One of the more petty things I've done at the old board (Dec. 09-Oct. 12, just to clarify) was to actually put the word on the banned list. Every derivative was ****'ed out. People snuffed that one out immediately. I had to removed d*ck from the banned words list, because the default word kept changing Mike Zadick to Mike Zathingy.

Believe there have been times in the past where you could get the P12 video thru the ASU schedule at match time for free, but it seems you never know till the match actually starts. Quentin Wright was seeded 9th and 2nd the two years he won it = 5.5 Mark Branch was seeded 1st one year and unseeded the other year he won. There were 12 seeds that year + 1 = 13, 29 in bracket = 21 for him if I am following your math for that year = average of 11 seed. anyone who won multiple with one being unseeded I think will skew this pretty heavily... I'd be surprised if there is a 3x champ with higher average that Rosholt.

It does seem like Iowa has a lot, but you could look at a number of other programs and they have had their share. Perhaps not as highly publicized? For instance, Minnesota always seems to be heavily taped up at the end of the year; Penn State has had plenty, too. (Nolf, Cassar, Kerkvliet, Berge, Berge, Starocci, Howard, Howard, Rasheed, Suriano, etc.) (Maybe we don't think about the PSU injuries as much because they have been doing more winning as individuals and as a team?) Cornell as well. Maybe we are seeing more injuries due to the extra (Covid) year? Another year of D1 wear and tear is probably a lot for many of these kids. As far as the all-star meet: Is it like in years past? In the past, the matches did not count toward seeding. If that is the case, why bother pushing an injury?

Possible we see a rematch of the 2022 65kg world final at this world cup. Amouzad is on the list for those invited to the training camp for this event.

Understood and agreed on the latter part. Perhaps I'm simply overreacting but it seems like going on for about 10 years now the hawks have at least 1 major injury each year. It feels like more than any other team but that's why I posed the question in the first place -because I don't know for certain. Maybe WKN can crunch the injury stats for us
