My hot take is that if it could be fixed it would have been fixed already. Usually there are a few minor tweaks post-deployment but the ads here need MAJOR adjustments so the two likely explanations are that it's either a low-skill DIY job or a "meh, we'll get to it when/if we get to it" kind of situation. There's just no way an engaged and capable ad group puts out a product with so many problems on Day 1 and makes no improvements by Day 30. I'm not trying to be a snob about it, just relaying my experience from the web dev world.

My bad. I should have looked closer to the finishes... I still agree with @alex1flypoint. He didn't "turn the program around," as they were elite before, they were elite after...they're Iowa. Gable turned them around. Cael turned PSU around. I don't know that one Wrestler can turn a program around, but I definitely don't think a Wrestler can turn a program that's already one of the couple blue blood programs around. Lee was great for Iowa. I DO think he would have been a 4X Champ if not for injury. I don't think it's as simple as he got pinned when he was winning, he was gassing that year because I don't know how you can be in the type of shape you really need to be in if you have knees like he did(and we've seen him recently, he's in MUCH better shape after being healthy). And I also reiterate, this is a stupid thread...but as long as people are taking it seriously...that's my opinion.

The comparison to chrome on a lap top is silly. In my opinion at least. The screen canvas space on a desktop / laptop / whatever is massive compared to a smart phone. the world isn’t using desktop / laptops like they used to. They are a dying medium. 60/70-% of the worlds web traffic is on smart phones. So follow the $ there relative to ad revenue. it’s none of my business….. I asked a long time ago what this sites costs are. The folks who host this for us need not be paying out of their pocket…… but the cost of a forum with minuscule traffic is not high. We don’t have a lot of traffic. Anything in tech can be fixed. The service “could” be dropped. i don’t want to run an ad blocking service. Believe it or not some sites I need to go to do not allow you to browse with it turned on so I have to toggle it on / off or use a different browser. The experience stinks. If 70/80/90+% turn on ad blockers they aren’t getting revenue anyway …. If we all leave and go to (lol) pat minnow’s Facebook group or twitter or x …… they aren’t getting revenue anyway.

Turning out we got real lucky in my little section of the world. Some real carnage all around me, some historical situations. Town directly to my north saw its worst flooding ever. Islands to the south, west, and north all under water. Tornadoes to the east. Apparently even the east side of my city under water. All I ended up with is one section of fence blown out. We’ll be getting hands dirty around here for a little bit.

I am not sure either one of them will be at 157 in college - If they are they will certainly be able to compete for the starting spot. Duke especially could be ready to compete for a high spot on the podium if he can make 157 - if he is up at 165 he will overlap MM by at least 1 year and then I expect he will hold that spot after MM leaves. (I wouldn't be totally shocked if he took the spot as a RSF) I am afraid Sealy will probably be one of the extremely talented guys from 165 to 184 who is shut out from starting at PSU.
