Always pull for NB. At 125 he assumes he can overpower his opponent, and didn’t work out this time. Hopefully in his final year he can sort it out at a different weight.

Casual fan, watch what is available on BTN and ACCN and read this forum, but I have been day drinking, so … There are cases for everyone not included, but in wrestling it is also the hardest to justify near misses due to the numbers. With approximately 77 D1 wrestling programs and 33 making it to the championship, that’s 43% of wrestlers making the championship. But if you just invite all 77 (everyone is happy) what does that add, one extra round with a few more pigtails.

Looked like the perfect tactic that all can emulated here on out. AF goes down onto knee, put hand on his head to keep distance, until he has to come up to wrestle. Why did this take so long to figure out? But I never got beyond being D1 practice dummy. And my lack of knowledge is indicated by my huge comment number.

Another one for the light weight crowd. Frosh - 98 Soph/junior - 105 Senior - 119 College (plebe/soph) - practice dummy, so never had a true weigh in.

Wrt Hendrickson, he may be able to continue in the Air Force’s World Class Athlete program. All services have one, and beating an Olympic Gold Medalist might help with that. Since Naval Academy grad David Robinson, the services have continued to improve opportunities for service members to pursue athletic endeavors. Very good for recruiting. Almost as good as Top Gun has been for Naval Aviation.

Would like to see Ayala win a title before he’s done.

Well, Nash Hutmacher gave it a one year go last year for them. Wonder if he is done with wrestling for good.

While I would like Vinesh to be rewarded for her performance to that point, I believe no competitor would want to win a gold medal on a forfeit.
