  1. I am hoping he focuses on health and goes 65 KG.

  2. He didn't give me loads of stuff but there is a recruit from a big time PA high school for wrestling, around the 170lb weight that I believe won Fargo that is super interested in PSU. You may be able to guess the high school. He wouldn't tell me the name because he is not allowed. Aaron Nagao and Braeden Davis are super nice kids according to this booster. Tyler Kasak 100% had a concussion last year. There is one PSU wrestler who started the last two years who is legit terrified he may never win a starting spot at PSU again. He would be ranked in the top 3 to start the year. Carter is a nutcase. That's it. That and the info about the 133lb and 141lb plans for who is starting. He did mention that no wrestle offs have happened so things can change, but Blaze was promissed 133lbs and Davis is the plan at 141lbs. EDIT: One more thing. Blaze is a lefty and has a cannon in dodgeball. EDIT 2: Sorry I keep remembering things. He said Bo Bassett would be comitted to PSU if not for his father.

  4. Who is beating Focus this year? Kueter will barely be getting back into form by March rather than peaking. Mirasola is unlikely since he can't win by pushouts in folk and is very unlikely to get through Focus's stingy defense, Trumble has gone down since his Final X breakthrough, he will ride Feldman like a mule, and Bastida isn't the same he's got too many miles. No one likes this outcome but it feels inevitable unless Kueter and/or Mirasola takes a huge leap. Feldman was progressing very well but seemed to have been figured out by the end of last season and I just can't see him finishing his shots. You think Focus did a good job of riding everyone at 197 NCAAs? He's going to look ridiculous on a full feed.

  5. If this is still talking about the MI church shooting, the guy looks like he was a Trump supporter but hated the Mormons for some reason. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/sep/30/mormon-church-shooting-hate-religion So there are crazies on both sides if that is what you want to say. He is no longer in a position to cause more harm so that is a good thing. mspart

  6. Just got back from school (homeless shelter). Taught (helped) a homeless guy how to look for a job. I told him his self respect and determination can get him out of the hole he’s in. I said you live in the greatest country on the planet and only excuses hold you back here. He said he’ll give it a shot. Got him hooked up with a career specialist so we’ll see what happens. Helping a fellow citizen feels good.

  8. I figured this out last month based on process of elimination and a # of different factors. I had thought I posted it on here already however I do not see it. These pools have not been announced yet, but here they are Day 1 pools Penn St-Stanford-NDSU Cornell-Illinois-Little Rock Ohio St-Iowa St-Lehigh Day 2 will consist of 3 different pools as well. The 2-0 teams from Day 1 in one pool, 1-1 teams in a pool, and finally the 0-2 teams in a pool. Cornell has half their team out first semester. The way it works however (based on Foca and Ramirez last year) as they (Greg D, Ungar, Cornella, Fernandez, and Shapiro) will all be able to compete at the conclusion of the first semester. They do not have to wait for the second semester to start. Last year, Foca and Ramirez were able to participate in the dual vs NC State at home which fell on Dec 20th. It is looking like barring any injuries, Cornell should be full strength for this event. I would favor Cornell full strength over Illinois. This means quite possibly seeing Shapiro vs Kasak/Duke and Levi Haines vs Simon Ruiz. A match that Haines needed a t defensive takedown in the final seconds to win 4-1 at NCAAs. What about that third pool I listed day 1? I figured this out by the way by first separating like conference teams. Then Cornell and Little Rock accidentally put the teams they were facing on their schedule they rolled out quite early prior to changing it to show “collegiate duals” rather than the teams they were to face. Then with Iowa St having Stanford on their schedule a week after this event, and Cornell having Lehigh…everything fell into place as is. I created the graphic below for our BEG show we aired a few weeks ago

  9. So this topic is restricted to what happened in Chicago with the Tren de Aragua gang. How is arresting these gang members going to leave crops rotting in the fields? The question was are you for or against these Tren de Aragua folks, that hijacked an apartment building in Chicago, being arrested and deported? I honestly doubt they were doing farm work in Chicago. mspart

  11. Yeah, they were picking a lot of crops there in south Chicago. These guys are really going to affect food prices across the country. However, the folks in that apartment area are probably celebrating their freedom. mspart

  13. Problem is the detainment and deportation of undocumented residents that committed no crime other than being here. That's part of the reason why we have significant food inflation right now and, in some cases, vegetable crops left rotting in the fields. Multiple reasons why Trump's policies are ramping up inflation (in addition to devaluing of the dollar and record-breaking deficit spending) but that's one of them. The idiot wingers think they're getting rich because their 401ks are skyrocketing (in terms of nominal dollars only) but are too dumb to realize that so are everybody else's and the main reason is the free falling value of the dollar.

