. Yes, it was a slam. The kid was fine. Just as he starts to get up, his coach yells out (loud enough for he whole gym to hear) "Stay down." The coach runs out to check on his kid. Sure enough he is "injured" so the kid wins and my teammate loses on a DQ for the move. Later that evening in the finals, I am wrestling a kid from that same school in the 3/4 match. Sure enough their kid picks me up and slams me to the mat (again, unintentionally). Just as I hit the mat, the whole gym goes quiet. Then, everyone in the gym all yelled at the same time "stay down!" I busted out laughing. I got up and looked at their coach (who was hiding behind his hands) and yelled "Nope coach, not stooping to your level." Everyone in the gym heard it and gave me a standing ovation. The ref looked at me and couldn't stop laughing. He says I should hit you with unsportsmanlike conduct for talking to the coach, but he deserved it. I did manage to get the decision.4 points

Started as a sophomore because team needed a HWT. Had a terrible first season, but put the work in going forward because I grew to fall in love with the sport. Cut down to 195 for my final 2 seasons of HS before going HWT. for club team in college. Got into coaching for a few seasons upon graduation. The 10 years I was deeply involved with the sport were some of the most important times of my life. I have not stepped on a mat in over 3 years at this point, and I miss it so much. Maybe one day work/life situations will change to where I can get involved with coaching again. Thank you, wrestling.4 points

4th grade 120 pounds 9th 171 10th 275 weighing about 200 11th 215 12th 215 RS and RsFR 197 Finished in the dancing bear weight class, was able to "bulk" up to 248 for a single day. Not fun do not recommend. I'm currently training for another Boston Marathon where I'm hoping to stay under 2:47 and this morning was 188.6 two weeks out going into taper madness. Pre-race double dinner and morning liquids for the late start should get me up to around 202-4 at the line in Hopkinton.3 points

Not sure what employer doesn't match based on schedule unless it's a mom & pop that can't afford it, which I have a large number of reasons to avoid. I frontload mine every year now. It's a big game sales hunter approach - no paycheck for a minute at the beginning of the year, but I get it over with and then the match happens and then every two weeks is smooth sailing. If I'm a loser in the Game Of Thrones then I at least have some extra bonus money down the road that I would not have seen if I went equal throughout the year.3 points

Here's a quick list off the top of my head... Jim Martin, NCAA 4-2-1-3. Champ at 126 in 1988. Martin lost two bout during his frosh year in HS (5th at states), then went undefeated for the remainder of his HS career. I was his 100th consecutive win during the streak that closed out his HS career. Scott Collins, 1991 NCAA Champ (149) Mike Cole, 2x AA. 3rd at 142 in 1987 & 1989. Was the #1 seed at NCAAs in 1989, having beat Pat Santoro in the All Star Classic & EWL tourney. Paul Gemberling, Fargo champ, PIAA AAA champ & 4th for Shikellamy. Last person to beat Jack Cuvo in HS loss, during their sophomore seasons. Tony Reed, NCAA R12 @ 134 in 1989. 2x PIAA AAA state champ for Shikellamy.3 points

