  2. Even if they had gotten the name right, the bigger error is calling a 2-1 score in a Will Lewan match “slower than expected.”

  4. When other teams do it it’s bad for the sport. It’s not what the fans want. Duals and big matchups matter. Grow the sport. Start 50 threads about ducking. Etc. when psu does it. Meh. Y’all have some double standards.

  5. I think Amine must have a large cut down to 165 given that he was so hungry he resorted to attempted cannibalism

  6. I do not hate Michigan, I actually think they have a nice team, but the majority of their guys didn't attempt anything resembling an offensive move last night. PSU smoked them last night, and it wasn't because of reattacks. You can't reattack a collar tie.

  7. Now ranked #7, guessing he might move up by NCAA's if he wins out through Easterns. Three other pretty tough guys at 197 in EIWA: Cardenas - Cornell; Luke Stout - Princeton; and Louie DePrez - Binghamton. So winning Easterns will likley mean at least two tough matches for him. Might be better off with the 6th or 7th seed as the best chance to make the NCAA finals. He looks very tough. Brooks, Hidlay and Buchanan are seniors and he apparently has another year after this one.

  12. Looks like it's Deshazer & RBY in the gold match. Bracket screen is a little wonky but it's showing that Deshazer teched Cruz 10-0 in 0:31 and Nasdeo 10-0 in 0:35!! RBY teched Kale Lauridsen 14-4 (5:52) and Diamantino Iuna Fafe (Guinea Bissau) 5-0. Brackets: https://fflutte.smoothcomp.com/en/event/14808/schedule

  13. Michigan's lack of intensity coupled with reluctance to actually wrestle was startling. I hope Coach is asking himself questions on how not to produce that product again. Because that was gross...

  14. He sounded real humble in his interview with Flo when he was "sick" last night. Shows up for the interview to talk smack about Griffith but can't wrestle. Outstanding

  18. We really just need to compile a list of all wrestling related movies and documentaries and pin it someplace for future reference. While I’m on a roll of the lesser famous documenteies: “Shot in the Dark” about a blind wrestler trying to compete at state. “Zion” about a wrestler trying to compete that doesn’t have any legs.

  21. In deference to the esteemed Vak, it is incumbent upon this humble observer to proffer a lighthearted rejoinder couched in the refined vernacular often ascribed to legal discourse. Pray, permit me to opine that Vak's commendable perspicacity in discerning the purportedly opinion-laden nature of the midmost three sentences is not without merit. However, one must proffer a jestful demurral, positing that the alignment of dissent with two assertions and concurrence with a singular proposition bears semblance to the capricious musings of a legal brief, where the scales of allegiance may tilt with an unpredictable equipoise. This amiable repartee, while embracing the spirit of camaraderie, endeavors to evoke a whimsical appreciation for the nuances of Vak's discerning critique. #LawyerSpeak

  35. Two things can be true. The lineup this year has had terrible injury luck, and at full strength is a top 8-10 tournament team. That said, from a development standpoint, whatever's going on at ASU must be reworked. They are never pushing the pace, and they are horrendous on top/bottom. They have guys who have spent five years there that still can't figure out a leg ride on the bottom.
