  1. 57 KG Spencer wins gold on a last second TD on Micic. He was up 9-0, then down 10-9 and Spencer gets that last second takedown when everyone had wrote him off as dead. 65 KG Zain pulls off at least two B&A on his way to Gold over... duhn duhn duhnnnnn... GOMEZ, who tossed him for four twice and still loses via Tech. 74 KG Dake wins via Dake Bomb in the Gold Medal match over Chamizo and doesn't allow a single point the entire tournament. 86 KG Brooks is drawn in to face Yazdani Round 1, similar to DT's first Worlds and BLAMMO: Brooks takes him out. Brooks then loses to Kurugliev. Yazdani doesn't medal. Kurugliev then loses to Amine. Brooks doesn't medal. Amine then beats Dauletbekov for Gold. I watch as the ultimate proverbial 'F-U' is delivered to my screen as Dieringer carries Amine around the mat on his shoulders and I slam three gallons of Captain Morgan and fifteen Natty Daddy's. 97 KG Snyder wins every match ~5-1 on the way to Gold. 125 KG Parris bears Zare via Pinfellery in 1M17S.

  2. So my post was from March 25th Whiting and Boersma hadn't transferred yet. So my opinion now. 125- Surtin (but unlike last year he will have some people to spell him from time to time. I heard Freshman Gage Walker is down here. So he might push things) 133- Kade Moore (Crawford is still there and Jake Crapps could push him as well) 141- Josh Edmond (round of 12. Could be AA. Zeke Seltzer could also be a player here if he is not 149) 149- Seltzer (if he has grown into one), Pulliam, McCallister or Gioffre (Gioffre may end up being the 157 which is why I put him last. But Pulliam majored Willochell, McCallister was their biggest 2023 recruit, and Seltzer could be the guy here if he has put on 149 muscle) 157- Gioffre or Fisher (Fisher is listed as the starter on wrestlestat. He didn't wrestle a match last year but in his redshirt year he beat 2 national qualifiers in Dejon Castro and Jared Hill. So maybe) 165- Steed or Conway (Conway still may try to make 157) 174- KOT 184- Hawks 197- Elam (If Elam can't go, Then Sinclair or Hawks) 285- Nitzel (entered the portal but is on Mizzou's roster)

  3. okay if you guys can bear with me, I have added a color coding to show 1) Wrestlers that entered the transfer portal, and were subsequently removed from their team's roster. They still have eligibility but are not currently a member of any team (in orange) 2) Wrestlers that entered the transfer portal, did not land with a team, and were subsequently removed from 5. It’s simple. Saying there was an insurrection on Jan 6th is a lie. Blaming Trump for what happened that day is a lie. Saying it was three hours before Trump messaged for folks to “be peaceful” and to “respect law enforcement” “they’re on our side” is a lie. TDS is real.

  6. Abraham Lincoln was a senior at Carl Sandburg High School with a record of 36-4. He dreamed of a wrestling scholarship from the University of Illinois, but he was only #98 on the senior big board. So, the lanky rail-splitter hopped a wagon train to the Northwest Territory to wrestle in the 9 stone 7 pound weight class at Fargo. Old Timers say he wrestled like a furious shaved bear. The young railsplitter teched his way to the finals, setting up a match with the champion from Virginia, Robert E. Lee. Well, my friends, that was a sight! Over 40,000 fans dressed in their Sunday’s best watched on a nearby hillside while picknicking on boiled squirrel and pumpkin sandwiches. In the first period, Lincoln emancipated and proclamated for the full three hours, building up a sixty-point lead. During intermission, though, his corner had to reattach a finger, which had been chewed off by the Virginian. Forty minutes into the second period, his reserves exhausted, Lee surrendered. A table was set up in the center of the mat, and Lee formally signed the “Articles of Agreement Relating to the Surrender of the Wrestler Robert E. Lee.” You can see this document displayed on the second floor of the National Archives building in Washington, D.C. This article was brought to you by The Society for a More Interesting Though Dubious History and because of donations from viewers like you. Also, Mike Poeta was the #1 recruit in the land coming out of high school and was said to be faster than a stalling call in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

  7. The most undemocratic outcome possible. This man is so beloved that 90+% of the primary voters selected him. 81 million "voters" make him the most democratic democrat in the history of democracy. This is nothing short of an insurrection thwarting the will of the people.

  8. Billy, are you saying that they did not have resources to cover that rooftop that was in plain sight of the stage? Or is it SS procedure to wait for a would be assassin to fire first before taking any action whatsoever to stop more shooting? I have heard a recording of the SS guys talking about the guy on the rooftop, pointing him out, and doing nothing. If that is normal protocol, I suggest a new protocol be developed where such rooftops are not left unmanned and if so, someone on there gets shot, especially if they have a firearm. Even if they don't. mspart

  12. You can think I am doing the same all you want. I did watch all the footage and the speeches and never once did anything I heard Trump say indicate to me in the slightest that he wanted that to happen, he was imploring people to do it, nor incited it in anyway. Because a bunch of wackaddoodles twist things in their head and use that as an excuse to do stupid things doesn't put the blame on Trump, it puts the blame where it belongs...on the whackadoodles who thought it was a good idea to storm the capital. If someone can show me once slice of evidence that shows he specifically called for this to happen and/or someone who did storm the capital said that he was told by Trump or his staff to storm the capital then I would put the blame on Trump.

  14. I didn’t see the dimocrat ballot, but the Republican ballot didn’t have any vice presidents on it. Trump didn’t even choose his till last week and Biden could have changed his, as some dims wanted. So I don’t think you can honestly say she got any votes.

Meaning if the criminal allegations were flimsy or frivolous, you'd think more than one program would have given him a shot.

  23. Given the makeup of their current coaching staff, the Scarlett Knight fans over on their team forum seem to emphasize that the new candidate should meet a couple requirements: 1) It should be someone who has personally experienced division one wrestling excellence as a wrestler (not just as a coach) 2) It should be someone ideally who is an upper weight Given those asks, I've seen the name Kollin Moore thrown into the wish list. I would ask myself why not J'Den Cox who just left his shoes on the mat? And as a more under the radar option, maybe someone like Jordan Wood or even Greg Bulsak.

  26. Yeah, most of the VT folks knew this but is an awesome opportunity for both programs. I was thinking the buckeyes wouldn’t be on VT’s starting next season for some reason so it’s good to get another quality dual on the schedule. I wish we could get PSU back on our schedule. That was an awesome home match to watch in Blacksburg

  27. No one has mentioned Dave Schultz. His senior year he won the Great Plains Championships pinning 2x NCAA Champ Chuck Yagla at the event. He wrestled in the Tbilisi tournament finishing 2nd. Those results were both in freestyle though he also won the US senior open in greco. In terms of accomplishments in high school Schultz and Carr might be at the top of the heap. Cejudo is close too. He won the senior open in high school and also beat NCAA Champ Jason Powell whilst in high school. He lost in the finals of the WTT to Sammie Henson. Has anyone else won the senior open/WTT/OTT in high school? There are probably 10 or so guys who have placed at one of those as a high schooler - Blaze, Kolat, Forrest, Stieber, Valencia. Fried? I think Snyder and Pico didn't really start winning on the senior level until they had graduated.
