I’m fine with Iowa having lots of Iowa kids on their lineup. And may their dominance of the Iowa recruiting scene continue for many, many years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Wisconsin if they are going to replace Bono - should hire one of the guys cozy with AWA. But if that don't go that route, maybe hire Kyle Burwick.2 points

He gave some extra effort to Matt Lee’s face/throat well after the whistle, and he torqued Lee’s knee hard enough to make him MFF out of the 5th place match. The latter might have been incidental but l’m not inclined to give Fernandes the benefit of the doubt these days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

This entire post is a hot mess. Poorly interpreted bullshit polls of peoples opinions, none of which are even cited. No facts at all. Sadly you apparently believe if enough unknown schmucks think something is true, that makes it fact. Almost as unsurprising as it is unreal.2 points

What ... I thought there were no other conference. A non conference team blanked a conference team. Say it ain't so and shouldn't this 'State' school be more interested in whether journalists are asking the right questions than prepping for a b10 opponent?2 points

Here we go.... the classic dual vs duel. Surprised we have gotten over a year without this 78 page thread. I agree.... dual. But a duel, is between two.... ught oh.2 points

Well... it looks like Luke Stanich will be wrestling @ 125 this afternoon. Also, Malyke Hines and Max Brignola will not be on the lienup @ 141 & 157 respectively. 2 minutes till showtime... D32 points

On another note, even if Valencia got down to 174, I’m not sure he’d beat Wilner.2 points

If we're talking about what I think you mean, "Kobe Bryant/Lebron James" level hype then it's a short list. Kolat, Mocco, Schlatter, Aaron Pico and Steveson.2 points

Early, but Howard just gutted lut a 6-4 decision against Gardner Webb's Concepcion. Concepcion nearly had a takedown there at the end and was working on improving position. Howard laid and prayed on his ankle. This Howard is not pulling AA.1 point

Davis just beat Tristan Lujan, MSU’s 125 starter. I think he’ll be the starter for Penn State going forwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Messenbrink is super creative and always looking to score. When he REALLY figures out top and bottom wrestling, watch out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Nah. None of that. I think preposterous statements such as him being a lock to AA are stupid, though. I fully expect some sort of excuse from you, not him. As a fan of wrestling I believe a better Penn State is better for USA Wrestling. I see nothing from him that makes me believe Penn State is better with him and not Davis. The point may be moot. If Howard pulls of a win in the semi-finals against Berginc it may be enough to keep Davis on redshirt regardless of how Davis performs.1 point

Doing nothing can be/likely is a sign that he doesn't have the confidence to use his injured shoulder, his fitness isn't there yet, or any number of things. If you want to describe how he's wrestling as regression, fine by me, though the description doesn't matter much. He's not performing like the top recruit he was. Whether that's physical, mental, a combination or he's somehow lost his ability to wrestle, the question he and PSU have to answer is whether they can change the direction this thing is going. Because I don't think it's likely he forgot how to wrestle, I'm still leaning toward the recovery from the injury, both physically and mentally, is why he looks like he does. It's not a simple thing for everyone to overcome when you suddenly can't perform the way you've always been able to.1 point

Obviously to be taken with a grain of salt, but Figs is the only 125 listed on ASUs press release for todays dual.1 point

Nagao looked great in his first match of the year. Should see Shawver on the final. Might see an all PSU final again at 141; Evans and Kasak meet in the quarter finals. Evans has an AA scalp this year and lost a tight one against Malyke Hines. Messenbrink should hit Caleb Fish in the 165 final. Might see Josh Barr hit two top-15 dudes in Jacob Nolan and Lane Malczewski. Best bracket outside of 133 and 141, on paper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Those of us with an open mind waited patiently for the right's army of lawyers and virtually infinite treasury to get evidence in court. It never happened. Not one shred of evidence. It is beyond pathetic to fight this on social media rather than use the legal remedies provided for precisely this purpose. It is a sad indictment of our society that millions and millions are so gullible and eager to serve the purposes of a single individual.1 point

Howard was seeded 4th, Steen 5th, and Davis 6th. Howard's opponent, Gardner Webb's Concepcion, was 4W - 4L on the season thus far and he won via 6-4 Decision. He faces Steen next. Steen's opponent, Binghamton's Wagner, was 1W - 1L on the season thus far and he won via 12-5 Decision. He faces Howard next. Davis's's opponent, Long Island's Waldmann was 0W - 2L on the season thus far and he won via 15-0 Techfall in the first. He faces Army's backup, 3 Seeded Farmer, who is technically 5W - 0L on the season but does have an actual loss to D3's #1 Josiah Fry via 4-0 Decision. It will be a good test. Davis already holds a victory over Steen via 11-3 Major. Ergo no McHenry at this time1 point

The thing I found most hopeful was that there was only one knee sleave, no braces, and when Megaludis torqued on the sleaved knee in the first 30 seconds there appeared to be no issues for Lee. No grimace, no limp, no shaking it off, just return to center and go.1 point

Where does he say "some"? Because then you're just adding your own context. Unless the "some" you're referring to is where he said "Western Jews" and I guess there we're saying he didn't mean all the Jews in the world, just all the Jews the westernized world, which....cool? And that's if we (generously) completely divorce it from the context of replying to a post about Hitler.1 point

I'm not sure who'll last longer, Willie or Trigger. Maybe a photo finish. Saw him at a private concert for a company I worked for about 30 years ago. Unforgettable. Kris Kristofferson, what a lyricist. And "two other guys".1 point
