Imagine having such deep deep feeling towards someone (in either direction) even though you’ve only ever seen them on TV and in reality has never done a single thing for you or too you .So much of a deep feeling you literally hate people who feel differently then you about the subject , then imagine having this feeling and fighting with your neighbors, family , co workers and complete strangers about for 8 straight years. When you step back and look it at like that y’all seem a little crazy no?4 points

The NCAA D1 removes cannabinoids from its banned drug class for championships and postseason football. “The NCAA drug testing program is intended to focus on integrity of competition, and cannabis products do not provide a competitive advantage,” Council chair and Illinois athletic director Josh Whitman said. “The council’s focus is on policies centered on student-athlete health and well-being rather than punishment for cannabis use.” Somewhere @WrestlingRasta is smiling.3 points

You are off point RV. You are mad at AIPAC because they gave money to Bowman's opposition and Bowman lost. But you are not made at Soros giving money to people who purposefully undermine the US justice system. Your issue is who is doing the campaign funding. You like Soros obviously, you don't like AIPAC obviously. So there is your line. One undermines US sovereignty by bastardizing the justice system (and I have seen that first hand here in Seattle), the other tries to siphon US dollars to Israel? I guess you can choose which is more evil. The choice is that easy. I choose the US justice system from allowing criminals to get released with no bail, from allowing criminals back on the streets to do more crime, etc. You get what we had with the Columbia student protesters that took over a building, destroyed part of it, held a janitor hostage, and got nothing from the DA Alvin Bragg. They obviously broke the law and were not held accountable. Now we see what happened in LA the other day where Hamas protesters went to a Jewish LA neighborhood, protested in front of the synogogue, and violently assaulted local Jews. It was so bad even Biden called it out. But that is what we get when we let this kind of thing go without legal repercussions. That is what Soros has brought to this country. AIPAC for all the ill they supposedly do have not done that. The amount of harm wreaked by the DAs funded by Soros far outweighs any benefits he may provide for their reach is vast. You gave in to my BS I see so it was not BS. It is well documented what Soros has done. You want this to be about AIPAC. But you chose to frame it in a campaign funding attack. I am giving you an example of campaign funding that has far further reach than what AIPAC is doing and it is harming this country. mspart2 points

I would be willing to bet that Pitt-Johnstown is closer to the top-10 than eliminated in the next round. One, he lives there; two, his father is the head coach of Bishop McCort located in, you guessed it, Johnstown; and three, his longtime club coach at Young Guns, Jody Strittmatter, is an assistant coach at Pitt-Johnstown. Young Guns, btw, is HQ’d in Ebensburg, less than 30 minutes from Bassett’s front door in Johnstown.2 points

Are you saying Jamaal "I pulled the fire alarm interrupting a congressional session because I thought it would open a door" Bowman is a benefit to US citizens? Why isn't George Latimer a benefit to US citizens? Who are you to tell the voters who they should vote for. After that stunt Bowman pulled the other day trying to look gangsta and all that, no wonder he got destroyed in the primary. If Bowman was a great guy he would have won no matter the expenditure. The guy is a clown and rightfully lost. mspart2 points

This debate has a lot at stake, even Ds say so. If Biden looks as horrible as those on the right say, that he has no mental or physical stamina, then Ds will have to find a new candidate. That's what this debate has for us. I think if Trump looks horrible like CNN will no doubt try to do, the Rs have no choice but to go with Trump as he has won most all the primaries. I guess the delegates could choose someone else but doubtful. But this is make or break for Biden. That's why he has taken a full week off of duties to prep for this. This has never been done in the history of debates. Biden must need a lot of help if he has to take a full week off. Now I would do so, just to go to camp david for a whole week. What a place to go to!! mspart2 points

All Trump has to say is, at least I was strong enough and was healthy enough to go through a sham trial. Joe, they said you were to old and feeble to even go through a trial. So, they decided to let the 80 felony charges slide.1 point

In the 90 minute debate how, many times will Jake hit the mute button? How many softball questions will Jake and Dana ask Joe? We all know the marching orders for Jake and Dana, Make Joe looks as good as possible and to make Donald look as incompetent and unhinged as possible. This will be a joke of a debate.1 point

