I understand that kids who are held back are still eligible per the rules, I just think it's somewhat recent development that I don't like. I finished my sophomore year of college wrestling when I was still 19 years old. Didn't turn 20 for several more months.
This is based on two kids who have never wrestled a college match. PSU, hate them as much as I do, is packed from top to bottom with proven college wrestlers. Damn good ones. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is dethroning them in 2 to 3 years.
I did not. I guess I probably will at a certain point in time. The people who have pushed this the hardest are crappy human beings and the politics behind is a joke.
I'm not defending anything. If it happened, so be it, and people will get paid. What I do know is there are numerous people who have claimed to have been abused that were not because they want to get paid.
And the guy who started this whole thing had a fund raiser for a dead Buckeye wrestler's family and reportedly stole the money. He was a Marine who died in Iraq.
