    rumors around Madison, Big Cass will be promoted to Assistant Head Coach and Joe Zargo will be added to the staff. Not really anything to get excited about.

    Does anyone know what I'm supposed to be doing? - Chris Bono ...... probably in UW news, Wisconsin's AD just stepped down to take a roll with the Big Ten, please lord and baby Jesus hire a pro wrestling AD that sees the ineptitude of the current head coach!!

    He was one match away from AA this year, he has gone thru a ton at Madison, Freshmen year (mom was sick) then battling shoulder injury the last two years, healthy this year and was a match away from AA. I expect him to be on the podium next season. No shame in him sticking around, he will leave with a degree from a world class university, and maybe just maybe AA/National Champ next season.

    Now that Reader announced he is leaving UW, If I'm Amos, I take a page out of DJs book and head to Stillwater for my senior year. Good 1 year fill in so they can bulk up Ross, or head to Ann Arbor. I can see Zan hitting the road too, head back to Mizzou or Minnesota/Nebraska/Illinois Things are not bright in Madison

    Reader pulled down 156k last year according to open records. that's not including any camps/speaking engagements. in his new role I'm sure he will be making a considerable amount more.

    In my opinion, Bono need to hit a homerun on this hire, and no disrespect to Cass & Model he can't promote one of them to the lead assistant role, he needs a difference maker. Bono is not liked among the HS coaches and clubs, need someone that can be that conduit, and lure some kids to Madison. Make or break hire for Bozo.

    I curious to see a healthy Braxton Amos up at 285 coming off his redshirt. Working with T Cass and not cutting weight, should be an interesting year for Braxton

    Actually, schools can pay NIL NCAA, Power 5 agree to deal that will let schools pay players - ESPN Regardless, UW won't focus on wrestling, nor with the Varsity collective, they are paying Football, basketball, hockey, & womans volleyball. Bono & company started the MadtownR3, it's their own NIL fund, not sure how much funding they have, but I saw a video of Zan being given a truck recently from the MadtownR3

    Amos is well into the 285 class, dude bulked up during his redshirt year. look at his IG, BA put in the work.

    Here we are a week removed from NCAA's and Bono still has a job. Did Zan Fugitt's over performance save Bono's bacon? Based on the horrible hire Mac just made for Womans basketball, it just goes to show, he is fixated on revenue driving sports and wrestling will soon be a club level or NAIA program at UW. There is no other reason to hang on to this certified turdbiscuit.
