MizzouFan01 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 I could see the winner of the first match ducking the conference finals with a MFF. Won’t hurt seeding and still undefeated.
JLStock Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Well - Match is on Flo. Just hope we get to watch the match live

They could at least do something like counting a MFF as a loss only in the championship bracket.

Gus Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Is there a history of KOT or Carr ducking any top tier opponents? Both guys seems like warriors that are supremely confident in their abilities. I cannot imagine being as good as Carr or KOT (NCAA Champions & Jr World Champions) and wanting to sit out against the best guys. I don't think that KOT or Carr are wired that way. They both seem very humble, grounded and find their identity in their faith - not winning or losing. 1

It doesn't matter if they are 4th string teammates because the Cyclones never back down! They will keep fighting down to The Last Chance! 2 2 i am an idiot on the internet

You seem to be making the erroneous assumption that all these ducks recently are driven by the wrestler’s preferences. They most assuredly are not. The coaches alone make these ducking decisions. KOT, Carr, or the 75th ranked guy, doesn’t matter, they all want to compete against the best. Only coaches play these games.

For example, Smith held KOT out of the scuffle where he could have hit Griffith.
fishbane Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Carr is 84-2 for his career and O'Toole is 56-1, combined 140-3 (0.979) with one title a piece. Dake and Taylor: Taylor was 70-1 with one title and Dake 100-4 with three titles at their first meeting (All Star). Combined 170-5 (.971). 2

Dark Energy Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Wow wow wow. Carr looked awesome!! Solid win. Won TD battle and rode Keegan with seeming ease. Wow. 1
VakAttack Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Carr was flawless, incredibly impressive. 1
SocraTease Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Wow, so much for the crowd vote for KOT, who didn't have much for Carr tonight. Surprised me that he couldn't escape 1
Gus Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Carr looks like a big 165 at this point in the season. His length presented a lot of challenges for KOT.
