Jax has 2 wins over world team members 3 wins over national champs an old win over Luke and Marcus. PJ has 2 wins over national champs no wins over former team members (did win a bracket with one). I think recency bias leans Jax and PJ a bit however I think overall body of work leans Marcus a smidge still. I do agree PJ and Jax have a lot more ways to score though. Red Viking has one thing right. The deficit is still going to be there (even though he never complained under Biden) and that is not good. He wants to tax his way out of it while increasing spending. That doesn't work. What is the current spending level? $6.8 Trillion. What is proposed spending level? It should not be more than $6.8 Trillion. What is projected treasure receipts? This year $5.2 Trillion. That means they need to cut 30% of the proposed spending to make ends meet. Or they could cut 15% this year, and let income grow the next year. Then cut another 15% the next year and we are balanced. No auto increases in the budget. Hold to current levels and cut that to meet the projected amount of income. Then Moodys will be happy and we will be on the way to better fiscal discipline. mspart

I'll take a stab. First, I agree with the spirit of what you are saying but it is a little too Disney. The founding fathers had different perspectives and many disagreements. The claim that we are not a Christian nation would've not held true in the 1700's. What the founding fathers all agreed on is that we should not be a theocracy. Many during that era were very suspicious of Methodist and Quakers for being loyalist to the British empire. You can say the battle that was happening at that time was within the different sects of Christianity itself. Second, we were very much a "white" country for whites. So much so that even later in the 1800's we set up schools to turn Native Americans into "whites" and disown their "savage" customs and heritage.

I often wonder if any of the phenoms actually regret being held back? Clearly many of them are ready for NCAA competition now and they are stuck competing another year or two with high schoolers. Your body only has so many years of this kind of grind. Especially the ones that have senior level aspirations, why not get to the better stuff sooner rather than delay it?
