  2. Tulsi Gabbard was the most level headed democrat in the last presidential election so of course the left ran her off.

  3. True or not? Well evidently a majority voted for Hamas but that was back in 2006. The young people had nothing to do with that vote but why haven't a majority risen up since and demanded new elections. Doesn't mean the non Hamas civilians deserve any of this but if you want change and peace may need to vote for change and peace?

  4. you can't be serious. all those places have turned into dumpsters. and the major cities in the US with policies and sympathies that align with them are equal shitholes.

  5. bill maher is a leftist thru and thru. he hates all religions and even did a documentary on it. that being said, when the left party took a turn for crazy town, Bill maintained sanity.

  8. Getting back to Jordan Holm, obviously, I was a pretty close watcher of the case. What I seem to recall was that the only DNA evidence that was found on her was a droplet of spit on her thigh, not "the other." In no way could I swear to this as it was so long ago, and just the very fact that we're getting slightly different accounts on here shows that a lot of it could be guesswork or poor recall. It sure hurt to lose him though when it happened. His game was elevating big time each week.

  10. Easy: conservatives. All studies have been showing that for several years. They are also the ones responsible for about 75% of all terrorist activity in the U.S. today. You know, the "trespassers," as you're told to parrot.

  12. Asked, “How likely are you to vote for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election?” 30% of Democrats said “very” or “somewhat likely.” Some 50% of black people agreed, as did 80% of Republicans. https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonexaminer.com%2Fnews%2Fwashington-secrets%2Ftrump-wins-generic-vote-big-30-democrats-back-him

  13. It’s obvious to everybody that he was found guilty of being rich, and nothing else. She claimed rape and the jury found against her claim. They thought she was lying. She claimed assault and that includes things like a pat on the buttock. They, by a preponderance and less than unanimously, found that “it could have happened.” He called her nuts and a liar and the jury found that he had more money than she did and that wasn’t fair, even if she was a lying nut job. So they awarded her money. The law may be complicated but understanding this case isn’t.

  15. I had never heard of Jordan Holm until this thread. I’ll admit 6 years in jail may have been an excessive punishment, and while IANAL he may have had a better shot at getting off with a jury, but reading that link it seems like a pretty strong case that he did it, so it’s surprising you’re starting out with the “if he’s innocent” line. Between his changing and improbable stories, the availability of witnesses in addition to the victim, DNA evidence, etc, there isn’t much chance that he was innocent. @TitleIX is ripe for reform, what’s your opinion of Dayton Racer?

  16. That’s an awful lot of quoting the same post. But….sorry, he wasn’t convicted of anything. He was found liable for defamation. In order to decide on defamation, they had to decide if they believe he assaulted her. Which, they did. There was no conviction on the table. Sorry. So yeah, educate yourself, in a civil trail, there are no convictions. he wasn’t convicted of sexual assault. As much as it pains me to ‘defend’ his terms, they are accurate. You are not.

  17. it's a little more complicated than publicly owned. they get some state funding but the managment/ownership is less direct than the SUNY campuses. the difficulty of admissions varies. The hardest schools to get into have always been Engineering and A&S as far as I know, but Hotel is also private and definitely the easiest. AAP, ILR, HumEc and Ag have always seemed pretty close but I'm sure someone else has more current statistics.

  18. Can you take the SA apologist stuff elsewhere? The entire board thinks you’re a scumbag. Like, everyone. Lots of people who disagree with each vehemently about on many issues think you’re a vile human being. Please, just stop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  19. Moron, he was found guilty. Stop with the if and the alleged. Something like this could not happen to anyone. It can only happen to someone who commits the acts he was found guilty of committing.

  20. Daniel Cardenas, Jack Darrah and Luke Duthie were Cornell commits who switched to Stanford when Koll took the job. Good lord, man, ILR is ILR. The hotel school at Cornell is "the School of Hotel Administration." Different programs entirely. ILR is one of the statutory schools (Ag and Human Ecology are the others); Hotel is one of the purely private colleges (Engineering, Arts & Sciences and Architecture, Art & Planning are the others. Man, UNC was an elite academic school but the state of North Carolina has been trying their hardest to defund and ruin it. Depressing.

  24. No one is against the idea of making America great again. It’s the perspective of what makes America great that is being challenged. It’s also the idea that just because someone is wearing or hat, or standing at the podium in congress like it’s a stripper pole, belting ‘we are ultra maga” doesn’t mean they are really working to make American great. Then there’s the idea that America is still great, tremendously great. Not perfect but…

  25. i don't know the answer to this question i'm about to ask...it's a genuine question i don't know the answer to so please don't read anything into it (the way many on this board (including myself) often do. But i read that Egypt has a very secure border on the Gaza strip that prevents Palestinians from entering. Why? do they not want them there? why has no other Muslim nation offered them refuge including Egypt, who could make it very easy for them to flee.

  26. Would you be able to restate this in different words? I am having trouble following your meaning. I do a good job of weeding out the 'expert' from the 'apprentice.' And depending on the cost, I will consider multiple experts to decide. My new dentist recommended that I replace all my silver fillings. Why? Because they were old. I went to another dentist who could tell me which ones needed replacing due to failure and could explain why they failed. My wife visited a mechanic this month to have him inspect why her SUV is still bouncy after replacing shocks. I needed a fault diagnosis to get a refund on parts. The mechanic's diagnosis of the cause was that the front shocks (coil over) did not look like the rear shocks. When I brought the old shock out for comparison, he could not explain why the new shock did not work, just stated that it must be faulty. After returning from India with a parasite, the first doctor could not tell me what was wrong, wished me luck, and said I should get back with him after figuring it out. I went to two other doctors and finally found an Indian doctor who immediately diagnosed me with confidence. When contracts told me that my company needed to pay a large amount of money to a vendor, for a contract I inherited, something didn't seem logically right, I read the contract language myself - worked through ambiguous language, and saved the company money. As an engineer, I have to explain the reasoning behind my design to my critical peers, answer questions, show sources, and convey confidence because design acceptance impacts my team. So when an 'expert' cannot confidently express themselves and provide informed answers, I second guess them. Remember, more doctors smoke camels than any other cigarette!

  27. Hamas and Palestinians are separate entities. Hamas has been governing the Gaza strip. Palestinians do live there. In a geographically separate area, the West Bank is populated by Palestinians but is not ruled by Hamas dipshits. Hamas are the blood thirsty war driven group of animals that are responsible for the recent Israeli attacks. Only in Gaza, not in the West Bank. Palestinians are not Israeli's opposition. Hamas is.
