I second above- it really depends. I remember in 2018 USAW called me about being team translator for Greco for their camp which was held in a small city named Tata, about 50km outside of Budapest, to which I responded, "Wait, we have a Greco team?" I didn't get a second call back! haha! I bring this up because I vaguely remember their camp starting 3 weeks before the actual tournament (Budapest, Hungary), but it varies year to year based on a bunch of factors.4 points

yep, this is spot on. Here is one for you. They let Iowa State use the room before the OSU duals, or maybe big 12's, not sure on that. But, they worked out in the evening, and then the next AM, Kish had told Dresser he could use the facilties again. Iowa St shows up, and doors are locked. Someone had Buchanan's number and asked if he would come up and le them in. He did. While he was letting them in, Kish pulls up and starts dog cussing Dresser telling him to stop trying to poach his wrestlers. Dresser was like, WTF? I was trying to get my guys in here to warm up. Bad blood ever since. THAT is Roger Kish. complete D*ck and feels like he is better than everyone. I am not an OSU fan, I actually cannot stand OSU, but I tip my cap to DT. That dude is humble, and people are starting to love him more and more.4 points

Class of 2027 Guesses: ****Please note, I have no inside info, these are just some guesses based on a myriad of different factors and maybe what seems to make sense, at least to me.*** Melvin Miller- Iowa. Just do not see a world where he does not go with Bo to Iowa. Not even sure where I would guess outside of Iowa. Obv everyone will be after him, he is an absolute monster. Joe Bachman- Lehigh or PSU. I think Lehigh has a really good year next year which attracts some more folks and they also do a great job with their guys and education is top notch, feels like a fit maybe. If not Lehigh, would be hard to see PSU letting him slip out of PA. Saw UPenn in the mix somewhere, maybe this forum, so that could be a thing as well. Darian Cruz is a really good assistant I think. Sonny Amato- Rutgers or VA Tech. Amato is a huge talent and it would be hard see RU letting him get away, because I am sure they want to lock Jersey down. Seems like he would also be a fit with VA Tech because he is in that weight range where they have had lots of success recently. Landon Sidun- Iowa, PSU, and VA Tech- Iowa very much in play per willie so obv that is an indicator. Kid is a massive talent and VA Tech has signed some real dudes of late so just a thought. PSU should also be a player here I am guessing as it would be hard to see him leaving PA. Side note would be awesome to see Pitt snag him- maybe with Roselli there they have a shot. Borge- Oklahoma State or Mizzou- Just going based off geography here. I know as a youth he wrestled out of MO, so figuring would be a homecoming of sorts, and am also guessing they know him pretty well. As noted he will be attending HS in Stilly, so that would have one think they have to have a great shot there. I also think he can be a good bit bigger and end up 65/74? Maybe. Also, I could see him being a fit at Iowa. Burnett- Ohio State/PSU/Purdue. Burnett is really solid, well coached and competes hard. Again kind of a theme here but would be hard for me to see Ohio State not putting up a massive push to keep him home. However, teammate Blaze is headed to PSU so I imagine that relationship runs deep and he could end up there. Other teammate is at Purdue and I wonder with Ramos on staff if that is an attractive option. Mario Carini- Oregon St/ASU/Michigan. Carini has placed at everything as an underclassman in the heavier weights, which proves his mettle. It is a need weight for ASU and he is close, ASU has not gotten a ton of Poway guys but you would think they are in play. Also, Oregon State has had tons of success with elite CA kids of late and Willie noted that they will be one of the most improved teams in the country, so adding those two together this is what I have. Also, Michigan because they have a strong RTC and Poway kids wrestle a ton of FS/GR and also who wouldn't want a pipeline to Poway? Tsarni- VA Tech/NC State. Not sure here, kind of threw a few schools out there. Again, he is a monster get for someone and again with the trend of what I have written VA Tech has been getting some really highly ranked kids of late, so this may be a thing? Also, NC State in the mix, I would think need weight plus proximity may make for a great match. Lucas Boe- Mizzou/Iowa State- Boe from LHP in Florida so he would be a great get and could help a pipeline with a program that just seems to churn out dude after dude. Interesting to note that LHP goes to all the majors and their kids are battle tested, they may have had the toughest schedule in the country. That being said ISU is on it in terms of recruiting and I can see them going hard after him, because he would be a great fit with Perry/Metcalf. And I do not know why but I just think Missouri as well. Of note though, many LHP kids go to Ivies and schools with high academics, if that is the case add