My grandfather was on the 1961 Lock Haven High School team with Mike Johnson. He also said Mike was never taken down in HS. There were 4 PIAA state champs on that team and another that finished 4th. It's solutionism at its worst. This kind of thing happens so rarely. It isn't like there's a run on people switching or claiming to switch genders to win at sports. I think enough people have common sense to know if they did that, they'd get laughed at and ostracized if that was their sole motivation. Also transgender athletes really don't have much, if any of an advantage anyway.
