  1. I think that most people had Mirasola or Merrill as the U20 97kg reps for the USA last year and then it ends up being Rademacher vs McDanel in the finals with Rademacher winning and representing the USA very well at worlds. I expect him to take a leap forward next year.
  2. Strickenberger was 4-4 at 133 last season and none of the the losses were to 2025 NQ's. He did beat Fuggit, albeit Fuggit at the end of the year was a much different guy than the beginning. Will be interesting to see how 133 goes this year.
  3. Get the talent in and let it sort itself out...
  4. To this point Henson has been pretty adamant about being a career 149 and then going 65kg following.
  5. If this is just a question of who could make a good lightweight coach then I would say that Zane Richards would be an excellent addition.
  6. That is not Jamison's only good career win. He had a win over NCAA finalist Brock Hardy this year (and one last year). He also has career wins over Anthony Echemendia, Cole Matthews, Sergio Lemely, Vince Cornella, Clay Carlson, Sam Latona, Josh Koderhandt, Sammy Alvarez, Mosha Schwartz, Eligh Rivera, Jason Miranda, Jordan Titus, Emilio Ysaguirre.... It's a solid hit list for Tagen.
  7. I can't see Swiderski beating Henson or SVN. I could see him in tier 2.
  8. Sounds like they wrestle a ton, bike a lot and work the versa climber.
  9. Also sounds like they work their tails off. So much for the idea of they just sit around and "have fun". There is no substitute for hard work.
  10. It’s possible. Pyle is pretty adamant that he’s going 97kg. I have zero inside information.
  11. Or he knows Zahid is at 86kg and Brooks is at 97kg
  12. Now with Remy Cotton, you would assume 174: Pinto 184: SCW 197: Cotton
  13. Nowadays S32 has replaced Fargo as the standard.
  14. I think Jamison is definitely a candidate to go up two weight classes. I have heard multiple interviews where guys talk about him being the strongest person they have ever wrestled. It would not surprise me to see a much better version of Cael Hughes up a weight where he is not so depleted. 125- Sprately 133- Figs 141 - Hughes 149 - Swiderski 157- Jamison 165- Dee 174- Facundo / Thompson 184 - Ryder / Thompson 197 - Merrill 285 - Doucet
  15. Sounds like Minto needs to go up because he was a big 165. Could be that Pinto would find himself the odd man out.
  16. Rocky Elam in the portal
  17. Are you thinking of Eric Devos? Started in Apple Valley and finished up in Waverly Shellrock, IA which was where he was from.
  18. That’s right, i forgot that. He was amazing in youth wrestling.
  19. In youth wrestling the best (future career wise) to beat me was Robert Kokesh (3x SD state champ and 3x AA, 3-4-3 at NCAA's for Nebraska). The worst licking I ever took in youth wrestling was to Destin McCauley (ended up being a 6x state champ in Minnesota and a top HS recruit). The best wrestler that I faced in HS was Blake Stauffer (4th at NCAA's for ASU). I believe the score to our match was somewhere in the 10-3 range. I had a hard time getting away from him on bottom.
  20. Very similar path for me. 145-152-171-189 (9-12th grade)
  21. I spell a lot of things wrong but this was not one of them lol.
  22. Doucet would be right in that 6-R12 range to start the year. Top 6 guys in no particular order would be Bastida, Trumble, Ghadiali, Kueter, Feldman & Taylor. They would be a tier ahead of Doucet to start the year and he would be in the Mullen, Pitzer, Amos, Mirasola, Hopke, Attao, etc tier.
  23. Listening to Trent Hidlay on Matcast for NCAA's I thought he would make a good coach.