Cornell, UVA, UNC, and Stanford in the mix. Dean Anderson- He is my son, no comment. Clinton Shepherd- Indiana/Nebraska/Purdue. Not sure on Indiana, not sure at all but again you would think they would throw the kitchen sink at him to get him to stay in state. He has tons of upside and wonder what he projects. I saw him at UWW U17 trials two years ago and he was massive for 132, wonder how big he gets, especially after a layoff from injury. You would think Purdue as well would be possible (see Indiana comment). I could also see him fitting in at Nebraska as he is solid in all positions and just a go getter. Sean Kenny- Lehigh/Va Tech/Rutgers. Another really good one close to Rutgers. Rutgers really making the push to be a top 8-10 team year after year at NCAA's and that only gets easier with locking down top Jersey talent. Would think Lehigh would be a fit as well because they are going to have a great season so that may help the process. Again, see VA tech. Note in Willie's first calls he talked about VA Tech going in big on a few guys and so maybe I thought he would be a guy because he is certainly good enough to warrant attention from everyone. Knopoka- NCST, Lehigh. No real feel here but with a kid from CT guessing Jack has an in for NC State. Also Lehigh (I know bullish on them) academics and high level wrestling would be a fit as well. Hayden Schwab- UNI. Jessie Grajeda- ASU/Cal Poly/Oregon State/Stanford. Bosco has sent a ton of kids to ASU and not sure if the Valencia to ASU pipeline is as open as it once was but I am guessing he would be a fit at a need weight for them. Valencia at Okie State may shake things up a bit but they are so loaded in there may be hard to get someone else in there. Oregon State would be a fit as it was noted earlier that Oregon State has landed quite a few elite CA prospects. Maybe throw Stanford in there as they do not have tons of need but Grajeda is a good one for sure. Perhaps Cal Poly could make a run here as well. Kikinou- UNC or Cornell. Poway sending come guys to UNC (Navida/Towson etc) has me think they have a shot in there and it seems the Poway kids do lean to schools with high academics and wrestling, so mix that with Koll who did spend time in CA at Stanford and is a master recruiter/CEO and I think you have UNC in the mix. Also, see Cornell as it seems this may be a fit for him. He is a Greco guy and Oregon State has had some guys in the Greco mix so maybe that works? IDK Gabe Logan- Michigan or Cornell. Michigan connection with dad who was an AA for them. As for Cornell, he is a Delbarton kid and obviously the Grey connection is a thing (see Perentin). Seemingly, Cornell is getting a boatload of guys and they all cannot start so wonder what happens here if kids start to think there will be a massive logjam. Brock Rothermel- Pitt/Ohio State. Pitt is close and have Roselli who is really really good at working with guys so maybe that is a fit. I say Ohio State because I can see them making a big push into PA, especially if they do not land Burnett. Seamus Regan- NCST- From SC, rumored somewhere he likes NCST which would seem to be a good proximity fit at least. Is at McCort so he will be all over the majors (events) and probably will get lots of attention from everyone. Maybe the connection with Iowa comes into play here and they can pick him up, but not sure thats a huge need for them. Gavin Mangano- Rutgers. Long Island kid who would be close to home in Piscataway, so maybe that is a thing. New York has seen a resurgence in the number of kids coming out of it (always been tough but down a little for a few years now seemingly stronger) and RU wanting to be a perennial top ten may see him as a huge pickup. He is a guy that is long so i wonder how big he can get over the next 2-3 years which makes me wonder wonder what he projects at, which could change all this hence my only listing one school. Jimmy Mastny- Illinois/Northern Iowa. Mastny is really really good and Illinois would do well to keep him at home. That would be huge for them as a program to land him as he is a really good big guy who started his youth as a smaller guy so he moves really well and is not a plodder. I also could see him being a guy who would fit in at UNI style wise, just a gritty dude that scraps and hand fights hard. *****Disclaimer, I have no real inside knowledge on any of this, but as noted before because I have been to a ton of events with Dean I have seen a lot of these kids and followed this class quite a bit from Junior High Rankings to now*** Just thought it may be good to get the ball rolling on this topic a little before 6/15.4 points

No. It's two weeks prior to the Worlds acclimation camp. We've seen our teams head over a few days in advance or a couple weeks in advance (and everything in between). A lot depends on location, which is Croatia this year. I can't imagine more than a week, as our USAW has planned around Croatia many times the last cycle or two - unless they head to Poland or Germany, etc. for a team camp prior to Croatia? Not sure, really. I would assume that we'll know mid-August at the latest.3 points