U17: 45kg: I think your front runners are Keegan Bassett, Ace Chittum and Kooper Deputy. Chittum just ran rough shot through the journeyman field but Bassett is going to be my pick here. While some may think he had a down year he ended up taking 4th in a tough field at PA states and as evident by him still wrestling 99lbs here was extremely undersized. 48kg: Frontrunners are Chase Karenbauer, Ariah mills, Michael Rundell, Sean Kenny. I am really high on mills and Kenny. I think that Karenbauer has a bit more of a proven track record to this point so he is probably my pick however it is worth noting that Rundell won fargo juniors last year at 100lbs but it was a pretty weak weight. 51kg: This is a fun weight. Schwab boys, Justin Farnsworth, Sammy Sanchez lead the way for me. I am expecting a Sanchez Farnsworth final with Sanchez coming out on top. I think he is one of the most talented kids at u17's which is pretty obvious he is the defending world champ. 55kg: I think some people may see this weight as Paul Kenny next topic. I personally think Grey burnett is going to give him a run for his money. Burnett has a crazy motor to contrast Kennys slickness. I am going to go out on a limb and pick Burnett here but either guy I think has a great shot at gold at worlds. 60kg: I think Myers and Corbin are ahead of the field here and would be a rematch of the fargo semis last year. I am going with Corbin despite falling in that match last year. I feel like he is going to make a lot of noise this off season he seems to be growing into his body and he has always had the skill. 65kg: I would be surprised if Noah Bull did not win this weight he is very very good. He could meet fellow Utah native Austin ellis in the finals. 71kg: This weight is Jayden James next topic but Jayden O farril took 4th at PA states probably 3 weights above where he should be and Eli Esguerra is super tough as well. 80kg: Aaron stewart being u17 eligible still is insane he is going to be a man amongst boys here. I Have not input at 92 or 110 they both seem to be very shallow weights right now as far as who is registered. U20: Ok this is more of my bread and butter 57: This weight is sick. Immediate inclination is to pick Knox but I think Raney can absolute win this. I thought the cut may be too much for him but he is registered for 55kg for greco so I am not as worried about that now. Munaretto I just do not think is there as far as strength and physical maturity goes yet. Kilkeary, Lauridsen, Ramirez seem like the biggest landmines to me. Lauridsen took down and gutted RBY last summer, Ramirez is coming off a great showing at the dapper Dan and Kilkeary is always game. I think knox will have a chip on his shoulder here but I think I am going with a Lauridsen Raney final with Raney coming out on top I dont know call me crazy. 61: This weight is nuts and could get even crazier should Davino and Blaze double dip for juniors and seniors. As of now I think your front runners are Jax,Larkin,Seidel. Jax has wins over both in Folk however I think Larkin is a bit better at Free than he is folk. Jax is still my pick and I will go over seidel I just think he has looked awesome since fargo last year. Kellen wolbert and Sam herring down at 61 will be fun to see Wolbert was all the way up at 150 at points this year. 65: Bassett,Zepeda,Vega,Stanich,Manville,Grajeda,Bouyssou,Perry,Gorman,Ninninger,Askew. This weight is absolutely loaded I am on record that I think Vega can beat Bassett and I thought he was my pick. Then Stanich entered and that really threw me. I am going to take Stanich but any of those 3 guys can absolutely win this weight. Stanich I think holds up in the handfight with bo better than anyone but Vega does some things that just do not make sense. Grajeda I believe is first year u20 eligible and is super super fun to watch so check him out as well. 70: Front runners here to me are Gaj,Miller,Wasilewski,Joy and I think I am going with Melvin. Gaj's style place much better in folk I think. He will let guys in on his legs which may give him trouble here. Joy is coming off of an insane redshirt season but he did not hit any super good guys so I cannot put him ahead of Wasilewski as of yet. Melvin and Joy split last year and while both certainly got better I think Melvin may have improved just a bit more and thats why I am going with him here. Any of those 3 guys I would not be shocked at all if they took it and if PJ double enters then he is the guy. 74: Catrabone,Denny,Millard are the guys to watch for me here. Millard really impressed me this season and I like him more in free than I do catrabone. 79: Brock man that is all 86: Max over Ryder in the finals if Ryder enters. If not Max over Waters but Max by a wide margin 92: light field I will take Sonny sasso 97: Again light field but a winner we should feel good about his medal odds with Rademacher. 125: Crazy weight at the top with Hopke,Mocco,Merrill,Ross I am going with Ross with zero conviction I just think he has gifts that were meant for wrestling with his ability to move and arm length. @Husker_Du let me know what the brain thinks2 points

Because I'm not particularly close to retirement age and have my own business, I have a variety of retirement accounts. Some from when I was part of the corporate world, some after - so a mix of 401k/IRA/Brokerage accounts. The 401k's time horizon is long and it's not an actively contributed to account, so I'm standing pat on that. My cost averages on those accounts are low, so I'm anticipating decent return on those accounts by the time I retire. My IRA is contributed to each year, but with the contribution limits being so low, I usually just contribute all $7k at once and don't concern myself with DCA. This year, I'll be buying a dip (or worse). How much is ultimately TBD, but it'll be a discount of some sort and the time to recover is also TBD while we have a chaotic administration/policies in place. The brokerage is where I'm focused at the moment. My wife and I are fortunate enough to have some free cash to invest and have been tracking a few different indexes for the past month. I have triggers set to buy XX dollars worth when there is XX% decrease. I have trackers up all day and monitor the after-hours and pre-market trading. I'm avoiding individual stocks so far, but have a few on my radar if the price drops enough. Essentially, I'm buying regularly and lowering my cost averages each time. I'm in the red a decent amount on paper at the moment over the past month, but I'm comfortable with that because of my time horizon. I certainly have some concerns about the damage being done to our trade relationships and the ability of our governmental system to return to some semblance of a three-pronged, equal power structure, but when you play the stock market, you assume risk. How much is up to each person. To paraphrase Warren Buffett, you only win or lose in the stock market when you sell.2 points

Unfortunately I couldn't beat a guy named Cael Sanderson. Lost to him in the 1991 Western Regional freestyle final (Boise, Idaho). Lost to him again at the NCAA tournament in 2001. The only solace is that he apparently beat everyone he wrestled.2 points

Tyler Graff ended up having the best overall accolades. I beat him in Greco and ended up wrestling him in freestyle at the same tournament, he punished me for beating him. other notable losses of mine are Matt Kyler, Brian Owen, Tyler Caldwell, and Tony Mustari. I had been teched multiple times in my wrestling career, but the way Tony Mustari teched me was brutal. He could have been charged with assault and nobody would have questioned it.2 points

Haven't seen an elite wrestler enjoy the journey as much as Snyder since Dave Schultz. Who else enters multiple events in a given month, let along a week like Snyder did last week? He'll have his ups and downs, like Dave did after 1984, but I'm not wishing him away anytime soon.2 points