Doesn’t the Northern Colorado comment kinda contradict your first sentence? I agree it makes him less valuable, but imo it kinda just pushes the tier of teams potentially looking at him down. It’s likely teams that would not normally have a shot at the podium or top 10, and if they have 1 other stud then that person + Ferrari alone could get them in or near the top 10. Although perusing wrestlestat there really aren’t many guys from mid to lower-tier schools ranked in the top 3-5. Here are a few possibilities imo (and I have no idea if any of these teams are interested): Lock Haven (Noto) Ohio (Kellar) SDSU (Devos/Berge + some other likely point scorers)1 point

sorry WKN, just seeing this. my experience in crypto has been....idk...seasonal. i get in to it more in the summer when i have some downtime. i've played around with a bunch of alt coins with modest purchases but have really only invested significant amounts in ETH. As far as RAE, I'm a believer in it. That being said, the situation with it right now, actually, is probably the worst. It halved a few months back and the price still hasn't gone to where it should. But it is 'stable' unlike so many coins. And the reason I believe in it is b/c it has real world application: the economy of a Rokfin wherein money comes in and goes out. The number of cryptocurrencies which are practical, and not theoretical/speculative is almost nil. Trading RAE, as you mentioned, was/is limited. it used to be more difficult but there 1) it's now on uniswap and 2) there are liquidity pools which mitigate transaction costs.1 point

the main goal is to make their exports cheaper to increase international trade while making imports more expensive so money stays in the country. paired with intense government spending cuts to reduce the deficit. a major criticism of this strategy is that it concentrates wealth at the top. the rich who own the exports make money from increased trade. the regular people who buy imports lose money. in theory, the wealth is supposed to eventually trickle down, but that’s never totally worked the way it “should.” another hallmark of shock therapy is the selling of government assets to the rich for pennies on the dollar. the offload puts money in the bank and reduces the overall spending profile long term, but it also continues to concentrate wealth at the top as the rich gain extremely valuable assets for little to nothing. this is the origin of the russian oligarchs. it’s a hard strategy to stomach morally. nearly all of the burden is born by the poor and middle classes. it has extreme material effects on people. one of the largest collapses in life expectancy in recorded history was in the soviet union when they transitioned to capitalism through shock therapy.1 point

Not sure what that is so don't know what you are referring to. If you look at Germany ramping up to war with Adolf Hitler in charge you can see a lot of it in Donald Trump and his actions and speech. Marginalize groups and make them targets. There is only one truth, yours... no matter what reality is. Everyone who is not for you is an enemy and using the legal system to try and destroy you. Trump is dangerous and those who cheer him on are dumber than Mormons.1 point

Not too long ago, the Andrew Long / PSU situation wasn't too different... Andrew had plenty of issues in Ames, but since he wasn't a returning NC, it didn't get the same amount of attention on the national level as AJ. Also Andrew wasn't on social media and in your face the same way as AJ was/is. But to circle back... team race was open and a certain coach needed those extra points to secure the team title that year... and guess what program rolled the dice...1 point

And that is the problem. You don't care how others feel. You don't care that you are in the minority. But you should care about the permanent bodily injuries the surgeries and chemicals do to minors. But you don't because you are uncaring. It is not noble to allow someone without proper judgement to do something that will harm themselves. That is the height of cruelty. mspart1 point

One million percent. We sound like those old people yelling at me in the 90s for listening to rap music. times move on, the young people of every generation are going to have their own thing, lets try to be better than previous older generation and just recognize IT' S NOT FOR US, we don't have to scream that the Devil is in Elvis' gyrating hips or whatever. That's ok, lol.1 point

Like I said, you (and leftists everywhere) want me to not believe what I see and experience. Good luck with that. mspart1 point
-
TPT There have been no transphobic rants here by anyone. The concern is that you have minors saying they are trans and getting anti puberty drugs which sterilize, surgery which changes things about the body for life. Are minors really emotionally mature enough to make these decisions? If you think so, then it should be legal for them to drink, drive, pay their own way, vote, and buy guns. Obviously those are non starters. So is the transitioning of minors with surgery and chemicals that affect their bodies and well being for life. The surgeries are irreversible. The puberty blockers can cause irreversible sterility. Those don't seem like supportable or sustainable ideas. This should not be political, and I don't think it really is. But leftists have taken this as a cause celebre for some reason and have made this political because no one else supports this. https://www.washingtonpost.com/education/2023/05/05/trans-poll-gop-politics-laws/ Clear majorities of Americans support restrictions affecting transgender children, a Washington Post-KFF poll finds, offering political jet fuel for Republicans in state legislatures and Congress who are pushing measures restricting curriculum, sports participation and medical care. Most Americans don’t believe it’s even possible to be a gender that differs from that assigned at birth. A 57 percent majority of adults said a person’s gender is determined from the start, with 43 percent saying it can differ. And some Americans have become more conservative on these questions as Republicans have seized the issue and worked to promote new restrictions. The Pew Research Center found 60 percent last year saying one’s gender is determined by the sex assigned at birth, up from 54 percent in 2017. Even among young adults, who are the most accepting of trans identity, about half said in the Post-KFF poll that a person’s gender is determined by their sex at birth. mspart1 point
