I’m not sure what to think.

For one, I’d think he would have already gotten the same or better NIL offers before committing the first time, so I don’t really buy that a team came up with a better offer.

I’d be more likely to think it’s related to his admission.  I don’t think it would be the charges because of being innocent until proven guilty.  My guess would be grades.

I think we exhausted all near term relative facts and a load of speculation 

I’ll summarize roughly for you.   Also there are like 4/5/6 pages of this before someone brought up starocci 

psu fans don’t like him cause he didn’t commit to psu (similar to basset)

he may or may not be yet to be convicted of being a jersey shore kid for fighting in the stands with his super upstanding dad 

he may or may not be smart enough to get into Cornell 

Cornell may or may not have decided to not to let someone with jersey shore charges pending against him into the school 

he may be seeking more or less $$$ as a result 

someone brought up Carter and his alleged checkered past.  

Right now nothing new is occurring.    The ball is in Knox court 

privacy laws prolly prevent anyone from publicizing anything factual on the matter.  For example.  You will likely not hear Cornell say why they rejected him.  If they in fact rejected him.    The already adult not in college yet Knox will likely not say why he really de-comitted if it was for financial reasons.

The same forum insiders who tried to say the Kyle Snyder story was a big misunderstanding and was actually a year-old news story about a pedo teacher by the same name in Indiana and people were getting them confused

Pretty sure that did happen, well not sure who actually said that but I believe it was said IIRC.

It does bring up another point though. The “but Starocci is still part of NLWC!” thing doesn’t really mean much to me one way or the other, considering Snyder is still part of NLWC as well and he was quite literally caught with his pants down with a prostitute.

The threads and posts about the Snyder rumor on the PSU forum were all deleted. The only discussion you can find about it now are from after the actual news articles came out. But if you recall there was a whole weekend discussing the rumors before the facts were published on Monday, May 12.

Just like Cornella at 141 (hasn't competed since 2024 due to injury) and Shapiro, the answer is "yes."  Last time Greg D wrestled, he looked really good.
