Closes thing I saw is it is in response to crime increase in ATL...but then the person who came up with it didn't mention that rather spoke about how this was for a specific clientele - executives, celebrities, and such that would need armed protection, but those folks probably would have that anyway. As a person who created an artificial intelligence algorithm with, admittedly, a very different purpose in grad school, I have to say that it's completely beholden to the biases and interests of the creator of the algorithm.
