honestly, just stfu. no one wanted a war at all and certainly not involving iran and others. many of us told you what was abundantly clear to non lib tards: that now that the US released billions to Iran, bad sh!t was going to happen. of course you galactically stupid lefty stans mumbled: 'but but but it's in escrow, durr.' it's incredible the idiocy of you people who deny what's obvious and then, when things go to shit like predicted by anyone with any semblance of reality, totally enter spin zone. let me spell it out for you, dunce - Hamas (with Iran funding) attacked Israel. Israel responded. Now Iran is attacking Israel. and your big brain response is 'you wanted this' ? it not only refutes what actually happened, it's a scumbag thing to say.3 points

Let's apply some Lobster Logic: Millions of people voluntarily build fences around their properties. Public servants in every jurisdiction wear gold stars proudly and conspicuously. Tattoos are displayed with joy by people. Free food, clothes, transportation, and health care are sought by people the world over. Therefore, if a government were to provide these things we all would be in a form of heaven. Anyone whining about having to wear a thin easy to attach gold star to help each other out needs a swift kick in the ass. Anyone whining about having to get a small easy tattoo to help each other out needs a swift kick in the ass. Anyone whining about having to live in a secure gated community with free food, clothing, health care, and all the exercise you want to help each other out needs a swift kick in the ass. There have been several such a benevolent governments that gave all these things to special people and also gave swift kicks in the ass to whiners with the temerity to complain. Lobster just loves those types of ass kicking governments and the type of people who implemented them.3 points

Who are the guys that are expected to make an imact out of the gate. This year there were several impact true freshmen ie Stanich, Davis, Welch, Kasak, Shapiro, Bailey, Tj Stewart, Ragotzky, Fishback, Arnold, Barr, Keuter etc. 6 of those mentionded were AA's Davis was the B10 champ. The others were R12 or spot started and showed out. There are some absolute hammers coming in the next couple years that will be in the conversation from the start. The kids I have been hearing about the most in 2024 are: 1. Luke Lilledahl Wyoming Seminary PA Penn State 2 Angelo Ferrari Melissa TX Iowa 3 Benjamin Davino St. Charles IL Ohio State 4 Koy Hopke Amery WI Minnesota 5 Zack Ryder Minisink Valley NY Penn State 182 6 Joseph Sealey Wyoming Seminary PA Penn State 160 7 Aeoden Sinclair Milton WI Missouri 195 8 Cody Merrill Gilroy CA Oklahoma State 220 9 Brock Mantanona Palm Desert CA Michigan 152 10 Pierson Manville State College PA Arizona State 145 I'm not as familier with the 2025 class but PJ Duke sticks out, the kid is a bull and super slick. A PSU recruit right in their 157 to 174 range where PSU is loaded. Who are the guys that are going to make an immediate impact.2 points

Hi, CP. No sh*t, Sherlock…that there is no question Coleman is the next HC. Why create a video titled “CP predicts the next head coach of Oklahoma State” as if there is any question as to who the next HC will be? I’ll tell you why…for clicks. I thought maybe you/Flo had some inside info that would be a reason to question the obvious, but nope…just clickbait.2 points

Stewart himself posted on X "transfer portal heating up". To me that just seems like a lonely Bo Nickal who needs some spotlight like a houseplant needs a window sill occasionally. If he was really into transferring he wouldnt be throwing out lame platitudes about the portal...unless he's an idiot.2 points

I don’t think so. Vito had a lot to say in the matter. He expressly wanted to wrestle the college season and did NOT want to take an Olympic red shirt. He wanted to graduate college. If took red shirt would have to leave college for the year. Vito had a ton of agency in the decision making and how this all unfolded.2 points

An over simplification. During the American Revolution, citizens were encouraged to own and use firearms in defense efforts. Privateers, citizen-owned ships armed with cannons, were encouraged to fight too. Meanwhilein in India... there was this Battle of Plassey in 1757 where 800 Brits and 2000 local defeated 50,000 Bengals. Guns were part of that. Time passed with other occurrences... peaceful and non peaceful. Then the Brits wanted the Americans to enter WW2. Before the Americans engaged, they pushed the Brits to sign the Atlantic Charter... including that all people had the right to self-determination. After the US entered and helped kick ass with their guns, the dismantling of colonism was enabled. The Brits were not motivated to free India but the quit India Ghandi movements and economy and charter all helped to make that happen. If India citizens and military had guns like the US had guns... they wouldn't had been as easy to colonoize. And while India did achieve freedom eventually through peaceful measures, it can thank the US guns for enabling the circumstance of their success. Pehaps if the Brits never had guns (ban guns everywhere)... colonism wouldn't had been easy... I don't know... controlling weaker parties has always been a thing. This is why the 2nd ammendment is so important. The wisdom of the past is important! "The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776 "I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." - Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Madison, January 30, 1787 "To disarm the people...[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them." - George Mason, referencing advice given to the British Parliament by Pennsylvania governor Sir William Keith, The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adooption of the Federal Constitution, June 14, 1788 "Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops." - Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, October 10, 1787 "The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms, like law, discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The balance ofpower is the scale of peace. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside. And while a single nation refuses to lay them down, it is proper that all should keep them up. Horrid mischief would ensue were one-half the world deprived of the use of them; for while avarice and ambition have a place in the heart of man, the weak will become a prey to the strong. The history of every age and nation establishes these truths, and facts need but little arguments when they prove themselves." - Thomas Paine, "Thoughts on Defensive War" in Pennsylvania Magazine, July 1775 "The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms." - Samuel Adams, Massachusetts Ratifying Convention, 1788 "On every occasion [of Constitutional interpretation] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying [to force] what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, [instead let us] conform to the probable one in which it was passed." - Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Johnson, 12 June 18232 points