It is easy. He left and the second he left he referred to Trump's "arguably the most significant piece of Legislation that will ever be signed in the History of our Country" as a "disgusting abomination". He even said he can't stand it anymore. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.” More Musk quotes on the way out the door, "I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing." Meanwhile, he has been chastened by Tesla investors for taking his eye off the ball at the company that is his checking account. At the same time he says he is pulling back "a lot" on his previously promised campaign funding. In November he said he would play a significant role in the primaries, and now he says he has done enough. Now you may argue that he never used the word regret, but if you want to argue that does not sound like a man with regrets, then I do not know what to say to you.3 points

For whatever reason, Wells only had one Big Ten win last year, including regular season and B1G tournament. That was against Nolan Wertanen, Michigan. A change of scenery was probably necessary. If Cannon is mostly healthy, I would expect a little more, even if used on a limited basis.2 points

People simping for Ferrari to the point of harassing a real person is exactly what happened to the girl that accused him of SA , she was harassed daily in person ,online and they tried to get her fired from the career she just started , that is why she dropped the charges and disappeared and this isn’t just random internet goons either, less then a month ago someone brought up Ferrari during the Kyle Synder situation and I saw Corby out here say the woman was never harassed and was insinuating that the woman is a wh**e and AJ was innocent … this dude almost killed people in a car accident , participated in a drive by shooting on a teammates house , got into numerous fights and confrontations, threatened to kill John smith on instragram live while drunk and waving a gun around and got charged with SA and yet I feel most of the wrestling community defends him no matter what mineo main groupies are a joke the Lee kid on there posted 3 seperate paragraph long posts a day for a week straight ranting and raving about Kyle Synder and how awful a person he is, yet this week is posting paragraph after paragraph defending AJ2 points

Why would I need to admit he never said regret when I never said he said regret? This really is not the "aha" you were planning was it? But as long as we are parsing words, the definition of regret is - feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over (something that has happened or been done, especially a loss or missed opportunity). In his CBS Morning News interview Musk said he was disappointed with the budget bill and that it undermined his work at DOGE. So stop with the he never said... And yes, I think someone who uses "just can't stand it anymore", "massive", "outrageous", "pork-filled", "disgusting", "abomination", "shame", and "wrong" in a three sentence message is expressing his disappointment and regret. Then to follow it up with "In November next year, we will fire all politicians who betrayed the American people" drives that message home. Those are not the words of someone who is happy with his time spent among politicians. And forget about your hypothetical. I do not hate Elon Musk. Just because I do not fawn over him, you and others jump to an incorrect conclusion (or as you like to call it the hypothetical in your brain). I am, however, very wary of Elon Musk, along with Peter Thiel, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Alex Karp (especially Alex Karp), the US government (check out the deal they are doing with Palantir), the Chinese government, the Russian government, and everyone else trying to monopolize personally identifiable data to weaponize it against me (or even just to sell me crap). It is the reason that I do not have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, or log into Google, or turn on my location on my phone any more than I need to, etc.2 points

My oldest just graduated, but with two kids still keeping me busy, I’m not quite an empty nester yet. I’m already thinking about what to do with her room. After years of hard work, my dream retirement is spending lots of time with future grandkids. I will follow them if needed, help them get jobs or run a business. If that doesn’t pan out, I’d love a small, secluded house on some land to live quietly. My wife, though, wants to travel the world and live in a big, fancy house. Growing up, my mom’s decisions really messed with me. When I went to college, she redid my room in like three months, like I didn’t belong anymore. Then, after my dad died unexpectedly when I was 20, she was dating within a year and remarried soon after. She acted like a single woman, not my mom, and it felt like I lost both parents. It pretty much killed our relationship. My wife’s family did something similar... right after we bought a house to be near them, they moved to Florida. Then they guilt-tripped us for not flying across the country for holidays. They moved back eventually, so we relocated to be close again, and boom... they moved again. It stung, like our efforts to stay close didn’t matter. I don’t want my kids to feel that way. Parents’ choices... moving, remarrying, even redoing a bedroom... can make kids feel like they’re not a priority. I’m not saying we shouldn’t live our lives, but the timing and how we handle it matters.2 points

Not sure if these are all under the radar types, but all had good RS campaigns and are guys I am interested in seeing on the mat on a more regular basis. From OU both Braun and Beric Jordan had good RS seasons Adrian Meza from ISU was ranked top 30ish at one point but I think ended up being officially shirted. Ferrari at Iowa had a heck of a year in RS. Aeodon Sinclair Mizzou Manville at ASU- has had a great Spring Kaleb Larkin- ASU LJ Araujo- Nebraska Cody Merrill- Oklahoma State ASU has a 184 Aziz that got hurt early but he is fun to watch for sure2 points

