It actually does. You can't engage with a guy on one knee without giving him easy scoring opportunities. You walk up to him and he's already at the level to shoot below your knee meanwhile you have nothing to shoot at at all.

How can he stall when Festiva spent the whole match on one knee? It was one-way, Rocco would have loved to actually wrestle but he wasn't given the chance.

Gotta feel for Iowa here, six dual losses is a lot. Every top program has to take some losses from time to time. Just look at PSU, they lost six duals too it's taken twelve years but it still hurts.

After Rocco beat Festiva in tiebreakers everything I read was how boring it was and how both wrestlers were at fault. Supposedly Festiva AND Rocco never try to score and are boring wrestlers. How is it possible that Rocco (who doesn't have any offense) can go out and major a returning AA and top-10 guy like Silas Allred? Rocco has a 67% bonus rate this season, maybe we should lay the blame for boring wrestling where it belongs and admit it's the guy who backs up and wrestles on one knee the whole time?

Stalling makes no sense at all. Poulin obviously stalled in the 2nd by just hanging on but he spent way less time doing that than Spratley did backing up in the 3rd.

It's funny how people discount meaningless wins at this point in the season but come March they'll say somebody should have a worse seed because they didn't wrestle enough matches. I'd rather see a guy go 12-0 against ranked opponents than 30-0 with no top ten wins.
