I am not a conspiracy theorist but, in my opinion, we would all be pretty stupid to think that voting fraud doesn't happen more than we know. Hell, there is cheating in every single thing people do in the US if there is a chance for financial gain, so why wouldn't there be cheating in regard to one of the biggest money and power grabs there is...the presidency of the United States?4 points

LJB and Dole went at it and Mike just went away. Those two had some insights that no one else here can provide. Some of the folks here went mad because of the words of those two. Folks aren't nearly as tough as they think they are.4 points

Some people, not saying Lee did this, try to win every second of every match. Doing that that might put you down even more than you should be very early and against a guy who's gas tank is ~90 seconds long, if you don't show patience you will lose via Tech. Actually, I am saying that is what happened. Through the WTT process Lee showed an incredible amount of patience in several of his matches. If he does that against Musukaev, he wins.4 points

Another example was when one member claimed ‘tyrannical raid’ on mar a lago. The director corrected him that it was not a raid, it was a legally executed search warrant where they knocked on the door, identified who they were and what they were doing there, and asked them to step outside, which they did without incident. The member said and they went in weapons drawn. Director said they were not weapons drawn, they had weapons, they always have their weapons but they were not drawn. The member replied, yeah and they went into an American family home. Their father’s home. The point of this hearing is not to find facts. The point of this hearing is for MAGA republicans to drill non maga republicans so maga citizens can jerk off in front of their TV and send them more money.3 points

Just for clarification, the ruling does not say the owner is allowed to refuse service because they are gay, they are just not forcing the owner to decorate the message. In other words, if the (fake) customers decided okay just bake the cake and icing, we'll worry about the decoration....the owner would not have been able to legally refuse.3 points

i haven't banned anyone, and certainly not Mike. LJB was, to my understanding, given a temporary ban for posting something obscene. @BobDole knows more. i'm not a big fan of banning or censoring anyone or any topic but when it occurs, feel free to ask why.3 points

I say Congress should pass a bill that disallows Bob Dole from voting anymore. Him being an R, I would think Biden would sign that quickly. He probably doesn't know Bob now votes D. mspart3 points

Well, it was obvious that he wouldn’t say much of anything other than to defend the FBI’s missteps. This is where the distrust for the government comes from, and why there are so many “conspiracy theories”. Why does the Federal government have over a billion classified documents going back a century? Why did Biden extend the classification on the JFK documents when everyone who was tangentially involved is now deceased, and the “means and methods” are so outdated they are irrelevant? If it isn’t to protect persons or methods, it only leaves one thing for them to want to protect: institutions. Again, I’m not into conspiracies one bit. They don’t intrigue me whatsoever (probably why I don’t know shit about Ray Epps), but you’d have to be a complete idiot to not be able to acknowledge why they exist and run rampant.2 points

There’s a lot to this whole case that I could sit here and type out, all of it based on time I’ve spent seeking info on on it, because in the first year or so after 1/6 I felt like it was a important piece. Instead I’ll just relate what I’m seeing here, which is a good bit of “I haven’t really paid a lot of attention to…” -But- “I still know what happened and who’s to blame” I mean, what can I say? You can either buy what you’re fed, or not. It’s not up to me to convince anyone of anything. People that really want to know about something will seek it out.2 points

If a junior has an Olympic RS available, he could use it this season (2023-24) and sit out 30% of the 2024-25 season. Assad has his RS and an Olympic RS available to use2 points

but before this decision.. the jewish customer could have sued the muslim baker to have it made... they dont object to making the cake... the baker from colorado objected to what was on the cake... you should look it up. this is a trans rant below... but it's part of the slope we have been on "we just want to be seen we just want equality we just want marriage we just want your children" i was fine with all of it until the last one. the baker in colorado was sued and won... at least twice...and they still wont leave him alone2 points

Interesting little fact... Hoffman AA'ed at VATech in 2006 wrestling for Tom Brands.. Perry won 2 National Titles for Iowa under Tom Brands2 points

