125 - MAM is capable of a DEEP run and McCrone is capable of pinning anyone from top. 133 - If we get peak-form Orine, and typical lose-early Bouzakis, I actually think ( 26 ) seeded Orine is the favorite here. 141 - Latona is a hard read and Chappell matches up well with him, I think. 149 - If Clark can keep it 0-0 through one, or be up outright, this is a tough match for Lamer. Clark is stingy and tough on top and could take this one. 157 - Lovett is the one guy in the bracket who could go speed-for-speed with a healthy Teemer. Teemer isn't healthy and while a Lovett victory here surprises nobody, were you to call the pick in October, you would have been laughed at and assumed Lovett was a ( 30 ) - ( 33 ) seed. 165 - Lillard is much better than his ( 27 ) seed gives him credit for. Mantanona has won a lot of his matched by getting up big early with a big move then sort of taking it easy. If Lillarf can prevent going down early and make this a dogfight, will Mantanona stay composed? 174 - If Braunagel picks up with where he left off at B1Gs, he has a great chance against last season's ( 2 ) seed in Devos. 184 - Rogotzke can deck just about anyone and Rider's Dean has a severely bloated seed ( 7 ), having already been Techfelled by Rogotzke's teammate Shumate. 197 - Munoz is not 100% and up until a few weeks ago, a medical wad still very much on the table. McDanel has wrestled anyone but the best rather well this season and, perhaps more importantly, appears to be healthy. 285 - Feldman is the better wrestler, but their match this season was a 4-2 match. Bullock is athletic enough and has a large enough frame to turn this around.6 points

Ok...not trying to argue for Starocci again, but C'mon...Plott? Plott is not beating Starocci! I think whoever he sees in the finals can...they won't, but can(and I said before the B1Gs I thought McEnelly could take him down). His two non-bonus matches have been VERY different. One was vs a Freshmen who went out there trying to WIN the match. The other was a Freshmen who went out there trying to not lose. I think he's only had one close match...unless we're counting the All-Star Duel. I give him about a 90% chance. I think he beats Keck 9 of 10 and McEnelly 98/100. Those are the only two I think can beat him and I don't think Keck winning would be a huge upset. I do think this will be his toughest title since his 1st one as Keck is such a stud, there are a lot of era I think he's a 3X Champ. 3/3/2/1 123-5 with 3 losses to Brooks, 1 to Truax(he avenged for 3rd) and one to Hidlay who he beat 3 or 4 times after. He also never took a RS. So just no Brooks, he's probably 1/3/1/1/? But...that's not what happened.5 points

How do I watch on a regular TV channel using Cable / Hulu / YouTube TV, etc? All Thursday/Friday/Saturday daytime sessions will be on ESPNU. The Thursday evening session is on ESPN, the Friday evening session is on ESPN2, and the Saturday evening session is on ESPN. How do I watch individual mats, the Octobox, and upcoming assignments? You need an ESPN+ subscription. You may already have this if you have a Disney/Hulu bundle, or you may have it individually. I don't know if I have ESPN+ / How do I get a subscription? Click this link here How much does it cost? As cheap as $11.99 for a one-month subscription. You can also choose from the a la carte for an annual package or build custom bundles with Disney+ and Hulu Is it easy to cancel? Yes. Unlike some companies that offer hard to cancel wrestling subscriptions such as Flo, ESPN+ is very easy to cancel after your three day nattys bonanza. What can I watch ESPN+ on? Smart TVs and smart sticks like Roku and Amazon Fire. You can also watch from your computer, phone, or tablet. Can I watch on multiple devices? Yes! Each year I have 4 big screens and a laptop. My setup would make @jagger712 jealous.4 points

God, please no. As much of a nuthugger as I am with Facundo, I do not want to hug the same nuts as Minnow at the same time. I enjoy Rutgers and their tenacity. I don't want to be swordmaster bros with Minnow, though.3 points

Was it just me or was Gable super calm, relaxed, and having fun during the collegiate athlete press conference? He made a comment at the beginning saying something like "I'm prepared for your questions (paraphrasing)". I'm not sure the last time I saw someone so confident and just there to have fun. Obviously KOT and Carter (and AJ) were confident, but Gable just had a swagger and enjoyment about him that was so cool. A really neat thing for wrestling fans...reminds you that this is a sport, and sports are supposed to be fun. Happy NCAA's!3 points

With two and a half hours until go time it is time for the summary. It is a fight to escape the bottom. Seventy-three forum knuckleheads enter. But only one shall reign supreme. With more entries comes greater difficulty. But one of you has an eye for talent that the rest of us lack. Put this Dark Horse Derby win on your resume and you will have your pick of head recruiting positions at major D1 programs. 103 of the 170 wrestlers found a home on someone’s team. 44 of the 61 schools are represented. Indiana and Cornell have the most wrestlers in the Derby with six. No weight had every wrestler chosen at least once. But there was a pleasing symmetry to 8 of the 10 weights with ten, eleven, or twelve wrestlers chosen. Sixteen of the seventeen seeds have at least one wrestler in the Derby. No one likes a #30 seed. Sad. The top end of the bottom end of the bracket is favored. No surprise. But #18 seeds are almost 40% more popular than #17 seeds. Even #20 seeds are more popular than #17 seeds. The #26 seed has seen an abnormally large number of AA’s. This year with Ryder Rogotzke and his penchant for big moves, that seed is well represented. Let’s call the popularity of #18 seeds The Jacori Teemer Effect. Even more popular than Rogotzke, Teemer runs away with the Loving Cup. Every weight had a clear favorite, though Josh Saunders was in the closest race with Mosha Schwartz. One is the loneliest number for 29 wrestlers. They are the singularities who received a single vote. I am happy to say that two of them are on my team. Though CHROMEBIRD is the most individual, with three lone wolves in his pack. GimJustaFan wins the award for “most in the spirit of the event” team as the sum of his ten seeds comes to 238, the highest in the field. Ionel and jross went the other way as their seeds sum to a mere 189 each.2 points

Do we know if the staff at LR are incompetent and just didn’t know? Do we know if they are raging cheaters in a dark back room scheming to cheat? Do we know if Brennan was or wasn’t in on cheating? I don’t think we know anything factual other than he is out of eligibility. Do we know factually. I honestly dunno.2 points

The worst case scenario for Penn State would be if an internet troll claimed to be a Penn State fan and a few gullible people believed him leaving them thinking that Penn State fans are dumber than a box of rocks.2 points

here's the thing about the 'best 3xer' argument. i could get behind a ton of them without issue. but Lee Kemp (if i recall correctly) really didn't 'lose' on the scoreboard. if memory serves me correct, he won 3 titles and lost one on referee's decision when that was a thing. literally, the ref's just picked a guy.2 points
