No consensus. But his mom is very unhappy with a couple of posters, so who knows.2 points

Probably Jack Spates former coach, he usually does their announcing. If the guys of old Gable, Hodge, Uetake etc had the resources of today they would beat athletes of today. Those guys were special.2 points

Carl has a plan. It probably doesn't include growing college wrestling.2 points

I am not all that surprised that you play the self-righteous angle. Then again, I am also not overly surprised at your stance and your attack on me and your defense of Saint Fauci.2 points

You are !00 percent correct. But Biden has pardoned him. This is a sad day for America for justice.2 points

I looked at them too. Their total is 48 (1, 4, 1, 12, 6, 1, 1, 12, 5, 5). The 2020 Iowa team had a lower total, 45 (1, 6, 7, 1, 8, 1, 2, 11, 5, 3)2 points

Vak - You have mostly been reasonable when making comment on legal type things. This is not a good start of the year for that record. mspart2 points

This!! I'll never get over the fact that he caused so many kids/young adults to miss out on once in a lifetime events (sports, graduation, etc.), how he devastated small businesses, and how people couldn't be there for the death/birth of loved ones. He should be sued into the poor house along with all the state agencies who followed and enacted his crazy mandates.2 points

He won 88lbs in Fargo the same year that Dom Bradley won HWT then went on to beat Dom Bradley at HWT WTT. Furthermore Zillmer had said on many occasions, when asked about Steveson's potential return, that making 97 KG wouldn't be an issue were that to come up and that he was in the 225-230 range.2 points

Also, what a dumb statement by that guy lol. They made the title game because they prayed more than the other teams? First of all how does he even know that? Second of all I didn’t realize religion was a competition2 points

With the context of the whole thing now made plain to see for everyone, It is interesting that we are still on about this. What has Elon done in his life that makes you think he would be a nazi sympathizer? mspart1 point

Surprised this has not come up. This okokzach guy joined (12/16/24) right when that sailors tiny wily guy stopped posting. Pretty good chance they’re the same guy?1 point

I am sitting here and pondering the amount of damage this man and his co-conspirators did to the US and probably the world. Stuff that goes beyond creating the virus. Stuff that happened during and because of lockdowns. This is by no means a comprehensive list. - Businesses failed and are continuing to do so -decline of numerous mental health markers for the entire society - increased suicide rates, especially amongst young people - increased substance abuse stats including OD deaths and addiction. - increase in homelessness - Social isolation and all the negatives that come with it for old and young alike. My mother's Alzheimer's seemed to rapidly accelerate during lockdowns. - Kid's ability to socialize, read social cues, etc. has not been developed. Anecdotal: High school kids are way less emotionally mature than before 2020. - Ability to read and write amongst school children has been drastically diminished. Etc., etc., etc. This is stuff that I see every day. All from a couple years of various types of lockdowns and masking. The guy and his ilk had no clue as to what he was doing. He was winging it and the country, particularly children, suffered and continue to do do. He didn't even follow his own rules. Then he perjured himself. Of course he needed a pardon.1 point

Wrestlestat has some unique views on a couple of teams. Iowa - they have Teemer out for the year. Meanwhile he is listed on the team sheet for Friday. Oklahoma State - they penalized Spratley much more than the other two for his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week. Ohio State - they remain very optimistic about Nic Bouzakis', Sammy Sasso's, and Nick Feldman's prospects. Cornell - they still have Greg Daikomihalis at #5 in spite of reports that he is out for the year (Intermat has him #17, Flo removed him).1 point

Like we didn't see this coming? Bastida isn't seeing a whiff of that top Hwt step this year with the current "Hammers" at the top. I certainly don't want to see "INJURED" wrestlers doing more harm to their bodies, but please don't tell me that the injury exemption isn't getting gamed to the absolute max to put athletes in more advantageous scenarios to find the podium. Please bring back a 5 yr window of eligibility, regardless of your circumstances. Now that money incentives are on the table, along with a "toothless" NCAA because of the current state of ongoing litigation, the system just encourages programs mailing in one season to prepare for the next. Hard to be a loyal fan, and travel to home matches, etc... when you know this is what is going on. Injuries happen, and maybe it's just me, but seems like we are seeing waaaay too many season ending injuries.1 point

Ya. The hero of the left at one point. When he was more blue. Who invented the solution to climate change. Has been playing the super long con as a hidden nazi. Makes sense. The media didn’t even edit the video down to take his words out of his speech to make it look more. Propaganda like.1 point

You are just repeating the word team over and over again and saying it has meaning in one context but not the other for unclear reasons. For example, you imply in a dual the wins and losses are not determined at the individual level. But they are. The score in a dual is just the sum of the individual results translated into a scoring system, just like basketball. And unlike in basketball, none of your teammates are assisting you in any way while you compete alone. In wrestling you can have a dual meet in 10 separate locations and just add up the results. You cannot do that in a true team sport. I am not against anything. But claiming a dual championship is somehow superior to a tournament ignores that team is artificial in wrestling. And as an aside, how does Aaron Brooks come in 18th at last year's NCAA? That one really confuses me.1 point

I'm in the minority here but I don't think national duals will be as popular as the hardcore wrestling junkies like ourselves think they'll be.1 point

It was enough to prompt Biden to offer a pardon. But it won’t protect him from State or civil suits. It actually puts him in a box. He can be brought in for further questioning, under oath, without the ability to claim 5th Amendment rights against self incrimination.1 point

That’s right. Covid 19 was engineered and created to be deadly, it didn’t evolve from natural mutation. The common cold is also a coronavirus and people still die from it every year. But it is neither feasible nor desirable to develop a vaccine or inoculate for it. Immunology and nature need to take their course. Even the early strains of Covid 19 weren’t very deadly for healthy people, but combined with the wrong medical procedures, were deadly to the already compromised. My instruction in microbiology and immunology was a long time ago, but I recognized that everything that was pushed by the government , from masking, to shutdowns, to vaccinations, flew in the face of what we were taught. In fact, it closely resembled what was laid out in the Great Barrington Declaration. Which was shunned by the government and Pharma.1 point

So what the naysayers are saying is that they don't believe in science , that there are males and females. That they have different bodies and abilities both physically, mentally, and temperamentally. This is not an important thing for them to be discussion or for the President to discuss. Yet, when Biden tried to dictatorially change Title IX to have men become women, non here complained that he was taking important time talking about a nothing burger. Only when Trump comes in and changes that dynamic are there complaints. Science says there are male and female mammals, reptiles, fish, etc. They are all science deniers with regard to humans specifically. And they are all hypocrites as detailed above. mspart1 point
