Mendez destroys Stanich Walker wins in the finals Welsh beats Bullock 7-2 in a match that he looked the bigger wrestler in. Shumate had to come from behind to beat Walters at 197lbs for 3rd. Mantanona had Brignola on skates the last minute of the finals match at 165lbs there. True Frosh Brock, not Beau. Davino beats Bouzakis 5-3 and McCrone beats Kilkeary 5-3.4 points

How desperate do you have to be to create a whole new fake account just to spill your political takes? Seriously, it's embarrassing. We’re already anonymous here, and you're out here hiding behind two layers because you’re too scared to own what you’re saying? That’s about as weak as it gets. Just admit you’re too gutless to stand by your words and save us all the trouble. Reveal your main. We all know you will disappear a few days after the election.2 points

Trump was not a politician and did not know what he didn't know. He explained this in the Rogan interview. He admits his mistakes. Now that he understands, he's assembled a team ahead of time.2 points

Nazi comparisons are meant to drive a reaction and are not based on accurate history. It is over the top. Lets explore comparative behavior. Like the Nazis, which American party has heavy control over media and uses propaganda to shape public opinion, suppress dissent, and promote their ideology? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party supports censoring speech? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party supports expanded government power under the guise of public welfare? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party is actively prosecuting and attempting to kill their political opposition? Democrats! Yea, but America First! Yes, which American party wants to focus on prioritizing American jobs, reducing illegal immigration, and scaling back U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts? Republicans! And that is completely different than the Nazi focus on racially exclusionary ideology. Remind me, which party wants to talk about racial identify all the time? Democrats! Drop it.2 points

Let's take this reductio ad absurdum further: get rid of scoring and rules all together. Only one person walks out of the arena (venue) alive. Demolition Derby + MMA + Squid Game ≠ Hunger Games.2 points

"The Georgia Supreme Court left in place a lower court ruling that several controversial new election rules are “illegal, unconstitutional, and void.” The rules would have made election certification discretionary, required hand-counting the number of ballots, made drop boxes harder to use, and expanded the role of poll watchers. The appeal will proceed on a normal schedule, which means the state supreme court will fully consider the challenge against the rules over the next few months." They tried to rig the election a few weeks before hand but got b* slapped by their own, conservative, Supreme Court.1 point

The fact that many many republicans who worked in his administration, are refusing to support him, and voting and in some cases even campaigning for the democrat whom they don’t agree with on policy, has significant value toward the results on Tuesday.1 point

The information you gave is of no value to me. It is of no value for the results on Tuesday. So, carry on.1 point

Main take aways. Nobody is touching Jesse this year I know it may seem like a lot to takeaway from a win over a guy bumping up two weights in one off season but after watching stanich against Lemley he would be right there to AA and Mendez just crushed him. Score does not tell the entire story in Davino vs Bouzakis it did not seem like bouzakis had anything for him aside from hopping out of a crab ride for a reversal which he does to everyone. Kilkeary probably gives you a little more ceiling but a much lower floor overall I think Mccrone is the guy.1 point

Granted. He learned nothing with his first four chiefs of staff, but boy that fifth one would be right.1 point

No matter what we say or think one of these two candidates will be elected President on Tuesday. If it's really close and Pennsylvania is the deciding factor it will be Thursday or Friday before we know anything. Some people will melt down and some of us will just go about our normal lives.1 point

Which would suggest that Trump is very poor at hiring, if he needs to fire so many of his hires. Someone with that poor judgement should not be president. And that is so far down the list of reasons Trump should never be president again.1 point

I paid $16 to explore 'Am I racist?' because, as a white cisgender male, I recognize that biases are embedded in my identity by history, and no action alone can fully erase them. Understanding this, I want to confront the seeds of bias within me, acknowledge my inherited legacy, and take responsibility through self-reflection and support for equity. This is a step toward understanding my role in a system that perpetuates inequality and working consciously toward change. I appreciate how people like Matt Walsh and Robin DiAngelo take direct action, including financially supporting black people they encounter, to help repair the harm rooted in our collective shadow selves, rather than waiting for systemic change. My favorite part was when a white guy said that he feels "cringe" when he recognizes he is white. A few highlights on the worst parts of the video: White bikers from the deep south at the bar says people need to be worried about how they are going to feed their families, not the color of a man's skin. They make the same claims as Morgan Freeman that if you want to get rid of racism, quit talking about racism. They dare to say that talking about racism IS racism. The black guys from the deep south that say they do not experience microaggressions, America is not racist systemically, and claim America is a good country. Black Professor Wilfred Reilly argues that hate crime is not an epidemic in the U.S. Leverages his background—a PhD and his teaching position at the historically Black Kentucky State University—to support his perspective. Claims that the "demand" for hate crimes in America far exceeds the actual "supply." Cites government data showing only 7,000 hate crimes annually out of 20 million indexed crimes. Asserts that the media is primarily responsible for creating the perception of a hate crime epidemic. Argues that attention should be directed toward issues like Black-on-Black crime and other forms of violence rather than hate crimes. Points to high-profile cases later debunked as hate crimes, including Jussie Smollett, Duke Lacrosse, and Bubba Wallace. Authored Hate Crime Hoaxes: How the Left is Selling a Fake Race War. (Note: This statement is an inverse of my actual opinions... As soon as someone starts discussing systemic victimhood, they've lost touch with reality. The reality that the overwhelming majority of citizens can achieve success in America when they accept their role in making it happen.)1 point

