The point is that at 19 years old, they should probably be in college, not in high school. In my opinion, watching world class wrestlers who are adults whooping up on high schoolers lacks sportsmanship. But, I am old school. Maybe this is a newer thing that is now acceptable. I just wish it weren't so.

I watched them both in the Bishop McCort vs Central Cambria HS match (a 65-0 blowout). To me, a recruited all-star team that includes 19 year old men pounding a local school into oblivion is not a good look. These two should be in college.

Abuse of the breather bricks.

No, the season must be as long and insufferable as possible to demonstrate how tough wrestlers are. Starving through the holidays while everyone else is gorging themselves, losing out on the joy of Thanksgiving and Christmas because "breaks" are really just time for more practices. Injuries don't heal during "breaks" anyway. ...and all this while trying to make the grade. This misery should continue. It is what made us what we are. It is not about "having fun" as some have professed. This is wrestling, after all.
