VakAttack Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Ladies and gents, it's that time of year! As the great poets Webbie and Lil Phat said, if if was a fifth, we'd all be drunk, but before we get slammed, it's time for some fantasy wrestling! This is a thing we've been doing, and this is a Vak & @lu_alum production! Let's start off with reaching out to our previous year's contestants, and they will have first dibs, followed by the participants in the second league bumping up to the premier league if we have openings. I'm letting you know right now, if you don't respond by bracket day, you're out and we're hitting the waiting list! So let me know if you're in? Last year's premier league participants: @JvStateChamp1 @Truzzcat lu_alum @nhs67 @Perry @BruceyB @steamboat_charlie @Idaho @Gage VakAttack - in @RockLobster @flyingcement @MizzouFan01 @killdozer Second league participants: @Kov88 @crzyctldy @MM2018 @jajensen09 nhs67 lu_alum killdozer @Cornell Kevin @charmon55 @scorenomore Let me know if if you're in or out. A non-answer will be taken as "out." We can try to do two leagues again if there's enough interest. Let me know in this thread, not via DM. We'll set up draft dates and such at a later time. Let's do it! "You are a voice of reason." - @Paul158 ""David Taylor has a stupid face." - Cael Sanderson (probably)" - @VakAttack
lu_alum Posted March 6 Posted March 6 @mattramosjr @Rassling @mr.nonothingatall @PD3Peat @WrestlingFan0730 Since you guys weren't in previous contests, you were not listed in @VakAttack's OP. Be sure to let him know if you are definitely interested.
flyingcement Posted March 6 Posted March 6 if we have a second league this year, I might have interest in that one as well
VakAttack Posted March 6 Author Posted March 6 It's come to my attention my initial list was incomplete. If you i missed you, let me know, like @MPhillipsdid, who is of course welcomed. "You are a voice of reason." - @Paul158 ""David Taylor has a stupid face." - Cael Sanderson (probably)" - @VakAttack
nhs67 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I am in and can be for both, to fill numbers. "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
nhs67 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I think we should let @Antitroll2828in and expand to 15 in the Premier League. His reason for absence last year was extraordinary. "I know actually nothing. It isn't even conjecture at this point." - me
Hammerlock3 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 whats the format? "Half measures are a coward's form of insanity."
lu_alum Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) I'm making a couple posts as an update. Below is a summary of the participants that I've seen in this thread. Hammerlock3 asked about format - I'll post a second message to explain how the whole thing works. If you are seriously interested and haven't checked in yet (in this thread or DM to @VakAttack or me), please do so by Tuesday evening (midnight ET). The NCAA seeds/brackets are announced at 8pm ET Wednesday night. The hardest part is finding a mutually convenient time to do the draft. VakAttack facilitates the draft order and I log the picks on the draft board, so our availability usually drives the date/time of the draft. I've live in Vegas (Pacific Time), so 'after work' for me is after 8pm ET on a weeknight. I don't mind starting early in the AM over the weekend. @BruceyB @flyingcement @Gage @Idaho @JvStateChamp1 @killdozer @MizzouFan01 @MPhillips @nhs67 @Perry @RockLobster @steamboat_charlie @Truzzcat @charmon55 @Cornell Kevin @crzyctldy @jajensen09 @Kov88 @MM2018 @scorenomore @Antitroll2828 @PD3Peat @jross @BaldAt23 @GreatDane67 @Hammerlock3 @mattramosjr @Rassling @mr.nonothingatall @WrestlingFan0730 Edited March 9 by lu_alum
