So here is my pipe dream event for this coming season, a quad with....Penn State, Okie State, Iowa, Iowa State. Each team gets 3 duals in a single day! The name of the event...The Fans Duals! Great to see this. Any time an academy can get someone of this quality on their staff it’s a big gain for them. Spent two years wrestling at USNA as a wrestling room dummy in the mid 70s, but had HOF’er Ed Peery as HC and Captain Lloyd Keaser as AC as he prepped for the 76 Olympics. Only way for academies to compete is initial recruiting and coaching. Obviously no transfers coming in, and can’t imagine how they can utilize NIL to recruit - all we have to recruit is Top Gun 1 and 2.

The Cary and Barry show is about to take off. I have known BD since he was a senior in high school and his passion for the sport is as high as it gets. I think this is a great coaching staff full of wisdom and enthusiam. As an old sailor (not at the Academy but in the regualar navy) myself, I am happy for the program.

To me this seems like a waste of money. Light up the bridges with white lights like a normal road and be done with it. He's not the same guy he was when he started coaching back in the 80's. I guarantee he's less intense than he was when he retired. Expectations will be lower at Navy, and he'll be working at one of the most beautiful campuses in the USA under a great technical coach in Kolat. I reckon you couldn't find a more experienced assistant head coach in the country, except for maybe Terry Brands.

Davis and Kolat sat together at the Olympic trials last month. They seemed like old friends. Davis seemed to be having a good time. There were a lot of Navy wrestlers there with Kolat too. Having seen that this makes a lot of sense

I'm excited to see Gunderson again feels like he should be the favorite after his showing at the LCQ which is kind of wild to say considering he has not been varsity yet. Also, very excited to see vincent robinson was a huge fan of his when he was in high school absolute freak athlete, and it seems like he's committed to 125 which is interesting.

I find it rich that people find it acceptable for the federal government to just show up at one person's house in the early dawn with 50-armed law enforcement officers, unannounced. There are also police boats in the water. Just to pick up some boxes with papers. I WONDER WHY the federal agents in January of 2022 did not take ALL the boxes with them. But they only took a few boxes and told President Trump to put a BETTER LOCK on the door to the room. Then in another similar situation there are papers in boxes in office at a college in a closet, in a person's garage at their house and at a beach house and the same federal government ask and makes an appointment to come by to just look around. Now appointment was made days in advance of the visit.

When every media outlet comes out with some interesting facts on how this administration is weaponizing all of our federal agencies I think we should be able to talk about it. People, Gable Steveson is not going to play in the NFL. He knows it and if he doesn't then the NFL does. Hopefully he will wrestle again. I expect he will. It's the thing he can make the most money doing. It's also a noble pursuit with respect to which he is the best in the world, whereas he will not be particularly good, let alone great, at anything else he does. That is not an insult; instead it is a commentary on how good he is at wrestling.

I thought the same thing with them doing this in college this year. I was wondering if there would be a lot of challenges both ways trying to get a point or get one taken off. However, I did not see any and there were honestly very few 3 counts as most were 2 or 4 with little to no complaints.