This year, Japan's five lightest weights were totally in beast mode: 57- Higuchi (28) -- gold 61- Ono (20) -- gold (10-2 over Uguev; 12-0 over Vito) 65- Kiyooka (23) -- gold (10-3 over Amouzad) 70- Aoyagi (22) -- silver 74- Takatani (29) -- silver What are they doing that makes them so good?1 point

I have no idea what you mean by the mats and the middle-aged women. I am out of, and have possibly never been in, that loop. As for the dual, it was a good day. Ramazan has to acclimate to 125. He's wrestled 133 for 5 years or so. He was a little wobbly in the first and very unsteady in the third. Next weekend, he has the returning national champion. As for Edmond, check out the video below and tell me those aren't takedowns. With them, he's very close to a major. Even the announcers, former SIUE wrestlers were calling them takedowns. For the team as a whole, wow, they attacked, pressured, took angles, rode hard and broke a lot of souls. Here's the written recap. Cheers, my friend!1 point

Listening to it, it was pretty garbled. But I understand his 'deplorables-esque' reference. Because at this point, they are. They are ok with a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, transphobic, ignoramus that doesn't understand business, healthcare, or tariffs. The current president, that is not up for reelection made a faux pas by telling the truth. I'll agree its not advantageous to Harris because the party of constant victimhood will never miss an opportunity to play the victim. Despite privilege beyond measure. Could that be a religious hold over? Probably, considering a vast majority of those that support this party are religious zealots. Zealots = people of religion that preaches a morality they don't abide by, but insist others do, but punish them through political processes, if they don't. Sum up. Joe was right. But it doesn't help his VP from winning the race, necessarily. Not that there is any chance that KH loses, it just doesn't help. Again, sucks to suck!1 point

For someone that is obviously racist. Why offer to pay them for the opportunity to watch a racist film about a racist if you are not, racist-adjacent, yourself? Being 'curious' and not 'bought in', would bring you absolutely nothing. I get the 'listen to the opposing side argument before coming to a conclusion' but you don't have to pay a racist to understand their argument if you have any kind of imagination. They're racist, its not hard to understand why they might hold that opinion. Taught to them at an early age. They have emotional ties to maintaining the belief. Changing it would mean addressing a whole lot of other opinions they can't justify. See, as a non-racist I just did it. Racism is much like religion. They get you young. Plant the seed deep. Tie a whole lot of emotional baggage to the 'truth'. Then tell you that you shouldn't ask or look for any answer that isn't already provided by the truth that has been provided to you. It'll be interesting to see the responses defending religion and/or racism. Seeing as they, typically, are one and the same. Does Dog have a preferred people? Isn't that racism?1 point

Wrong. I question assumptions, evaluate evidence, consider context, analyze arguments, seek multiple perspectives, and reflect on my thinking. I am a skeptic of nearly all sources. For example, I pulled the raw data for manufacturing jobs and did my own fact checking. Independent thinking! Not internet believing!1 point

Well, at each round some will break through to AA level. On Friday 4 AAs are known first - those in Semis. After blood round 4 folks are near. Next round - 2 are into consi semis and they are AA (lowest can place is 6). Then 7/8 match determines last AA. An idea for discussion. Glad there are many here that are capable of an intelligent discussion.1 point

Do you think he'll end up at SDSU? I think DeVos is out of eligibility after this season, but not sure. I agree, it'll suck not to see Kennedy in the lineup. I'm more disappointed that Siebrecht (and to a lesser extent, Glaze) is gone. Had high hopes for him in a black & gold singlet this season.1 point
