  1. So is Amit . I would think Amit will have a pretty significant size/strength, but you are right… you can’t underestimate the Japanese women. They are incredible

  2. If everyone would be what they should be then we will be where we can be and what should've been will be what could've been and we'll no longer be unburdened by what coulda shoulda been. Vote Kamala Be President in 24!

  3. Holy shit. My heart is pounding from watching the 1500. Bobby Freakin Finke wire to wire (the complete opposite of his normal strategy) absolutely blitzes and burns out the field. New world record in the process. Wow. Wow. Wow.

  7. From Google's description of hallucinations: "An example of this would be an AI model designed to generate summaries of news articles may produce a summary that includes details not present in the original article, or even fabricates information entirely." Hmmm, sounds like makes shit up to me.

  9. He would sell tickets for home duals, that's for sure! Luke can't find a decent HWT or upper weight for that matter, it could help them. The Dallas Mavericks did it when they picked up Dennis Rodman. They needed to sell tickets and Neiman Marcus needed to sell dresses.

  10. It totally would, again I don't think he will make it a season anywhere, heck I don't think he wants to. but yeah. I guess I was just speaking on the fact that his talent/accomplishments are now being overshadowed by the personality. He's just too far removed from ruling the world to act like he rules the world.......Whoever was comparing it to Bassett above.... I mean one is a wholesome kid who competes as much as possible and is humble in victory and defeat...... and the other is a trash talking flexer, who's been chaotic everywhere he goes and hasn't completed a season in 3 years. What will he be a 23/24 year old Sophomore? Its' just not the same in any capacity. I mean if he doesn't compete this season can we stop entertaining it. I swear he'll be 43 posting videos about taking his talents to McKendree, flexing and double birding all us doubters, while teasing his jump to UFC as he beats up some waiter from Red Robin he paid 20bucks to throw on a headgear and spar with him. He simply needs to compete and show people what he can do, and the videos will feel more "Normal" or "Appropriate"

  11. My son is about to turn 5 and loves doing gymnastics. I swore to myself I’m not going to be a crazy wrestling Dad that puts pressure on him to do wrestling. He’ll pursue what he wants. But part of me hopes he develops all that core strength, flexibility etc in gymnastics and then starts wrestling. I can’t think of a better base foundation for wrestling.

  15. She won multiple statewide elections in the biggest state in the country, she became Vice President of the United States, she graduated law school, all legitimate accomplishment. Far more than most of us have accomplished. You can not like her policies, but lets live in the real world.

  17. I think he's got a better chance at beating Tazhudinov than Sadulaev. I know he was out of his mind at worlds last year, but Snyder just kept getting rolled through on his shots. I think if he just Wrestles a bit more conservatively, tries to grind him down... Or maybe I'm wrong and he'll affirm his WC with an OC. But, I like Snyder's chances.

  22. As more is coming out about this case, if the competitors are DSD it’s possible that it’s not simply higher levels of testosterone, but one where they are born with internal reproductive organs of both sexes. I don’t know if that’s the case here, but if so, it’s not the case of a biological female simply producing higher levels of testosterone. And not comparable to a basketball player that is 7 ft. I do an acknowledge the nuance and gray area of this situation as opposed to a Lia Thomas example. However, in a sport like boxing the stakes are much higher in the sense that someone with male strength (or even in between) fighting a woman is playing with fire. If these competitors are born with both male and female reproductive organs, I think it’s pretty clear they should not be in the ring with biological females.

  24. My eldest will turn 18 in September and vote for the first time. Her 18-19 year old friends are voting for Kamala because she is a woman (and not Trump). We talked about how all politicians have scandals, bad behaviors, and can be assumed to have compromised varying levels of beliefs plus ethics to maintain power and funding. Kamala, Biden, and Trump -- all have very bad unpresidential stories. I said that her friends and people like them are acting like idiots if they vote for someone because of identity rather than policy. It will be great when we have a woman president, with merit over identity. She filled out isidewith and learned about issues and views that she had never thought about. She now is more informed than most young voters. Living in a blue county, I was completely caught off guard that her views aligned stronger with Trump and less with Harris than me.

  32. For the guy telling people to kill themselves - lead by example and jump first we promise we ll follow you also the women in question was born with both sets of genitals(outside woman , inside man) and both set of chromosomes, she is female by definition (of Algeria standards atleast ) but has male organs internally that produce way higher levels of testosterone then the average female ..i personally don’t have an issue with her being a called a woman but if the extra testosterone is giving her an advantage then it’s pretty obvious she shouldn’t be in the Olympics , this may not be fair to the Algerian who worked hard to get here but that’s just life also agree with the poster who mentioned how members of society are paid to sow division in any opportunities that present themselves and they ve been working overtime with this situation now back to that punk ass bitch calling people hitler , sir you need help , please talk to a psychiatrist or a religious figure bc you have some real serious things going on in your head .. you should reflect on the fact you have extreme hatred and wish death on strangers and people you ve never met .. that’s honestly more hate and anger then any run of the mill “racist” or “bigot” even has

  33. no offense, you must not be much of an OSU fan. I know 4 kids that took recruiting visits to OSU and he was the host, one ended up going there. There was a lot of stuff that went on, that was never reported. Sexual, Drunk, wrecking a different car, etc. Look at Anthony, he was not in a car wreck, he is just as messed up if not worse. The crazy part to me, I get a long with his dad very well, and Angelo SEEMS to be different. Not perfect, but he seems to control his stuff better. I think it is time to just say, OSU sold their soul to get ferrari, they knew EXACTLY what they were getting.

  34. Well, there are lots of reasons. My cousin has a son who is 14 and already 6' 3". He loved basketball since he was five. Played one on one with him over the years and ran up the score knowing one day I'd be lucky to get a few buckets on him.

  35. Getting back on topic what I've been able to piece together on Imane is that she was born female & Algeria has strict or nonexistent transgender laws. How sporting agencies reconcile rare genetic mutations like Swyer syndrome is hard to answer. I'd lean to letting an athlete, in this case Imane, compete. Haven't read too much into the new title IX revisions but if it is true that it's as simple as just identifying as female to participate in sports then this should be reversed immediately.

  41. Even if it is pre-dehydration, he isn't going to walk around at 145lbs while waiting to go ~125.7lbs. He would walk around in the 140-143 weight and would pull off ~10lbs his last day. His senior year he was closer to ~138lbs rather than 140-143lbs. Even if you do the match at 138lbs, to be the same approximate amount of weight cut, he is going to be ~130.4lbs to weigh in at 57 KG (~125.7lbs). He is probably the most strict he has ever been on weight management. This is the Olympics and it is quite likely he won't try for it in 2028, so this is his one go of it.

  42. Dake has 2 World Titles at 79KG and 2 world titles at 74KG. The only reason the Olympics have more weight in fans minds is because they bring in more non wrestling fans, just like all of the Olympic sports except basketball and golf. No one pays attention to gymnastics or swimming until the Olympics either. Dake will be an Olympic champion and receive everything that comes with it, NBC coverage, Today Show, etc. No one will reference that Russia didn't show. If some losers on the internet want to say, well he won 4 world titles but his Olympic title isn't as great because Sidakov didn't participate. so what.
