You know if the citizens and mayor of Chicago cooperated with the federal Ice agents this could quite smoothly and be done in a matter of weeks. Crime would down in the city. The cities Resources could be used clean up their own City. They could be arresting their own criminals. They could be making their own city safer for their own citizens. Just some commonsense ideas.3 points

Yeah, I still miss our dogs. We had 3 black labs. The first got run over on the highway at 4 years old. He was an incredibly smart dog. They are all buried on our property. mspart2 points

This is based on two kids who have never wrestled a college match. PSU, hate them as much as I do, is packed from top to bottom with proven college wrestlers. Damn good ones. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is dethroning them in 2 to 3 years.2 points

Jonathan Turley asks this in his blog. https://jonathanturley.org/2025/10/08/chicago-mayor-brandon-johnson-calls-for-the-arrest-of-ice-officers/ Turley says the following. I'd like to know where he gets any of this wrong: 1. The federal government has its own jurisdictional authority and can enter city and private property in pursuit of lawful operations. In terms of “staging” operations, the Constitution, not Brandon Johnson, protects citizens from having their property seized or used for the quartering of troops. 2. Most importantly, the City of Chicago cannot arrest federal officers who are conducting federal operations. This point was correctly noted earlier by Chicago Police Supt. Larry Snelling, who said that CPD officers will not arrest federal law enforcement, “because someone deems what they are doing is illegal.” 3. The federal government has the right to enforce these laws to deport individuals. Congress passed these laws and, if these politicians oppose them, they can seek to rescind deportation laws in the democratic system. (mspart adds that federal law supercedes state or city laws with regard to immigration enforcement, there is a thing called the supremacy clause. Article 6 Clause 2 states, "This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding" ) Since Turley is a toady of the right, where does he have any of this wrong? mspart1 point

I think it's definitely Lehigh or Mizzou and it laregely depends on the backside draw. Arizona St is possibly the weakest (the Larkins are something though). Little Rock is too top heavy. Wyoming I feel is the middle of the 5 but far from Lehigh and Mizzou1 point

I hope he can because I think the team is better with him at 157 but also because I think there is a better than zero % chance he can win a natty daddy at 157 this year.1 point

I think I probably should have said the same for Jalolov I think recency bias was very prevalent for me there. It felt like Jalolov had hit another gear at seniors however Sujeet can certainly beat him and anybody at the weight. Easily the weight I am the most excited for I just worry a bit about him making 65kg back to back days 5 times in a year when he has never done it more than twice.1 point

Impeding is not protesting. Impeding is dangerous to all involved AND ILLEGAL!! It is quite a strange leftie notion that "protesting" includes that ability to stop others from going about their personal lives or conducting their professional duties. It is quite a strange leftie notion that "protesting" includes physically intimidating and assaulting people for going about their lives - such as Jewish students walking to class. You may protest (i.e. petition the government and let your opinion be known publicly with the intention of changing policy or opinions without sanction) but you may not interfere with anyone's personal or professional life doing so. If the public and law enforcement agents can move about without being impeded then nothing happens to the protesters. The choice is the protesters'.1 point

flo has zinkin at 100 I believe and hes much closer to 10 than he is 100. I would not have amato at #3 right now but he is certainly a top 10 guy.1 point

yep. and they were allowed to stay. until... security measures had to be taken, then made more stringent, then more stringent, then they gave gaza back, then, and then, and then, and it's still not enough1 point

The convo's on this thread have gone off track so I'll finally answer your question JC. With Melvin & Bo in the lineup this year they'll place top 3. Iowa will finish outside the top 101 point

Yeah. I said I think they have a better shot at advancing than the other lotto teams. I'm not predicting they beat NC State, and like I said it's unclear which brackets feed into the second round of consis so I don't know that they could even get matched up with NC State. Which lotto team do you think advances that furthest?1 point

Alex nini of Rutgers if he does not get the spot (wrestlestat has Oliveri but I think Nini is much better) Matty lopes lehigh. Stuck behind Crookham did wrestle some 125 last year and wrestle Seymour very competitive not sure what he does next year I think 125 is probably too much of a pull by then if it is not already but if Crookham gets hurt he will be a very good fill in. Gage walker Missouri. I expect a big second year jump at what I think is the better weight for him would not be shocked if they pull the shirt because he's just better than Moore. Ethan Birden ohio state, I am guessing Paddy gets the nod to start the year. Birden beat henckel at the 2023 ironman and lost a close one to Lockett and Ferrari (insane bracket). He needs offense on his feet and if he has found it he is a problem for everyone.1 point

Chris Wilson. Wilson defeated Fadzaev twice, most notably at the 1990 Goodwill Games, where he won by points. According to a profile in Sports Illustrated from 1992, Wilson was the only wrestler to have defeated Fadzaev at that point in his career.1 point
