  3. It’s pretty simple. I don’t want us citizens deported either. It’s naive to think any program can be 100% accurate. That’s unfair but that’s life. So if you’re committed to deporting illegals you should minimize as much as possible errors but reality is there will be some. my comment is not really on that. Ds say Trump is a fascist bla bla because he deports and separates families etc…. While they do the same shyte. There wasn’t a cnn news piece 16,762 times a day when king Obama did it. No one called him a dictator. No one called him a fascist. No one said he was ending democracy. It’s that hypocrisy on the left that people are sick of.

  4. Well, this subject sure has triggered some some folks. At this point I say who cares, all kinds of folk get into law enforcement. Educated non educated. He’ll be following orders (or publicity stuff) not setting policy. His degree in history with emphasis in development in motion pictures is pretty much irrelevant. Let him roll, just like anyone else.

  7. Example of cancel culture: Stating "All lives matter" then losing job of 20+ years the next day. Not examples of cancel culture: Not having your tens of millions of dollars contract renewed because your show loses tens of millions of dollars every year due to your antics alienating 50+% of the population.

  9. It was the best of days. It was the worst of days. I was 10. I was stuck. I just could not break 1:00.0 in the 100 yard freestyle. It was summer so we were swimming long course where the equivalent is 1:08. My coach got an idea. Instead of my normal warm up of 500 - 1,000 meters he wanted me to swim non-stop for the entire hour warm up session. And I was just dumb enough to do it. I swam a 1:06 that day. I was elated until my coach burst that bubble telling me he had just discovered I was a distance swimmer. Dammit. What followed was a series of late Sunday sessions when everyone else had gone home, but I was stuck waiting for the last event, the 1,500 free. Some meets the officials didn't even stick around. They just left the keys on the blocks with a note saying to lock up when I was finished. Many miles, and few accolades later, my shoulders are killing me and my flexibility is shot. But at least I can bring a bit of culture into an uncultured world.

  12. Reported by dozens of news outlets: I don’t know who dc draino is. I don’t think they clean pipes though I don’t know who Johnny Midnight is either : The United States Department of Justice has subpoenaed New York Attorney General Letitia James, who had successfully filed a civil lawsuit against US President Donald Trump for alleged fraud in his business dealings. Friday’s subpoenas come as the department convenes a grand jury to investigate whether James, a Democrat, violated the civil rights of President Donald Trump and other Republican-affiliated entities.

  22. Cool link in the comments. https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/2017/06/the-clintons-had-slaves the Clinton’s had slaves: Hillary Clinton was, however, generous enough to allow inmates from Arkansas prisons to work as unpaid servants in the Governor’s Mansion. In It Takes a Village, Hillary Clinton writes that the residence was staffed with “African-American men in their thirties,” since “using prison labor at the governor’s mansion was a longstanding tradition, which kept down costs.” It is unclear just how longstanding the tradition of having chained black laborers brought to work as maids and gardeners had been. But one has no doubt that as the white residents of a mansion staffed with unpaid blacks, the Clintons were continuing a certain historic Southern practice. (Hillary Clinton did note, however, that she and Bill were sure not to show undue lenience to the sla…servants, writing that “[w]e enforced rules strictly and sent back to prison any inmate who broke a rule.”

  23. Reddit is only good for p0rn and hearsay. also as noted above. Every president since the beginning of time has separated parents from kids when caught doing illegal stuff. Stuff ranging from dui to assault or illegal immigration or anything in between. All babies cry every night. Noting that this particular baby cries every night ads no value to the opinion piece.

  31. Overwhelmingly people want the illegals out. The people who want them out are not crying holy hell over a few mistakes. The liberal people that wanted them here and not deported are the ones whining. &nbsp their is no system that can be 100.0% accurate. It isn’t like 51,000 citizens got deported. Here is a number for you. 6 months in. Judges have had Trump bring back 4 people. F-o-u-r. 51,000 minus 4 is 50,996. Your what-about comment is nonsense. It isn’t happening in large enough volume relative to the volume of the people on left that whine about it. The pro illegal alien + sanctuary city whiny people. fun fact. That section of people were going to whine either way no matter what Trump did. No matter how effective or ineffective he is. That’s just the reality of politics.

  33. The whole thing with whatabouts is an inability to hold one’s own accountable. It’s much easier on the psyche to point out someone else doing wrong than to acknowledge my guy/person/group is doing wrong. We saw it in the last administration and ‘what about’ for Biden back to Trump, just like we are seeing it now with Biden and Obama. Two sides of the same coin. It’s a lot like the parent that comes in to meet the principal because their kid f***ed up. Instead of taking the steps and strategy to ensure their kid won’t make the same mistake again, it’s easier to find other kids who have done it. The problem with all these whatabouts is they won’t promote any growth or improvement in behaviors. It’s enabling. And that’s the number one political strategy these days, deflect what my party is doing wrong and look got and scream and yell what the other party is doing wrong (even if my party is doing the same d**n thing). And unfortunately many of we the people fall for it hook line and singer and flock around like parrots

I think Moore is going to turn some heads this year - NQ as a true freshman and a redshirt last year. Big potential.

  38. And finally a table. Horizontal change represent consolidation in a weight. For example, 184 gained points from both 174 and 197. Vertical change represents dispersion from a weight. For example, 197 gave up points to 174and 285. Reading in both directions shows both sides of the coin. For example, 157 gave up 33.5 points to 165, but received 31 from 149.

Nebraska does a great job and that camp is a really good prep for Fargo for any kid serious about placing high there. I am sure they are all over it on the recruiting trail. Hard to pin down everything that happens in the recruiting process for schools, but kids social medias give some insights as to what visits are happening etc. Dean mentioned two last night, said ISU visited Sonny Amato and Va Tech visited Clinton Shepherd, both legit hammers.

  41. Brucey? Ha...yes, I do watch current college wrestling. Actually...been watching wrestling since I've been old enough to see. I apologize for not being able to adequately explain the strategy of protecting a lead and "smart stalling." Stalling has always been and always will be a "standard and part of the game." I do have a little experience wrestling at the college level against exceptional competition and "stalling" within the confines of the rules as written was a great weapon. First of all, my observation is that referee's usually call stalling when it's obvious and not cloaked well. When it is concealed well, they have no choice. They can't call it. Second of all, the lead wrestler has earned that right to stall at the end of a match particularly when a stall call will not affect the outcome of the match and especially if he has no prior stall calls. Handing out a courtesy stall at the end is...other than appeasing folks like you...useless anyway. That you, or others, don't approve...well, I can't help you on that. As mentioned earlier, as a wrestler, if you feel your opponent is stalling, you have a responsibility to expose it and get the call. Actually, as a strategy, I was taught to try to get my opponent called for stalling early in the match so that call is hanging over his head for the rest of the match. Usually, not always, a very good coach teaches and drills those techniques. Sometimes a wrestler can figure it out on his own too, but I was taught stalling and "expose" stalling techniques and used it very well, might I add.
