I am wondering the same thing... Hidlay has been steamrolling guys. Looks like the clear #2 guy at this point. My top 5 would be Brooks, Hidlay, Buchanan, Sloan & Elam.

As a guy who follows SDSU wrestling very closely, I also do not see it. He is pretty much the same guy. Very dangerous and someone that can pin at any point in a match but heavily reliant on his funk. Before Baylor Fernandes tried to break his arm last year he was really rolling and was able to score in those funk positions more regularly. He definitely was not the same guy after that match last year and I have not seen him be the same guy this year yet. On his gator bacon, he uses his right arm to wrench the neck and that is the arm Fernandes injured. Not sure if that is still a factor or not.

Great crowd tonight in Sioux Falls. The event venue was full so likely around 3,000 people in attendance. 125- Back and forth match, Jordan gets a late takedown to take the match 5-3 over Tanefeu 133- dominant win by fall for Cardinal over Wertanen. Was going to be a tech and then finished off the fall. Wertanen did hit a nice headlock out of bounds. 141- Lemely with his first signature win over Carlson 6-4. Carlson got a lead and tried to hang on. He appeared to be pretty gassed out. He is just coming back from an extended injury so I expect him to get better as he gets his lungs back. 149- Gomez with a 10-4 win over Martin. Man, Gomez is quick. There were some good scrambles in this match. Gomez was on a roll and banged up his elbow and was more conservative after that. 157- Swenson 13-2 over Mattin. Swenson had some very crisp leg attacks and reattacks. He looked great in this match. 165- Mantanona 4-2 over Cook. Typical Tanner Cook match where he attempted a couple gator bacons, a lateral drop a crab ride roll through half over his own back. Cook was very close to scoring at the end of regulation for the win. 174- Griffith 4-1 OT over Devos. Neither guy opened up much in the first two periods. Devos was very close to scoring a single leg as time expired in regulation. Griffith took his first committed leg attack of the match in OT and finished it for the win. 184- Berge 12-5 over Bullock. Best Berge has wrestled in a Jacks singlet. Hoping this is a sign of things to come. He looked great. 197- Sloan tf over Yatooma. Slick duck by Sloan on the second takedown Yatooma outmatched here HWT- Davison tf Rasmussen. Davison too much for Luke Would have liked to see Michigan at full strength. You can only wrestle the guys they send out. Go Jacks!

When Bono was at SDSU he ran a dry program year round I believe. Not sure if that is still the case.

Midco is the major cable/internet provider in the area here. I will be at the dual. Go Jacks!

It will be a good day for wOSU if they get 2+ wins.

I sent Nickerson an email last year after the match with Tanner Cook. He did not respond. troy.nickerson@unco.edu

He ended up surrendering the first takedown but showed a lot of grit fighting off that single leg in the first period. He was in a splits position for a long time.

Gioffre gave Henson a really tough match. He wrestled great.

Andonian is such a wild ride every match. It’s a joy to watch as a wrestling fan.

I can not believe that Nickerson keeps him on the roster. It is a disgrace.

It is very fair to question the sincerity of the apology because of who it is coming from. That being said, it was a genuine apology from the standpoint of the content. The apology expresses regret and disappointment in his actions and behavior (not others feelings toward the behavior). Whether it is sincere is a whole other can of worms. I have my doubts...

I agree that he should apologize to Glazier, the ref, the coaches, etc.. That being said, do those apologies need to be public for us to see? He could have already made these apologies (I doubt he has). If I was a member of the team, him apologizing to everyone behind closed doors, with nothing to gain in the eyes of public perception, would go further than some public twitter/instagram apology.

I think his ceiling is 3rd. I don’t see him beating KOT or Carr and he clearly has had issues beating Amine but he could surely end up 3rd with the right draw.

I don’t recall Spencer throwing a punch, flipping off his opponent or doing the splits and double bird to the crowd..

This is a nothing burger. AJ went full villain mode. This is a push. Not a big deal.

I’ll try to give this a shot while being concise. God is holy, sinless and righteous. His demands for mankind to enter into heaven is for them to be holy, sinless and righteous. Because of the fall of man, sin entered the world. Man is unable to live to the standard that God requires. God gave the law (10 commandments) and had man attempt to follow the law from Exodus til Romans. The result? No one could follow the law and obtain righteousness on their own. The law was given as an act of God’s grace so that sinners could see that they were sinners. From the law is the knowledge of sin. Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross is a payment for the sin debt of mankind. By believing in Christ’s finished work on the cross, each individual is made the righteousness of Christ. His righteousness is put on the believer. A person has to accept the free gift of salvation and does so by simply believing. As Paul puts it to the Philippian jailor in Acts 16 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
