  1. Gabe wrestled Greta against Feldkamp and came up clutch but he looked undersized. Wrestle him at 174 (his ideal weight) or redshirt him is my opinion.
  2. No takedown
  3. I think he was banged up off and on throughout the year. People also said that the cut was too much last year. He wrestled 152 in HS
  4. Then again the first stall call was kind of bogus so whatever
  5. Wow why did they not challenge that
  6. Wow! Did not see that coming
  7. 100%
  8. What Aaron Brooks did was what we call negative recruiting. He made a point about joining team Jesus by putting down team Mohammed. When Jesus says “No one cometh to the Father, but through me” it is already implied that no one can come to the Father through anyone else (Muhammad or other). There are many excellent reasons to be on team Jesus (I’d encourage y’all to join if you are not already) and those should have been focused on rather than negative recruiting against team Muhammad. If he had done that, no one would be saying anything about him. To put in wrestling context, Cael shouldnt need to put down Rutgers to get guys to come to PSU. He can just explain the benefits of being a Nit and that will do the talking.
  9. Is Italian a minority? Also add Chris Pendleton, Obe Blanc, Angel Escobedo
  10. And what minority is John smith?
  11. What minority is bono?
  12. They have put a few other into D1 from looking at there website including a few that went to Sacred Heart. Novacs (NCSt) is a Danbury kid also.
  13. Is the McBryde gal that wrestled Deedee kin to Muhamed McBryde - former Buffalo wrestler, current coach at West Virginia?
  14. A good place to start for Sacred Heart would be recruiting Danbury, CT and Ponaganset, RI very hard and trying to establish a pipeline to the local talent.
  15. Tom and Terry.
  16. Yep, controversial refs decision as well I believe.
  17. On the flip side most everyone has also selected Swiderski over VV. VV has not looked great this year but Swiderski did lose to a teammate this year that is now down at 141. When you compare their career accolades up to this point there is not much to suggest picking one over the other. Swiderski's best wins are splitting with Cael Hapel and beating Vince Cornella. VV's best wins are splitting with Jaden Abas, Kellyn March and Mitch Moore.
  18. That low single Olejnik hit had John Smith written all over it. A thing of beauty.
  19. I wonder if perhaps the cut is very hard for Salazar. When he is firing on all cylinders he looks like a title contender. His top game is devastating and he is massive.
  20. Should be a fun dual assuming my Jacks have all guys available. I am curious to see if Berge has closed the gap at all on Salazar. He did not have an answer for Salazar’s tilt last year.
  21. I was comparing to Tony Romo's commentating style moreso than his career accolades. He calls out plays before they happen, provides expect coaching type analysis, etc. It is not simply just commenting on the plays that are happening but rather explaining everything that they think is happening and how it could go better.
  22. 125- Ayala dec Terukina 3-0 133- Teske dec Frost 6-0 141- Woods md Ech 10-0 149- Swiderski dec VV 10-3 157- Franek dec Chittum 13-3 165- Carr dec Caliendo 13-6 174- Arnold dec Gaitan 16-6 184- Feldcamp pin Swafford 16-12 197- Glazier dec Broderson 19-12 285- Bastida tf Hill 19-17 Iowa wins a close one
  23. I would call it similar to Tony Romo. Some love that analysis, others do not.
  24. If Hendrickson was anything close to 100% in that match then Kerk looks like a gold medal threat. Mason was right there with Petrashvili and Wyatt-Mason was a very close match.
  25. It definitely could throw a wrench into seeding that Pinto beat Munoz at this tourney... We shall see.
