I am with you. I will need to be off of social media for a while. Going to have to take a step back and appreciate my family and those around me more despite the American hating POS in office.3 points

No one had to ban or fine buggy whips for them to find a new demand/supply equilibrium in the economy Natural economic processes and decisions by consumers prevailed. The future needs no bans or fines or subsidies to get here. If EVs are the future let them come naturally and not via the hoax and coercion.3 points

This has to be pure projection. @Bigbrog presents as a sensible, considerate fellow that one would expect, upon meeting in person, to be a true gentleman. You, on the other hand, present as a snotty imbecile.2 points

Don't you think if Trump was on the list it would be out by now? Then they wouldn't have to keep selectively editing clips to make up shit that wasn't said. Diddy's list is pretty much public because he took pictures and videos and they are all over the internet.2 points

This terror is from the Renault CEO, the country of Italy, the country of Czechia. The EU fines don't affect me. Your idea that bans and fines and the authority to coerce other humans are mundane is troubling. How about if you drive what you want and I'll drive what I want and we leave each other alone?2 points

One can only hope it's over by tomorrow but we will be lucky if they have all the votes by Friday since there isn't a cutoff.2 points

Starocci gets beat in the semis, forfeits out and actually leaves the building but Minnow and PSU faithful are very understanding and sympathetic to the decision, not at all critical.2 points

Trump was not a politician and did not know what he didn't know. He explained this in the Rogan interview. He admits his mistakes. Now that he understands, he's assembled a team ahead of time.2 points

The biggest shame in all of this is that politics and government and citizens electing their leaders has gotten to a place where people feel that way. And that's not an indictment toward anyone feels that way, but rather on the climate surrounding us. I still hold that whoever wins the Presidential ballot tomorrow, on the pie chart of ingredients that actually impact my day to day life, and my ability to continue to advance my life, is a small slice.1 point

Hot take One of the big 3 Iowa transfers (Buchanan, Parco, Teemer) doesn't AA this season. Trusted media mogul Minnow proceeds to never shut the f*ck up about it for at least several months after the season ends.1 point

Did I tell you how the Iroquois did it? There were a number of smaller tribes, I think five or six, that made up the greater Iroquois tribe. The Founders got some of the idea for our government from the Iroquois, in that each of the smaller tribes elected their leaders (chiefs) and tended to their own affairs, like our states. In matters between the smaller tribes, or dealing with outside tribes - war and trade and such - the entire council would meet. Only men could serve on the council, but only women could vote for the chiefs. If a chief voted in a way they disproved of, they would remove him and elect a replacement. There was no single person in charge, no president, all chiefs had equal say and all matters had to be decided by unanimous agreement. Which brings the filibuster to mind. But if a chief held up the decision too long, the women could just replace him with someone who would follow the majority. It’s no wonder the white men overcame them. I1 point

It shouldn't surprise you. Trump wants to ban books and censor his opponents (or worse.) Trump is the oldest Presidential candidate in the history of the country (beats Biden by a couple years.) He's old, senile, stubborn, and full of hate toward strong women and minorities and many other things he likes to ramble on about at his silly little rallies that some low IQ people seem to want to attend. (They feel a low IQ bond with Trump.) Basically every one who has ever had a personal part in Trump's last presidency has either ditched him (his own family included) or come out against him for this election (most everyone he's hired.) It's simple. Even his own family, who know him best, have ditched him. Trump is a loser.1 point

It's may be subtle - but, I would say you're wrong. Let me edit your line a bit and we can revisit it. Trump would damage this country in many ways in order to make a considerable personal profit for him , even if it meant that it would aid Putin or Russia in the process. To this statement, I would agree 100% According to recent polls, 100% of fence posts also agree.1 point

How desperate do you have to be to create a whole new fake account just to spill your political takes? Seriously, it's embarrassing. We’re already anonymous here, and you're out here hiding behind two layers because you’re too scared to own what you’re saying? That’s about as weak as it gets. Just admit you’re too gutless to stand by your words and save us all the trouble. Reveal your main. We all know you will disappear a few days after the election.1 point

Jordan Peterson calls them the X Team. Elon Musk; RFK Jr.; Tulsi Gabbard; J.D. Vance; Vivek Ramaswamy. Highly intelligent, accomplished, patriotic, energetic in their support for Trump. There is no comparable group for Harris. Peterson dispels claims of Trump’s narcissism, pointing out that narcissists don’t seek out intelligent people for counsel. That is a trait more associated with Kalamela.1 point

No matter what we say or think one of these two candidates will be elected President on Tuesday. If it's really close and Pennsylvania is the deciding factor it will be Thursday or Friday before we know anything. Some people will melt down and some of us will just go about our normal lives.1 point

Nazi comparisons are meant to drive a reaction and are not based on accurate history. It is over the top. Lets explore comparative behavior. Like the Nazis, which American party has heavy control over media and uses propaganda to shape public opinion, suppress dissent, and promote their ideology? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party supports censoring speech? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party supports expanded government power under the guise of public welfare? Democrats! Like the Nazis, which American party is actively prosecuting and attempting to kill their political opposition? Democrats! Yea, but America First! Yes, which American party wants to focus on prioritizing American jobs, reducing illegal immigration, and scaling back U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts? Republicans! And that is completely different than the Nazi focus on racially exclusionary ideology. Remind me, which party wants to talk about racial identify all the time? Democrats! Drop it.1 point

Which would suggest that Trump is very poor at hiring, if he needs to fire so many of his hires. Someone with that poor judgement should not be president. And that is so far down the list of reasons Trump should never be president again.1 point

It is a good gauge for both him and Munoz and establishes some form of pecking order early. Last year the two 184lbers who came up ran roughshed - with ease - on all of 197lbs. Buchanan established that Munoz will not do the same.1 point

I’m sure you could start there. Now. And when you were competing. I don’t like nebby but a constant top 10/15 team is really elite. Message board warriors hrumofffff….. we are so not good for growing the sport. imagine a hs athlete…. Who isn’t in the top 10 thinking I’m settling when choosing nebby. What message does that give? What % of hs athletes can start at a Nebraska. Not a large #.1 point
