4 isn't as impressive in the last 5 years like it used to be. Before Downey was doing 5, and before Andrew Long was just an amateur transferee, Eddie McCray did 5. Brendt Noon, Mike Schmidlin, & Terry Ullom are some of the early leaders in the 4 team category. Some other 4 guys are Dustin May, Tyshawn White, Abner Romero, DeAndre Reed, Edwin Cooper, Justin Ransom, Cody Karstetter, and Jacob Mitchell. There are definitely more than that, but those are some quick ones I have data for.

I was going to clarify that he was a surprise AA, but I assumed we all knew that. My mistake. He was the 26 seed at NCAAs, he beat (7) Happel, (23) Fongaro, and (21) Edmonds to take 8th. He has looked to be on a different level this season.

His duck under's are so smooth and vintage OK State. He is a great scrambler and proficient in mat wrestling. IF he can put it all together he is going to be a major problem for anyone in the weight class (as we saw yesterday with Lamer and Stiles).

Such a bummer he didn't make nationals. He is phenomenal for the sport. I thought this was his year to put it all together the way he was top ranked all season.

No surprise, Trump is nothing more than a blowhard. He doesn't understand a single thing he's doing. All of his so-called "policies" are given to him to read. Remember when he signed the Executive Orders after the inauguration? Someone else had to explain what each was, because he had no idea. The oldest President ever elected. Older than Biden. His brain is mush. It's no wonder his entire family ditched him. Leaving their lucrative White House positions and running. President Musk is taking us in the wrong direction, while President "Mush" still doesn't get who pays tariffs.

I'm not rooting against us, but it's hard to see how this turns out positively. The whole point is Trump is supposed to use his business acumen to stabilize the economy. The problem is that this is a guy who is so awful at business that he's had to declare bankruptcy half a dozen times and managed to bankrupt no more than 3 casinos with his business instincts and leadership. Then to get things going he lays off or illegally fires a ton of federal employees, who's job is to keep the functioning government moving forward, and passes an economic plan that gives huge tax breaks to billionaires, instead of you know, regular people. It's hard to cheer on a guy who has open contempt for anyone who isn't rich or can do something for him.

Again it’s so very interesting to me when “don’t trust the media, don’t trust the government” is very very real….until it’s not.

HWTs don't get enough respect. By medals and longevity, Baumgartner is the US's best ever, but "moving brick walls" don't attract the admiration lightweights do.

If they end up anywhere other than Illinois ill be surprised.
