OK I’m confused, the link above only has  Iowa as having Bassett and one other kid from McCort who is unranked.  How does that get them to #1?  OSU has #3, 22, 84; and Michigan has #14, 16, 17, 27

maybe based on projected NCAA points not duals??  only the #1 and the #3 count;  and 1 earns more points

I'll believe it when I see them beat Iowa.

OSU hasn't done well against them for some time now & the initial surge from the guys has slowed.

Tom is a good dual coach for the most part. We will see how Taylor does - whether is is just trying to copy Cael or pushing forward on his own. Does he decide to shave his head soon?

I can’t imagine he will get pushed much if any harder than he has been by his dad and himself already.  The dude already works out at 4:55am every day.  I’m more worried about has he maxed out his potential already, which is still at the level of beating past national champs in FS, so of course not too shabby.  But the last time we saw him wrestle D1 competition (albeit as a HS sophomore) he squeaked out a win over a guy that is 2-4 this year.

How will they possibly make a kid who gets up to train at 5 AM every day into a grinder?  He is training 2-3x a day already lol

a)  I don't think Bo is going to be some world beater.  He'll have success at the next level but if he wins 2 titles I'd be surprised.  Angelo is the best wrestler in the Hawkeye program at the moment to have a legendary career.  @VakAttack if you'd like to bookmark this and dunk on me after Bassett's 3rd title I'll gladly take the beatdown my friend.

b) Bo's greatest asset is his marketing and hype.  If his recruitment hype helps the Raney brothers across the line and he somehow manages to get Jax in Iowa City (who is the better college prospect) then he'll be the most important ingredient to Iowas success in the latter part of this decade