  14. Yes, and also many people don't fall neatly into either "side." That's why the "he's a leftist/conservative" debate is often fruitless. In this case, my guess is his hate of Mormons is likely rooted in his own religious faith, but being deeply religious is not really a right/left political issue even if conservatives are more likely to be religious.

  16. They can't be that far off. Last year they were 2nd at PIAA AA States and had the second most team points ever with 4 champs (tied for the most ever) and 9 medalists (3rd best ever). Unfortunately they didn't win the tournament. Faith Christian had 4 champions and 10 medalists which both represent the team record. Five McCort wrestlers on last years team have committed to wrestle D1; Magro (2025 Rutgers), Butler (2026 Cal Baptist), Forrest (2026 OSU), Sam Herring (2026 PSU), and Rodriguez (2026 Pitt). Another five (Bo Bassett (2026), Keegan Bassett (2028), Eli Herring (2028), Miller (2027), and O'Farrill (2028)) are highly likely to wrestle D1. That would make 10 D1 wrestlers on the roster. Only one of Silfies, Carfley, or Pensiero would need to go D1 to match Davison.

  17. What is the vision and final destination for the combat life of a wandering road warrior like Gable S.? Something like Hunger Games meets Mad Max meets Squid Games? A post-apocalyptic wasteland where the marginalized are forced to compete in sadistic, state-sponsored survival games for the amusement of a tyrannical water-hoarding elite?

  18. All totally fair points except you only ever apply this logic when it's a right-winger who commits the crime. You could equally find contradictions in the motives of supposed "leftist" shooters like Thomas Crooks or Robinson, neither of whom had strong leftist beliefs or ties to left-wing organizations. People do crazy things for all sorts of reasons. Murder is not logical. We shouldn't always expect a logical motive for either. Crooks was suffering a mental (potentially schizophrenic) breakdown leading up to his attempted murder. This guy apparently had severe PTSD. The guy who shot the ICE detainees had completely alienated all of his social connections after letting bizarre internet "edge-lord" mantra take over his life. Robinson also showed a lot of the same exposure to deep-internet, nihilist content. He engraved memes on the bullets. We may very well be entering the age of the internet-poisoned mass shooter. There are tons of these people out there with totally incoherent, detached-from-reality worldviews shaped by intense exposure to internet sub-cultures and rabbit holes. The QAnon guy who killed the mobster is an early example of this kind of thing. The internet is very bad for your brain, especially the brains of the young and elderly.

  19. Apparently, he went on a crime spree following the murder, so many of these charges happened after that, and from what I can see, that includes all of the violent offenses listed. His prior crimes appear to be non-violent offenses - burglary and theft mostly. So, while he was arrested and charged many times prior to this incident, none of those crimes were violent. So what's your solution? Lifetime imprisonment for repeated non-violent crimes? I've already outlined why I don't agree with that. Do you support it and if so, why? While tragic, I don't think this is a case indicative of a systemic issue. The biggest scandal should be the police failing to follow protocol and log his fingerprints. Doing so would have potentially led to harsher sentencing for his most recent non-violent crimes. But that's not a systemic issue. That's human error. I would support an investigation and punishment into that mistake, but I don't expect one considering it requires the police to police themselves.

  21. With Ragusin potentially going 141, Lemley weighed between 149-157 at weight certs so maybe he wants to RS then move up after Lachlan's gone? I saw Sement weighed under 141 at certs (won states at 145 last year), if he can make 133 for a year, I could see him going 133 and Ragusin going 141

This is what justice looks like, not the nonsense I dealt with for years. He’s been exposed — the lies, the betrayal. They thought they could take me down with dirty tricks. Now they see you can’t punch a lion and not expect consequences. Get ready — this is the beginning, not the end. Have a great day — we’re winning. #ComeyIndicted #JusticeServed #MAGA

  26. he weighed in at 63.9kg (140.58) for trials at 65kg (143) and said in an interview he ate breakfast before weigh ins so I would guess at most he is waking up at 140lbs right now walking around.

  30. Yeah, I favor McHenry, a 2x Cadet world champ in his own right, but I just can't convince myself it wouldn't be competitive. Helen's no stranger to wrestling men -- as a teen, she pinned the defending state champ at MD states -- and that was long before Helen was, well, Helen. McHenry has another year of eligibility (at Cal Baptist now?) so maybe it doesn't work, but I'd love to see a match with a dude who's legit but not so much stronger that it's a farce. Deshazer maybe? There's definitely not any women we can throw at Helen and have a competitive match, that's for sure.
