Can't help but sympathize with the Iranian coach's sentiment here. Amouzad was robbed.

If I wake up at 4:30AM EST tomorrow, do y'all think I'll catch the round of 16?

There's maps for people like this. Unfortunately, you see a lot of dots

I don't know if you're serious. But this was from last week. This one can't be disputed. Either way you fall on the eye pokes, it's fair.

Honestly, the eye pokes kinda looked bad. And I am jaded by the fishhook at u23s last week, but look at this video.

Maybe dumb question, did you think it should have been a leg foul when Aslanyan elevated Mammadli using his legs to get off his back from the body lock about 2 seconds into the match?

I just watched the match. What did you think about the caution and 1 on the step out?

You're such a douche

I'm going to try at dark horse national finalists and not always stay outside the top 10. 125 Antonio Mills 133 this would require a stacked half of a bracket and feels pointless 141 Zeth Romney 149 Kyler Larkin 157 Jaxon Joy 165 Alessio Perentin 174 Ryan Burton 184 Brock Mantanona 197 Justin Rademacher/Jude Correa HWT Freshman Dreahaun Ross/Coby Merrill

Iran just beat Russia at 72kg in the semis. Peak is eliminated. That means all who have wrestled today are eliminated. Nowry lost in repechage today. He was the only one pulled into repechage from the day before. Xavier Johnson, Otto Black and Beka Melelashvili wrestle tomorrow.

Good point. It's the most blatant thing.

But not scarlet ...

I had heard that rule was still in place for seniors. Is it not?

For Lilledahl, I want to say he usually wrestles close matches because he does in college, but he won u23s last year dominating into the finals and winning 4-0. I give a little merit to the weight cut since he doesn't usually have tough opponents early in tournaments, but he had at least 4 hours after weigh ins before his first match. Either way, he's a 57kg guy in 2028. Back to the topic, nothing has changed here for me. He could go undefeated the rest of his college career, or he could drop a match, possibly 2, in a few of his next 3 seasons because of his tight matches. He's still the favorite. Davino wrestled to expectations for me. Nothing changes related to college season. Depending on the day, any of the 4 guys could win the tournament. Bo still gonna be National Champ. Jordan Williams did what I expected. I am curious he's gonna do next year. I forgot to lay attention to who was in his corner James N/A Sealey will never start. Needs to transfer. Anyways, I hope he doesn't go 157 because that just makes USAW look bad, but we don't know who else got asked before him. Aeoden lost to a guy who has some good wins. The field feels the same. Welsh and Ferrari can make any match a 1 takedown match or go to tiebreakers. Similar to 133, feels like anyone can win. Maybe Shumate is the front runner for the starting spot. Unsure where Rogotzke is compared to him, but he has looked good over the summer in Freestyle. If Rademacher doesn't place top 4 at 197 next year, he needs to go heavy. He should consider doing it now. Has anyone seen Merrill wrestle a tough folkstyle match? I haven't. If he is good at riding and getting off bottom, that style is going to give problems to anyone in the weight. Sidenote, his headgear makes me like him less. It's definitely for headbutting, but I haven't noticed it much since US Open.

Apparently this stayed in my drafts after I posted. I opened back up the browser and saw it all typed out so I pressed submit again. This is not the first time I've seen a reply in my drafts after posting, but the first time I accidentally double posted. Maybe this happens to other people?

As a Buckeye fan, I love having the chance to have Mendez on the team again, but I do not like the idea that only college athletes in Ohio get this extra year and nobody else. It is symbolic of the bullshit shenanigans happening across the NCAA.

I can't say how anyone looked versus prior results. I just look at it as a whole. I can't remember how many guys went 0-1 last year, but I do know we got a few medals and a fifth. I can't gauge the level of their opponents because I don't recognize names like I do in freestyle. I saw your son hurt his ribs. Is he ok? Stupid mistakes? Hard to say. Can you tell me? Many of them lost their second match by a large margin, I saw maybe half of them.

I was gonna say this. The last match for all of our guys was losing by a large margin.

Now that you say that, I have a weak memory of Myles Amine not attending a continental and hearing he justt had to have a representative of San Marino compete at a continental to be able to go to worlds. So I think one of his brothers went and he was at worlds that year. You're probably the one who is right here. Jamaica does not have an entry at 79kg in the preminary release of entries for Worlds. I only saw an entry at heavyweight. I would guess we see him in the mix at 86kg next year. It seems like he could be the second best guy at Pan Ama. If he falls short there, Jamaica would be a candidate for the Last Chance Qualifiee.

Off the top of my head, I don't know. Is that the rule?

I am very hopeful we get to see Merrill vs Nezhad. Another is Minto vs Yousefi. If Minto can win this match. Side note, why isn't he going to seniors for Jamaica? I mostly only recognize wrestlers who've been to prior world championships or wrestlers who have faced higher profile guys at senior events, so I very much appreciate the breakdowns! @Truzzcat @Tyler Perry

For anyone traveling to Vegas to watch the event, it's like a week long event so I'd assume anyone not from Vegas is showing up for freestyle. Plus, it's on a Monday.

This guy said Seidel was going 141 not long ago. Like after he got the u20 spot at 61kg, which made no sense. But it could be true. I saw another video of some guy talking at the camera saying the same thing. He also said AJ Ferrari is engaged again, but to a different woman.

I went straight to the names and overlooked that. This list must be from teams submitted something?