The '01 Blair Team I still consider the best team in HS history. Cooperman, Esposito, Perry, Backes, And Mocco. Perry lost in the finals at Prep Nationals that year to Dave Hoffman (Hill School) who was no slouch. Storniolo (Haverford) also won a Prep title that year before moving out to State College and finishing his career competing in PIAA.2 points

That was an absolutely inexcusable lack of knowledge and preparation against Musukaev. I was absolutely shocked by that. Even if he gets put on the clock two times and gets taken down a time or two in the first, a guy with a motor like Nick Lee should know that if he’s still in the match (behind 9 or less) in the second period, he has a chance. A good one, even. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

... that Cassioppi, Focus & The Gable all wrestle HWT for Iowa this season? Will they split up the dual meets, will all three enter the in season tournaments, how will they decide who gets the b10 tourney. Wrestling fans on these here board deserve to know the odds. Jimmy?1 point

It's reasonable to put Dake ahead of Taylor in the p4p list based on their head-to-head results. But as of now, I am more impressed with Taylor's freestyle resume. At 2018 and 2019 worlds, Dake's best win was against Hasanov. Then at 2021 and 2022 worlds, his best win was against Salkazanov. (In both 2021 and 2022, Sidakov and Kadzi were missing from the field.) Meanwhile, each time Taylor won gold, he had to beat Yazdani. Plus, Dake does not have an Olympic title while Taylor does.1 point

Nobody even scored a point against Gable during the '72 Olympics in Munich. I got to meet a couple of guys from that team over the next couple of years, Gable, Peterson brothers, Chris Taylor. I met Chris at Russ Houk's Wrestling Camp. Anyone remember that? The race around the lake? Back then, it was really special to be able to see and meet big time wrestlers. We did not travel like we do now, and the information was far more limited.1 point

You’re just mad you can’t stalk Elon’s jet on Twitter anymore. And it’s not that criticism of Elon is censored, it’s that he’s so great there’s nothing bad to be said about him. Hard to ban something that doesn’t exist. There will always be people on the fringe who want to live in an alternate reality. Do you chastise those people, help propagate their false reality or provide proof of the truth? Again, I don’t think it is a Biden family member’s coke (it wasn’t in the preferred rock form, after all). Let’s be honest, though, if this happened four years ago, it would be on every station claiming it’s one of the Trumps’ or how much of a disgrace to the presidency it was that coke was found in the WH or how inept the administration is for not finding out whose it was. Cocaine possession in DC is a misdemeanor with a small fine… hell, pretty sure you need to kill multiple people (or be a republican protesting) to get jail time in DC now…1 point

As an Okie State fan I've seen this speculation quite a few times but I say no way to Fix regressing or needing a change of scenery. I know it's a fun thought exercise to wonder "what if" but with the crazy amount of buildup to NCAAs this year and subsequent let-down I think Fix's deal is all expectations and emotions. Doesn't matter that Vito destroyed everybody, Fix was *supposed to win* - home crowd, rematch with RBY, all that. I've matched nearly all of Fix's matches over his 15 year long (lol) college career both folkstyle and freestyle. This past dual season, Fix looked better than ever - stronger, faster, smarter, more dominant, more varied offense, more turns. Think he was taken down once and no opponent even sniffed a chance at victory. He does seem to lock up a bit and rely too much on his couple of main moves at times but it's been that way since his freshman year. And he still handled DeSanto with relative ease to make world team alternate which was part and parcel during their college matchups. No idea what happened with the Nashon match, other than speculation that Nashon prepared for Daton and Daton prepared to do Daton things. And no comment on the water bottle (well plenty of comments, no need to get into it though lol) Love the rest of the list though! Not a criticism at all. Just me being an Okie State homer I am waiting to see Retherford jump levels. He certainly has the chops but maybe freestyle's lesser focus on mat wrestling is the difference maker here. Dude was an absolute animal with turns and pins.1 point