So...Saitiev avenged his loss at age 25 to Slay? You can't be the GOAT with an unavenged loss like that in your prime... Sadulalaev was also clearly compromised for that match.2 points

Cody going for some big hits. Connects a bit. Nickal says ok, let’s wrestle. Attempts TD. Does eventually get it. Gets back control and eventually gets a leg in. Cody keeping chin down. Round ends with Bo in control. Landed a few elbows. Round 2 - this is a fight. Kicks. Bo decides enough, let’s get to ground. Works underhook to knee pick I believe. In control. Cody turns up towards him. Bo in full Mount. trying to set up arm triangle. Can’t get it. Working elbows lightly. No real damage being done. Starts to punch, Cody bellies down. Bo has back, body triangle, …. Eventually gets a choke. Done.1 point

The fixation some of y'all have in Pyles is staggering. Not all content is for you. And if you don't want to watch it, nobody makes you do it (or come onto forums to spend more mental energy on this person you claim to hate.) I don't find his talking head videos super informative, so I don't watch them. But there are tons of fans who are don't trade anywhere near as much as I do. Same as politics where there will be people genuinely surprised this year about who is running or what their specific policies are. HOWEVER, working backward from the OP, the idea being mocked is that they should reach out to othe candidates? Many people, me included, believe they should (not that they will). Mocking that idea is foolish. Pop is a better coach than Scott by any metric. To me, THAT idea is self-evident, that you don't just lock in on one candidate for a job before looking into it, but for the OP, it apparently isn't, so maybe he needs to watch some more Pyles videos?1 point

One of these things is not like the other. The bitching between pro wrestling and our wrestling is a one-way complaint. We’ve wasted countless hours on that and no one is listening. It’s a way to make a living using your athletic abilities … complaining about pro wrestling is so 1983.1 point

Been rumored for a long time that Haines has had a tough cut to 157 this year and MM is a natural 157. Lots of folks around the program now have confirmed they will swap next year. Keckeisen bumping up is more of projection, big 184 who probably has senior level aspirations and might deem his better future for senior level freestyle at the higher weight. Rumors were he struggled with the cut this year at times, but his wrestling certainly didn't show that. For my predictions I went with it, but if he stays 184 he is the HEAVY favorite and 197 is a free for all similar to 125 this year I think.1 point

I was in the army. Most of the people in my unit or battalion couldn't have cared less. If you want to sit on your ass and not stand for the anthem, that's your decision. Forcing or coercing somebody into it is borderline facist. If you want to sit in the locker room because you're preparing for a game, that's your business. This stupid debate boils down to a few things. Are they hurting anyone by being in the locker room for the anthem? No. Does being present or standing for it have any bearing on their performance? No. Is it any of our business why people do what they do? No. Do I take it as an insult? No.1 point

The question originally posed was, more or less, when was the last time an American service member died for the rights of other Americans. Somehow, American now equals Afghan? And constitutional freedoms equal human rights, according to you? Speaking of moving the goal posts. Wow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
-
I thought this whole argument was to respect American troops who died for American freedoms and rights. Now you are saying our troops died fighting for human rights so women can drive a car and not cover their faces because a man says they should. If that’s what our job was to prevent we didn’t a really bad job because That happens in Afghanistan now after we were there for years and lost many American lives. Saudi Arabia who is most responsible for 9/11 still has those norms yet you don’t care because we are allies.1 point

If you were truly a patriotic American you’d be interested in what these people think, and have to say (not these basketball players, of course), that has resulted in them protesting in this manner, as opposed to villainizing them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Yes, because the government would not be able to make such a requirement. The government can not do something like this where they are regulating an individual's speech (although Gov. Landry is free to criticize the person or persons involved). Knowing the coach of LSU and her rep, I would highly doubt this is anything related to a protest and probably more related to her old-school ways and routine.1 point
-
It's literally the definition of a free speech violation. It would be a government entity punishing somebody for their speech.1 point

Thank you. I was holding my breath for this one. Not all scholarships are state funded. Some of the things states don't like paying for are athletic scholarships. So, conceivably, they have no authority to pull a scholarship and would open themselves up to HUGE lawsuits. Because taking a scholarship is pretty difficult. Prove that you know Mulkey's statement was false or shut up. Just shut up. You're embarrassing. As much as you wish it was true and that it might be. DOES. NOT. MAKE. IT. SO. But thank you for allowing me another opportunity to correct you in all caps. In your fever-dream scenario, do the fans need to be in their seats for the anthem? Why don't you insist the anthem be played at any other event, movies, plays, rec league softball games? Just shut up! Was the anthem played at every single sporting event in the history of these USsofA? No. Then shut up!1 point
