    After watching the Schunke - Hopke match at folkstyle nationals last summer it is hard for me to envision Schunke ever beating Hopke. He must have made some big adjustments.

    Allred is a very tough wrestler and has had good results against pretty much everyone in the NCAA with the exception of Sloan. It is a bad style match up for him. Styles make matches. He hasn't had luck with his neutral game against Sloan and Sloan is much better on the mat than Allred.

    Yeah but he’s wrestled Sloan how many times now and he gets beat by 7-12 points every time.

    He looked very good here. Coming up from 79kg Ringer looked noticeably bigger than Hall to me.

    Why is that if someone shoots a single leg on you and you turn your own body against the knee joint the ref stops it for potentially dangerous? If you go the rubber knee leg defense on your own it should not be potentially dangerous.

    Spencer and Nico both look like large 57kg guys. Both are also extremely flexible.

    Alirez takes out Pantaleo 4-3. Some very nice leg attacks in the 2nd period.

    I think it would be best for the Mirasola's to go 184 & 197. Mirasola the larger seems to be every bit as talented as the smaller he just wrestled up 23 pounds.

    Hard to believe how good some of these HS kids are. Lilledahl and him have been impressive. Sealy and Mirasola also.

    Kolozdik forgets to wrestle the last 7 seconds of the match and Beau Bartlett secures a takedown to beat him on criteria.

    Pretty impressive win by Mirasola as a HS kid competing at 86kg. Owen Webster is pretty tough and he had nothing for Misasola.

    Campbell has a top 25 guy in Levi Hopkins at 197.

    Didn't he leave when OKst had the year where they were not allowed to compete at NCAA's due to the rules violations? Pat Smith redshirted that year and I believe that Alan Fried stayed and just lost a year of eligibility.

    Gomez is a legit title contender for sure. He is a tier 1 guy with Lovett, Henson and Parco.

    It would just end up watering down both 197 and 285 though. Maybe if the upper weights were just stretched out a bit 174, 190, 210 or something like that?

    When I say that Fix is his guy I meant more than just a wrestler on his team. Daton has been the center of OSU wrestling for the better part of a decade and has had tremendous success (2,2,2,4 at NCAA's and a world silver medal). He is the face of the program and revered in Stillwater. Crookham is a tough up and comer and I think Smith is more or less saying pump the breaks on this guy until he wrestles my stud (who he thinks will kick Crookhams butt).