The firing of Fitzgerald tells you how serious this is. He was basically the king of Evanston.1 point

And I forgot Aaron Brooks. Slot him in at 12 below Zahid and above Vito. It's my p4p and I can do what I want. Just be glad I didn't include Spencer Lee.1 point

Tier 1: The best of the best 1) Snyder - if not for the top p4p in the world, Snyder would be chasing down the likes of Yodanov, Fadzaev, Bloglazov, Satiev, and possibly even Medved. I believe Snyder is the #2 p4p in the world. 2) Dake - did you know that he still beats Taylor when they rarely go live? 3) Taylor - One blemish at a diminished '21 worlds that I won't hold against him. Tier 2: Because of previous time away, current WWE obligations, and until a repeat of Tokyo is completed I cannot be convinced otherwise 4) Steveson Tier 3: Well, hmm, what do we do about this guy because it's going to be really inconsistent with a certain GOAT in the tier below... 5) Cox Tier 4: Significant drop from the above until proven otherwise 6) Retherford - finally put together a good tourney last year. Was it lightning in a bottle that is propping him up at this current ranking? 7) Marstellar - to be the man you gotta beat the man. I cannot put him below JB but anything less than a finals appearance is going to drop you real hard in the p4p rankings (note: p4p is not the same as 1:1 matchups) 8 ) Richards - to be the man you gotta beat the man 9) Burroughs - pain putting this name this far down. Reigning world champion that could very well have repeated if he retained his spot. I really think he is no lower than 6 but the WTT results say otherwise. Pain. 10) Gilman - three time medalist (four if you want to count '21 Oslo where no one at 57 showed up) that was just knocked off the top of the mountain. Similar sentiment as JB but obviously to a much, much less degree 11) Zahid - proven international results with domestic barriers 12) Vito - I'm all in but that's my heart not my mind doing the talking. Results required. Tier 5: Getting into the mud 13) Fix - Still can't believe he got rocked so bad by Nashon. Strongly looking like a regression and a change of scenery is necessary. And maybe a swig of ol' dad's water bottle. 14) Suriano - I think Suriano is still better than our 65 group and he has international results to back it up. 15) N. Lee - Ehh 65. And he got torqued by Musukaev like he just kicked his dog. 16) Yianni - Yep. Still 65. But he broke the drought! 17) Parris - Has a good opportunity to jump up the p4p ladder with good results Thursday & Friday. I hope he takes advantage because his opportunities are going to be limited. 18) Hendrickson - He's that good, he's just in a domestically stacked weight. I believe he would bring home hardware right now if he started doing the senior circuit. He's just behind a medal contender who's behind the best in the world. It's a JB/Dake/Taylor/Howe problem at 125. 19) Gwiz - Father Time is undefeated and that's a shame. He might still be able to beat Hendrickson but I believe it would only be the first time and the results would swing the other way going forward. 20) Kerk - Don't sleep on the big boring tree if he ever puts it together. Big IF. Did I mention 125 is our deepest weight?1 point

I agree with all of the above except the inclusion of Yianni. 65 has always been a crapshoot domestically and the p4p rankings should reflect as much.1 point

Side note to last weekends tourny... USA 125Kg Hill was quite small, in comparison to Mahil from Canada. And despite that, he was in the match till the end. (Though, after going behind 1-1 criteria after Mahil got the shot clock point, I felt it would be an uphill climb for Hill. Pun was unintentional, of course! ) D31 point

can you tell us what topics you think there is in-fighting regarding among citizens? and you think the problem is 'dopes like me' making a joke on a message board about Ketanji Brown not knowing what a woman is, but not the fact that we just put a Supreme Court Justice on the court that refuses to accept science. I'll say that again - a Supreme Court Justice, whose only job is to follow science and the law, refuses to accept a very basic concept because of the current cultural climate. it's the definition of politicizing a court. but yeah, dopes like me are the problem1 point
