If "The Point" is that you suffer from a severe learning disability, no one missed that fact.

I could be mistaken but I believe there is no advancement point for winning in the finals. I believe 30 is the maximum amount an individual can score at NCAAs
You also included both wrestlers bonus before multiplying.
16 place + 4 adv + 10 bonus = 30 x 2 = 60 points.

You are correct about no advancement point for winning the final bout. However, if a wrestler is in a pigtail and becomes the champion, they would have earned five advancement points plus any bonus. A single person’s best total would be:

16 place + 5 adv + 12 bonus = 33 points.

Isn't he a 133 pounder? Wouldn't that be like insulting a marmoset?

I have a coach who used to make a joke about this.

He'd say, "nobody gives a -____ about a State Champ at 103 or 106....they still have to fear for their life when they walk into a bar."

Hard to argue! And they're ALWAYS the guys starting the fights!

(This doesn't include the likes of Tommy Rowlands who started off at 103 and then Wrestled HWT...).

Humphrey's deserves it...

I lost a pool on him "losing" to Austin O'Connor. I had Haines winning it, Humphrey taking 2nd and O'Connor taking 3rd.

I think it was the semi's, but Humphrey's was down 5-4...IIRC, but that could have been two years earlier as they were in the exact same scenario twice. Either way, down 1, needs the escape. He kicks out at about 2 seconds, he's on the mat rolling, 5 feet between him and O'Connor, starts to come up to his feet, clock hits zero as the ref calls time and...they said no loss of control.

This one still bugs me;

Humphreys tied it until riding time was awarded.   at about tens seconds left the riding 'time  locked' comes up then disappears.  the 2 second escape makes it 3-3  then riding time. Maybe then they decided not to award the escape? because real clock time I didnt care to keep watching.

Thought Biden already did, hence why he started the season.

Can't be this one.  They awarded the 1, and AOC had riding time anyway.

I thought they called a stalling point to make it 3-3 and then looked to see if there was also an escape. Not sure what Scott was yelling about. Otherwise, if it was a warning and an escape it still didn't change who was winning.

I can't edit this, @scourge165, but I misremembered how this played out, and now remember. I understand the complaint.  Not sure why AOC let go, nearly a catastrophic mistake for him.

He's more likely to start an insurrection, impose tariffs, hawk some cheap product with his image on it, or request construction on the arena and stiff the Philadelphia workers by never paying them.

SocraTease in case you haven’t watched the news, there may already be an insurrection started and it’s not the people on the right burning Teslas, charging stations and taking over buildings. You may also have forgotten about our cities being vandalized and burned as well.

Please, I beg you. Go to the cities you think are on fire. They are fine. We are fine. I have no other comment on this because I have no interest in getting into political arguments on a college wrestling board. I'm with @NormMacDonald (RIP).

If you are in Philly, I beg you to go to the corner of Kensington and Allegheny especially after dark.   If you make it out alive, you'll change your mind.
