I didn't really post to relitigate the Sandusky situation. I just wanted to state without any question that Cael Sanderson is not a Pennsylvania freemason. Whether you think that is good or bad is up to you, but there is no masonic affiliation with Penn State Wrestling.

Do you report to your boss after hours or on off days? Just wondering. I'm not debating his innocence or guilt. I'm just saying you can't be responsible for what employees do in their off time.

The only thing I will say about any of this is Cael Sanderson is not a freemason in Pennsylvania. I can't speak to any other jurisdiction, but he isn't in PA 100%. Jerry Sandusky's only attachment to Penn State was as an employee. He created his charity which had no Penn State affiliation. Nobody was under the care of Penn State. That means whatever you think it means but the Penn State scandal was really a Jerry Sandusky crime and a Second Mile scandal. I know that this won't change anyone's opinion, but I don't hold the US Post Office responsible for David Berkowitz and his crimes.

A similar thing happened in the NHL. Through the 80's and earlier the coaching was so bad it was just throw guys out there and let them do their thing. Coaching improved and with that came tactics. Clogging zones, playing team defense and the like. It made coaches jobs safer but almost killed the game as the era of the Z trap was a boring product. Recently the games have seemed to improve. Some guys are counter wrestlers and some are edge wrestlers. I think the edge guys are a bigger problem. If you have a guy like Marcus Blaze that holds center but is only a counter wrestler can you compel him to take bad shots? It would be nice if there was no strategy and guys just came out and let it fly and maybe get pinned in 30 seconds, but I am not sure the sport should impose a style on the athletes. In F/S I don't see the shot clock raise action nor does the push out really do much. Guys still just wrestle their style. I would be nice to have an answer that would improve the product but in today's super technical awareness I don't see a path.

I think he learned a lot in is freshman year. He was a guy that was probably a little reckless and thought is speed would always prevail. This year his attacks were much more measured. Whether you think that is good or bad you can argue but he was a much more mature wrestler in 2025/26 than he was in 20204/25.

I'm all for studying want you find interesting and like. I was just commenting that certain majors can limit your earning potential.

I try not to judge anyone's course of study. Everybody wants to do something different. I wish I would have done something different. I have been a professional engineer for 30 years and have never loved a single day of it. Enjoy your education as long as you understand that majoring in Latin isn't going to help you pay down any debt you incur.

I know it is fun to joke but he was worthy of the award. 24-0 with 5 pins, 12 TF's, and 14 MD's. Add in an undefeated National Champion and he was worthy.

I think the big thing is if you have F/S aspirations. With NIL and RTC I look at it differently now. Coming out of high school you might think I am going to wrestle for another 12-years. Where do I want to do that. The idea of 4 or 5 seems to not even factor in to me.

I think the idea is to eliminate the T and T. Keep Tom at the helm and send Terry to the RTC. Let Terry focus on Sr. freestyle. I think this has been the answer all along. Get some new eyes but keep the core.

I am guessing Keuter doesn't really have a football option. If he does it is just to sit the bench and maybe special teams. B1G football doesn't have a spot for a guy dropping in and out. Beset he narrows his focus to wrestling.

I may be completely wrong about Iowa but I feel like it is Tom and Terry and helpers right now. If they would move Terry to the RTC head and bring in an assistant that is going to push for some change then I think Tom Brands can win again. Right now it seems from the outside Iowa is an echo chamber and change rarely occurs there. I would love to see 5 legitimate contending teams out there every year. I will say that is sports I generally like dynasties. I like inevitability of them winning and the rejoicing when the top dog loses.

a little surprised Cannon (157) was seeded as low as he was. I know he missed time but he was 18-2 and received an 8 seed. I also believe that Forest should not be #1 at 133 with only half a season of matches (13). Davino is 27-1 and arguably wrestled a much more difficult schedule. With this many guys there will always be nits to pick.

When you leave things up to the Ref sometimes things don't go your way. This is why you need to push your offense.
