I think Iowa gets 3 wins. 141 and then two out of 125/133/157/165/HWT. is starocci going to wrestle for sure? If he doesn’t wrestle does Facundo go 174? I feel like Facundo was pretty long and lean and 165. I wonder if the pull to 165 was difficult and he would make a jump in results going up a weight. He’s surely talented and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him in the mix at 174 if CStarr was gone.

They have gotten some wins at 174 also: Kem over starocci and Hall, Meyer over Hall

Satan is okay with getting people to believe anything but the power of salvation by grace through faith in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Satan is not working with the guy on skid row, he's doing some of his most powerful work in "Christian" denominations. He is the great deceiver, the counterfeit, taking seemingly "good" things twisting them to make them evil. 2 Cor 11:13-15 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." Any religion that does not acknowledge the Jesus Christ a member of the godhead and as the eternal savior for mankind is not of God. The only way to the Father, is through the Son. Satan believes in God. Believing in God is not enough to avoid eternal damnation.

Satan knows God's power and sovereignty and wishes to exalt himself above or equal to God. Because the nation of Israel was God's chosen people as outlined in the Abrahamic Covenant in Genesis 12:1-3 & promise of a redeemer is given through the bloodline of David is given in the Davidic Covenant in 2 Samuel 7:12-16 - Satan set his forces of opposition against the nation of Israel. When Christ was crucified on the cross of Calvary, Satan actually thought he had won by defeating the redeemer. What Satan did not realize was that through the cross, Christ's blood was shed as a once for all sin payment for the world. It was the ultimate "gotcha" moment. Satan thought he had victory, but he really gave victory to every person in the human race by the death of Christ. God reconciled himself to the world through the Lord Jesus Christ. Satan is focused on the unbelieving world today to take as many people with him to the lake of fire as he can. He knows that they have a "get out of jail free card" that they can lay at anytime (Faith alone in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ for salvation) so he attempts to blind the people and keep them away from God's redeeming grace. The plan for Satan's eternal punishment is laid out in Revelation and he knows that the Nation of Israel will once again be at the center during the 7 year tribulation period. He thinks that if he can rid the earth of the Jewish people, then there will be no one left from the Jewish lineage to carry out the events that will happen in the 7 year tribulation period. As far as other religions are concerned, they do not believe in Jehovah, the son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ so Satan is they are already in unbelief.

How is there a debate about what side to take in this debate? An Islamic terrorist group bombed and attacked Israeli civilians. It’s absolutely terrible and heartbreaking what is happening over there.

Bible verse for those interested “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:14-15 KJV

It’s horrible but, unfortunately unsurprising. If you are a Bible student you learn in Genesis chapter 3 the promise that God have to Satan that he would bruise the head (Satan’s future eternal punishment in the lake of fire) and Satan would bruise the heal. Ever since that promise Satan has attempted to exterminate the lineage of Christ (OT) and now after the finished work of the cross Satan is trying to rid the earth of the Jewish people. It’s very sad and the USA should stand with the people of Israel.

Mesenbrink has been great at worlds and chances are that will translate to folkstyle. Caliendo did beat Griffith last year and has pushed O’Toole as much as anyone not named David Carr. I think that’s a toss up match until we see further evidence from both guys.
-
The results at NCAA’s haven’t been great but don’t forget that Kem beat Hall and Starocci, Marinelli beat Joseph, it took OT for Haines to beat Seibrect last year, Meyer beat Hall.

Take off the PSU glasses. 157 is a PSU favor but it’s 1v2 definitely a toss up, 165 is a toss up. The jump transfers make in year one at Iowa is real too. I expect Franck and Caliendo to next the next step up in the performance. 141 is an Iowa favorite but I would agree with you that it’s not necessarily a lock. Who knows about AJ but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him at 197 at all, without medical intervention. He stated that he would make 185 for mma if he needed to.

Pheasant season doesn’t start for 2 more weeks here in the good Dakota. Have not tried pheasant on the smoker yet. Could be worthwhile… I always blacken and pan fry it and it comes out tasty.

Maybe so, but he almost had Yianni beat last year. He is dangerous nonetheless. The Cuban, Valdes is very good also. It helps Gomez that Seabass has already qualified the weight and doesn't need to compete there. Not saying he doesn't have the ability to beat Seabass but he would be an underdog and it would be another landmine.

He’s instantly a title contender and puts Michigan in play for the second place finish behind PSU.

Bryce certainly has the height and length to go up and be successful at 165. Not sure if he has the horsepower... maybe! -

For a dual, yes. For points at nationals? No. -
Get my guy Tanner Sloan in at 197.

I interpret it as the team that they are competing on (ex. Iowa wrestling).

Shapiro - is he really a threat to win it as Freshman?

Trying to predict an Andonian match is like trying to rope the wind. I will get the popcorn and be ready for this match. -

Andonian came up from 149 to 157 last year. I would be very surprised if he jumped into 165 this year. He is a legit title threat at 157 and it not at 165 (See O'toole, Keegan and Carr, David).