Hell I want him to succeed, I am an OU fan through and through. I am just pissed at how Joe C has allowed that program to flounder. Leonard has been given a ton of power there, and I really do not know why. So, another tidbit on what a dirt bag Kish is. You seen Mcdougal, Pickalo, and Wiley leave, well it was because he cut most of their scholly money and had no discussion with them. Just tried to hand them a "new" contract and told them to just sign it. The wrestling world is too small man, you cannot continue to treat people like crap and burn bridges. Cam is a nice guy, but Teyon is a better recruiter, but Teyon is not a yes man. Anyway, I will shut up. I have no skin in that program, I am just a fan.2 points

Zan was a HARD Commit to OU, he committed to Lou. Kish screwed this whole deal up to. Zan had OSU, Minn, Missouri, and several others begging for him to decommit and come to their school. He stayed loyal, and then it got to the point, Kish didn't call him or anything, so he left. Kish tried to fight it, but he ended up getting out of the commitment. It came down to Illinois or Wisconisn. He chose Wisconsin. He is doing what he has always done. Win, and be a great kid. He will end up single handily save Bono and get some other good kids in there (IMO)2 points

Yes...I did. I know SOMETHING about McGirt v Oklahoma. I also ASKED the question, a genuine and honest question in good faith as to what authority ICE had there. But since you quoted me where I said it returned jurisdiction to most of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma(which it absolutely did as was the point of the lawsuit)....here's from the case. Yes, the U.S. Supreme Court's 2020 decision in McGirt v. Oklahoma significantly impacted the legal landscape of eastern Oklahoma by affirming that a substantial portion of the state remains Native American reservation land.natlawreview.com Background of the Case The case centered on Jimcy McGirt, a member of the Seminole Nation, who was convicted in an Oklahoma state court for crimes committed within the historical boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. McGirt argued that the state lacked jurisdiction. .en.wikipedia.org+7law.cornell.edu+7theguardian.com+7 The Supreme Court's Decision On July 9, 2020, the Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision that the land reserved for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation since the 19th century remains "Indian country" for purposes of federal criminal law. Justice Neil Gorsuch, writing for the majority, emphasized that Congress had never explicitly disestablished the reservation, and thus, the state's jurisdiction over crimes involving Native Americans on this land was invalid. natlawreview.com+5scotusblog.com+5indianlaw.org+5natlawreview.com+3theguardian.com+3axios.com+3 Scope of the Ruling The decision reaffirmed the reservation status of approximately 3 million acres in eastern Oklahoma, including parts of Tulsa. While it did not transfer ownership of land or alter civil governance structures, it clarified that, for certain legal purposes, notably criminal jurisdiction, these areas are recognized as Native American reservations. Implications and Subsequent Developments The ruling has had profound implications: ------ So... no, I didn't have any idea to what extent the federal authorities could go on that land, but I DID know that the stated lacked jurisdiction. I shared the part that I understood and ASKED about the part I was uncertain about. And yes, I'm SOOO sorry I gave you a clown emoji for your....stupid little...quip.2 points

Wasn't a riot. It was civilian pushback when military level "somebodies" massively rolled into their neighborhood without any warning or known reason. The civilians asked questions, and these "somebodies" gave them no answers as they grabbed up and hauled civilians away. Undercover operations occur all the time. Police, Sheriff, etc. and they follow a protocol that is safe for them and safe for civilians. This was not one of those operations. We have a need for undercover operations. But this wasn't one of them. This was a purposely staged public event used as a show of force by "somebodies" against civilians. This is not OK. Secret operations against civilians is the work of Russia or China, not the US. This was incredibly disappointing.2 points

Right. I was also going to include the death penalty(or frankly the wood chipper if I'm being honest) but that's controversial...as is mental health, his PTSD for Military, a dozen other things that in other threads could go in a political direction. I thought though...SURELY on this one particular thread, given the scope of the... senseless tragedy, we could not bicker and focus on ONE thing only. Sadly, I was wrong. Hopefully, moving forward... we can avoid that. These poor young girls and the family grieving their loss. A mother who's world just got destroyed. Sykora is a very good recruiter but he’s a Kish yes man. I’ve met and talked to Kish on numerous occasions and he is as others on here have stated very arrogant with an enormous ego. Kish didn’t leave NDSU on good terms and has basically zero relationship with his former Associate Head Coach Obe Blanc because of it. I thought it was poetic justice that Obe had an AA this past NCAA tourney while Kish had none. IMO Cam should go someplace else and get a different perspective on how a program is run.2 points
