I can confirm that I was asked twice. I respectfully declined. Has asked me if I could invent peanut butter again. It was an odd request.3 points

It seems inconceivable that there could be a security failure of this magnitude. !50 to 200 yards away for any killer is nothing. Could this guy be hired gun? They say he had no I.D. on him. Is it possible he is a hired assassin?1 point

Oh yeah the other comment from HR is that they seem to think if they get a transfer that is not currently in the portal they think they can get a waiver.1 point

My understanding is they can’t get in trouble as long as their staff stays out of it. But to your second point, yeah I’m sure something like that (just not Cael himself) could and probably already does happen. Kerk being one example who may have been influenced by others to transfer to PSU.1 point

I’ve heard him bring it up before, usually in the context of greedy corporations, as he did this time.1 point

Having witnessed family members go down this same path towards dimentia as well as having family members in this field tgat specialize in these things, I know that there are activities for people to do that are supposed to heighten the senses as well as negate the apparent deterioration of one's mental capacities and cognitive abilities. They aren't particularly intended for press conference type situations but for extending the life a person's mind before they are no longer themselves. I imagine Biden has the best doctors and people on this planet on the job for this, but alas they are not meant for this sort of extreme experiment. They are highlighted by repeating key names and points and having the subject also repeat them as well. If the mind becomes lost during a non-private outting they may suddenly recall parts of their drills and it may seem as if it is a sudden departure from the current subject with a fixation on a new one. I do believe that was how his rent control came about. They attempted to train him for a particular series of questions and his mind became lost and his recall kicked to a random spot.1 point

I read the thread on HR. Main other additional detail is talking about how supposedly ASU has reported Iowa and that Pritts and Brands “got into it“. Doesn’t seem like many of them listened to Tom Ryan’s interview where he said it was perfectly legal for people to offer money to guys to enter the portal as long as they are not part of the team’s staff.1 point

This. apparently a lot of people commenting here didn’t watch the video, just responded to the headline.1 point

I don’t recall following that one like this one but it did create some excitement on a daily basis. I’m not happy about the direction of the sport and this thread infused a little excitement, at least for me.1 point

DJT's name was on the bracket at the 1962 National Prep championships for NY Military Academy and the weight was won by future HOF Distinguished Member Bill Harlow. That bracket was displayed at the New York Athletic Club for a period of time. He's not everyone's cup of tea by any stretch, but we've embraced people as wrestlers for far less.1 point

Correction to OP - "hit him on the side of the head" is incorrect. He's fine. The blood was coming from his ear, not his head. Specifically, the upper part of the ear where fake wrestlers have cut themselves (or people close to them did) for decades to use real blood to make fake incidents look real without doing any real damage at all. That was right before the "iconic" photos. Not my word, that word has already been posted by Trump fans all over the place, and is already being used as a promotional tool. It's even been used here in the other thread on the topic. Oh, and right after Trump started his brief speech where he was constantly looking to his right for some odd reason. That struck me as quite odd as I watched it. But - then again, if he looked directly at the audience, there could be no explanation how his ear could have stopped a bullet without hitting his head. I won't even get started on the BBC interview about the people who were pointing out the guy with the rifle on the roof while SS and police ignored them. No conspiracy theory here. Just some thoughts to share. It'll be interesting to find out the 'shooter's story - and if anybody in the audience was hurt (at this point, that has been reported, but not yet confirmed.) One thing that is guaranteed. This will keep Trump in the headlines and conversations for the next week.-1 points
