    Bo looked amazing today and his win over the Russian was epic. I stand corrected and am excited for tomorrow’s match - will be offense vs defense.

    1 - I really like Bo and all that he does for his faith and the sport. 2 - The video reminded me of Mike Grey pushing Yanni before some big competition that I can't remember. Both videos just felt off. I hope I'm wrong and Bo goes out and wins seniors and nationals!

    I want the best for Bo - he is a great ambassador. I have questions about VT and that video did not help any. If that was the right way to get ready for worlds, everyone would be doing it!

    Good point and I haven't thought of it that way. He did have a close match with Hepner from UNC and Hepner is a big 165 so there is some data there. I think MM still wins but bonus rate could drop a bit.

    Body language here in the gym, Real didn’t look confident and looked like he had a bad cut. Almost like whatever he had took longer than expected to get back on the mat.

    Also heard he did little practicing as well. PSU wins, Okie St / Nebraska 2nd / Iowa/Ohio State/ VT 4th. Only team that could really benefit would be VT. Otherwise just a lot of drama to be off the podium doesn't make sense.

    Crazy thought - but with Davino taking some losses to Forest and Blaze, could he consider dropping to 125? Solved a lot of lineup problems and gives him a better shot at a title

    Stealing? If you have a good relationship with your kids then they are happy about it. if you understand the time value of money, graduating with no debt and $100K in the bank is life changing!

    i haven't done it, but in today's world, I'd call it great parenting. 5 for 5 is coming and with NIL, you could literally set a high-performing kid up for a full ride plus 25-50k per year.

    I think the coaching tree is a positive. Indicates that Iowa developed talent that other schools valued. Not sure that many schools can match that type of graduation and employment in the coaching ranks. I think it might even be higher than the great Penn State!

    well toss ups have to go somewhere? No way 184 is a toss up and I sided with the champs at 133, 149 and 157. Definitely room for discussion at 141 and 149 but until we see Desmond in the fall and Vega at 149 it's hard to predict. Bottom line though is if Rocco went to OSU, OSU would be really in the mix and potentially the favorite.

    When Rocco was looking to leave Ohio State, he was seriously considering going to OSU. It wasn't clear how big of a deal that was at the time, but now seeing Ryder, it is clear that Rocco is superior and would tip the scales in OSU's favor. https://tinyurl.com/2d578h8p
